@ Dave: None of these laptops will run pCARS in a satisfying way, I m afraid. They are also not really that great value for money, tbh.
There is a member @ WMD that has a Lenovo y580, with the following specs:

i7-3610QM @ 2,3-3,3GHz / Nvidia GTX660M 2GB GDDR5 / 8GB DDR3 1600MHz / Win7 64
That thing costs roughly 1000€ and he can run pCARS on medium settings at circa 55 fps currently. I personally wouldnt go lower than that, the performance dropoff is huge afterwards, if you save 100 bucks at the wrong end, you will probably regret it later on.
If you want the game to look like on the screens and in the vids posted here, you need firepower. Unfortunately that comes at a price if you want a laptop (because compact = expensive) and with compromises. Your laptop will be big, heavy and loud. I have a XMG P502 (its the same as a Sager NP9150 for you 'murricans) with those specs:
I7-3610QM 2.3Ghz/3.3Ghz 6MB 45W Ivy Bridge // GTX 675MX 4GB GDDR5 (310.70) // 16 GB DDR3 1600Mhz // 750GB Seagate Momentus SATA-II // Win 7 Professional 64bit
Doesnt look that much different, right? So why did I pay a whopping 700 Euros more? Cause my brick of a laptop is modular and better structured, so while he is stuck with his setup, I can swap any part that I want and throw in 16 GB ram more, a faster GFX card or a SSD anytime I want.
And my performance is 70+ fps at high/ultra except reflections and shadows, which I run on medium.
So you can get a laptop that runs this game (and all other games of last and this year) quite well, but expect to pay a lot of moneys.
