Hi all.

Basically I've now fallen out of love with GT and my PS3, so looking at doing more career racing etc instead of online series etc. I love the track list for PCars, it looks amazing and some great british tracks. (Mainly because it relates to BTCC for me) but the car list seems to be lacking. Is it still going to be enjoyable enough to play?

Also, what about the wheels, Will my G27 now work or will I need to buy another?

Would like some feedback from players before I take the plunge

Buy it, enjoy it, beware of bugs.

The car list might be small compare to GT but every car is very different from each other when you drive them it makes up for a smaller list of cars. Also the DLC's coming gives you more cars, tracks and paint schemes. ;)

It is only after starting in ProjectCars that I realised that GT series, wich gave me a lot of fun, are not on par with (sim)race games.
PCars is a totally other level, much more real and much more immersive.

It still has his bugs, but not everyone seems te be affected as much as the other.
I noticed some of them, especially before the patches came out, but they did never make the game unplayable or less fun for me.

If you go PC, your wheel will still do, if you go PS4, you will need a new wheel, but it will still be worth it.

Great selection of tracks and - even at this moment - more than enough cars to have fun with. I raced some 360 hrs by now and still have not used several cars (more than a few laps).
There are still many cars to come into the game (some tracks too).

AI is - even if you use their lowel level - much better than whatever GT was able to give us.

I would certainly recommend this game 👍

Exactly what @Tired iron said.

I was like you... got bored of GT6. I don't regret taking the plunge with pCARS. The level of customization allows you to make the game as challenging as you want. This can add length to the game. Playing 100% length with practice and qualifying, I may complete 2 races at the most for an evening. Although I may know a track, I still need practice session to relearn braking zones and lines for each car.

jumped on Project Cars do some racing online. I've realized that Online is now a huge cluster 🤬..
Yeah i tried like 6 times to race in random lobbies and the level is ABISMAL, way way way way lower than gt6 rooms. Depressing. Well the best thing is always to join a serie here i know and organize one but still...

Guys

I really like PCars despite some of the bugs. I've not done career mode, so I know nothing of the horror stories I've herd.

I decided to by PC and PS4 software. I really love the PC version. Mainly because you can swap car skins and the resolution is stunning with the right GPU. A friend of mine let me use his 980 GTX and I fell in love.
Until he took it back.

My question is with my G27. It works fine with GT on PS3, but I can not find the profiler software for Windows 10.
And even though Windows recognizes the wheel as G27, when I try to configure it inside Project Cars PC, I get no pedal response and limited button usage.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I think Logitech has bailed on G27 users. And I know they seem to have gotten rid of any software for G27 profiling. Even before I went to Win10, running the recommended LGS never worked.
I just does not finish the install. So if there is some magic and someone share? I would love to use my wheel for something besides GT6. Forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask this question.

Make sure you use the 5.10 version of the Logitech Gaming Software, as that is the last one that will detect the G27, newer versions won't work with it. Should work fine under Windows 10.
