No idea dude. Backup you save game and try, I d say. What could possibly go wrong..? :D

I'm actually gonna go with formula rookie. Doing the formula route. But I'm just going to go ahead and accept it. Pretty sure nothing won't happen. Which means if nothing don't happen I can just go to the previous contracts that I have gotten and choose where I wanna go next instead of waiting for a contract offer.

You can go back and accept any of your previous contract offers with no problem - I'm currently working through the different disciplines doing exactly that :)

On Career mode do you have to get through the Karting championship no matter what? Must say, go karts are not a personal favourite of mine and so i've found myself playing the game less than I would like because I actually really enjoy touring cars, GT3, GT4, GT1, LMP1/2 etc but karts are just......well, boring to put it mildly..

Well, you have to start at Karts if you want to win the "Zero to Hero" achievement/trophy. If you dont care about that, you can start wherever you want. But Karts only last one season anyway, if you score good results you should get contract offers from other classes after your first season. Super Karts are much more fun in career mode than 125cc Karts as well.

Guys, I'm planning to buy CARS on Steam today. Will it be okay on my PC if it carries Assetto Corsa on high graphics?

Radeon 6970
Core i5 2320 3.00 GHz
RAM 4GB

Plus, what does the Limited edition give?

LE gives you 5 more cars_ Sauber C9, BMW M1, DTM Merc C-Class and two others I cant remember right now.

Your specs seem a bit low for racing with lots of cars at least, but I m no expert so dont take my word for gospel.

On paper it should run just fine, but because Pcars is Nvidia bias you wont get the performance your specs would suggest. I run a 7950 3GB card and at 1920X1080 you will be able to run just above minimum settings. If you are after a solid 60 fps AC will look better than Pcars, even though Pcars can potentially look better, with a AMD card the performance is just terrible.

I think that patch 4.0 is going to add a lot. Here is what I wanna see in it. (Being realistic sort of):

•Chat box for online (come on now this shouldn't be hard to implement)
•No more lag when someone joins in practice or qualifying
•Make the online ID bigger online so you can see that person name above their car when you racing
•AI aggression slider
•Some more adjustments to the AI awareness
•Being able to do the 24 hours of lemans on single player mode.
•Time races for online and single player (not just career mode)
•Bug fixes

That's pretty much it when it comes to being sort of realistic with what we can see. It's a lot more I wanna see get added but I think we can probably see this stuff I just named in the next patch.

Don't you have a certain right to return your product on Steam? Don't count on me about that, better do some research. But I believe if you are not satisfied with your experience, you can return the game under certain circumstances. So just see how the game performs and if you don't like it, give it back. :)

Guys I have one question but not really want to start a new thread for it: How is the clutch implementation in the ps4? Is it better than gt6?

Even with the DS4 the game simulates the clutch and it is GORGEOUS. It's cool to drive the older racers with the H-pattern type shifters.

I drove on the California highway yesterday for the first time and it was so relaxing to just sit and drive. As a straight opened out, I'd ease on the throttle and listen to the beautiful sound system. And those tunnels! My only gripe with it is that we don't have a convertible road car in this game. The best I could come up with was an RUF, and I now want to do the Azure Coast and don't have the perfect car :(

There is the Pagani Zonda roadster thing.
