Mine's showing 7 mins left ..... don't know why I got so excited and had to get on and DL it straight away, I can't get set up to play until about ten pm tonight :nervous:
I'm not sure I'll be able to play it at all tonight! Also I've kinda sprained both feet (getting old) so am slightly unfit to drive.

Any of you that have been trying to get all achievement/trophies? If yes, did you got the "Community Ambassador" which requires to participate in 20 Driver Network Community Events? I'm missing this one and by now, I already played 22 community events, counting with the one that got available after patch 3.00.

Did you set a time in all 22 of them?

Same mate, You need to wait for your missus going to bed as well?

Haha no, unfortunately I'm on call until then and apart from the fact that I would never pass the statutory time test to exit a racing car (well, wheelstand and armchair) in an emergency (or a ringing landline in my case :dopey:) anybody who made me pause the game and run through two rooms to the phone would probably take offence to my attitude :odd:

PS4 can be strange when it comes to downloading something .
It started downloading the patch very slowly and said it will take 3 hours , so the first hour was done and I had 1 GB than suddenly .... what ... 15min bang full download was done .

First little bug : In garage all the icons from each car where before patch 3.0 in colour , now they have a grey colour , except when you go over the icons then they are in colour .

Second bug : going back to the main screen error code 12345 you know the numbers .
Ach well , never mind .

Mine said 4 hours (IIRC) at first so I pressed X to pause, then unpaused and it went straight down to 50, then 40 and ended up taking about 20 mins. Will be using this pause/resume technique from now on.

Very happy with this patch. The main thing I love is what they did with the online. Well.... How they format it. Instead of going into the lobby list and seeing prototypes, formula, touring, and etc.... You see now LMP1, LM2,LMP3, GT1, GT3, GT4, GT5, FA, FB, FC, Vintage F1, touring 2 and etc..I really love that they did that. So that way you exactly know what type of class car you and others are about to race.I'm noticing it's so many different types of rooms now instead GT3 and that's i like how it was before. I had a blast online today. This is a big step for online in my opinion. All we need now is chat box, get rid of the lag when someone joins during the middle of practice/qualifying, No tuning option, and ability to name are rooms. I'm also very happy that they got rid of the bug when you couldn't drive or nothing when you join a lobby. So yea like I said really happy. Everything else is great as well. I love that it shows how many laps it you can go on a tank of fuel as well. Really like that. So yea this patch is 9.5/10 for me. Only issue I had..... My game crashed for the first time in months. So that was kinda odd.

Pretty sure this is intentional. Better indication what is currently selected. Could be wrong also :)

Jussis , you could be right ,in fact I like it better than before to be honest Project cars don't have to change it for me .

Also the ability for host to kick bad players, & those already on your PSN Block list to be automatically barred from all your lobbies. Once we get all of that, I'll be heading online!

👍

I only race with structured series from trusted forums and forum members, with these upgrades online racing will be better

I only race in Tuning Prohibited open lobbies in GT6, can't even do that in Project CARS at the moment, so haven't even bothered buying PS Plus as of yet. I need these features!

totally agreed there mate, on the same token though, the cars in game are what I would call 90% completed, good enough to be competitive, but will always require so minor alterations to suit your needs,

This idea of Tuning Prohibited is that you are barred from doing tuning, that is; any tuning whatsoever. I'd like an option for the cars to be locked as they are, & another option to lock all cars in the lobby to one set up. That way all drivers are on exactly the same set up, it levels the playing field & makes for good racing. It's also great for guys who don't have enough time to mess around with tuning, they can just jump on & be cometitive.

I haven't found one single car that didn't need tuning out of the box so I'd never hit the non-tuned lobbies I reckon.

The McLaren, Z4, Bentley, Ruf GT3 cars drive almost perfect out of the box, most of the open wheel type cars need a lot of tuning,

What? All three of those need tuning, the only ones that don't (if you want) are the Bentley and Ruf because their gearboxes are fixed basically. Then again I only tune the brake and radiator ducts, tire pressures, downforce, gearbox, fuel, weight and brake balance (if needed). I never touch suspension.

Same, I need to adjust the car to the particular circuit and conditions. A stock setup is bleh.

I'm still at the stage where I just have one setup per car, and adjust the final drive depending on if there's a long straight on the track, for example. Haven't got around to different setups for different tracks but I should start that really.

You don't adjust suspension? Why so? Do you find the stock suspension ok? I tend to loosen the rear springs if my car has exit oversteer for example.

I'm not handy with suspension changes, should get into that though as it'd probably help out A LOT (especially at the Nurburging). I recently got into adjusting the individual gears + the final drive (just did the final drive before) if the need arises or if it just needs minor tweaks to perfect it.
