It's known. It came with patch 3 and it is "under investigation" as they say.
Like I wrote, they are checking the report I made to Sony after my second game crash (while I had none at all before patch 3)
They say this since 1.0.

I don't care if it has lights or not. Just raced it in the Ruapuna invitational (thunderstorm in practice, qualification and most of the race). No tune.Oooh, he means the Audi 90 Quattro IMSA GTO? Yeah... that has no lights, just stickers or grey plastic.
I know, but not so much people seem to have suffered crashes. They say this since 1.0.

Now there's lots of them.
Crank up the wastegate for more powerrrrrr!I don't care if it has lights or not. Just raced it in the Ruapuna invitational (thunderstorm in practice, qualification and most of the race). No tune.
This thing is a dream to drive !! I love it !!
I was wondering too. I find them not to be better rain drivers than myself now...I dont know what you people are doing. I m not having any pace issues with the AI in the rain anymore and besides the too frequently dropped wheelnuts I have had zero pit issues since 3.0.
Just used it for the first time. Seems pretty powerfull in stock settings allready.Crank up the wastegate for more powerrrrrr!

What a beast of a car ! Almost as good asxthe Zakspeed Capri.
Don't really like this club, but thankswelkom/welcome tot(to) de/the club
I dont know what you people are doing. I m not having any pace issues with the AI in the rain anymore and besides the too frequently dropped wheelnuts I have had zero pit issues since 3.0. And I m playing the game more than ever since last Friday.
And yeah, that Audi Imsa 90 is the hoot of the year! Loved that Ruapuna event and at Laguna Seca it was a riot, too.
PS @wowbaggerBR : Its a shame that people like you feel the need to jump to conclusions and accusations. Its perfectly fine to be unsatisfied with the current or release state of pcars but greed, Shift 3 and all that crap you are on today are just uninformed lameness.
It indeed is, but being part of WMD, I can tell you there was not much room left from them to delay the game until everything was fixed. In my opinion, they were not in a position to delay the game any more. They had to let it out while still continue work like it was not released. It all sounded to me like a financial decision. Seemed like some third parties involved were pushing to release the game. Besides, you could feel the stress of the devs from when they didn't meet Novemeber deadline on.

After three months, only an idiot wouldn't jump to conclusions.
Greed, Bandai pressure, incompetence, I don't know what is the truth.
Do you know what it's like and how hard it is to be a game developer? Especially one with a small amount of employees trying to make a massive game? And also a developer with only a fraction of the budget of many major developers? After three months, only an idiot wouldn't jump to conclusions.
Greed, Bandai pressure, incompetence, I don't know which is the truth. What I do know is tidbits of information released by WMD members here and there and all that makes me think. The bottom line is that an over hyped game was released unfinished and months of patches failed hard to fix it.
But don't you dare point this out!
And you are absolutely right. I'm on crap today and it's called Project CARS.
edit: some of those tidbits:
I will admit, Project Cars does indeed have many bugs (some people like me have experienced few, but others have had numerous unfortunately) but if you look beyond the problems, what you have is an excellent solid game.

I ll tell you the truth: It is not perfect, far from it. But its still a good to very good racing sim and as good as they could get it done with the time, manpower and budget they had. Why not just accept that fact and instead sling around fecal matter like greed, incompetence etc.? Why does everything that isnt perfect have to be trashtalked to death nowadays?
And I honestly dont know what your problems with the patches are. Is everything fixed? No. But again, they are doing as much as they can and I m having a blast with the game after 3.0. Name me another game that has had that many fixes and feature additions in the span of 3 months. With the exception of maybe Driveclub, I dont know another game that comes even close. Again it is this all or nothing mindstate that I can not understand.
"If you look beyond the holocaust, Hitler was a great leader".
Sorry, I couldn't resist because your argument is lame.
A lot of misinterpreted stuff
In any case, use a bit of common sense when speaking in public. SMS employees, like you, also read forums. Especially sections about their game. So it might not be handy to just blurt out frustrations in such manner.
Oh, feel free to pressure the studio into staying on the bug fixing and remind them that certain things are still to be fixed. In the right tone that is, cause there is nothing against that.
Don't really like this club, but thanks

Don't forget the 0.9 now, they said 99.9It doesn't, but when the developers lie and say "the game is 99% done, all it needs is a polish" they are setting themselves up for a massive fall and deserve any criticism they get when the game is released and people find out the game needs more than a polish.
Not on your life !Driveclub?

How did you get the racing line on? And Lol. Using the racing line?
No pause button you must pee in your suitSo you're having a dig at this guy for using an assist that's in the game, why because it's unrealistic? OK, then let's take out the track map, position, timing from the HUD. Better take out all the other cameras apart from helmet cam, oh and while we're at it, 100% only for the AI because it's unrealistic for racers to be driving at less than full pelt.
Next we'll take out support for control pads, also make sure you're running all practice and qualifying sessions at 100% like they do in real life. No car to track reset button either, and you had better be wearing a full racing suit too!
Anything else?
