So is anyone looking forward to a Mercedes-Benz SLS 6.3 AMG in pCARS?
Cause someone saw a Staro-Motors SRS 6.3 in the leaderboards today.
Don't worry about the license stuff. Mercedes was the unnamed German manufacturer of a while back that contacted SMS themselves.

Here's to hoping for an SLS AMG GT3 Race car and 190 Evo Group A... among the many other cars they could potentially bring to the table.

Maybe now Audi might be spurred on to finish up licensing their R18 and A4 DTM.

I don't know why, but I've never had an urge to drive one in a sim, or enjoyed it especially anywhere. I don't know, I'm probably just being a bimmer fanboy. I wouldn't mind having their V8SC or DTM though

Awwwwwwyeaaahhh!!! I can't chose either, but I do like BMWs more though, just like Subaru >Mitsubishi, Dodge>GM>Ford, Nissan>Toyota>Honda and Porsche>Aston Martin..... Hehe. 👍

How can we not forget Audi/RS! Well a RS4 and M3 are scared of the C63, both sedan and coupe. But AMG and Mercedes, never underestimate the ///M nor /RS, never.

With racing, Audi does win, but with road cars, I still gotta put BMW on top

but also, don't forget about Porsche. Gosh, how I wish EA didn't have a stranglehold on them, Porsches would look so pretty in pCars.

Same here, but have to admit that the 190 2.5 16s Evo II from GT4 was just lovely !!!

In game 'SRS', already looks pretty good considering it's only LODA (I think?) and it's obviously missing a few key features until the real license is completed.

Not really, no. All we know is they're planning to license as much as they possibly can before the game releases. The Mercedes deal is all but done, it's just being finalized legally and all the boring stuff AFAIK.

Pagani Huayra with the new tyre is amazing, absolutely night and day difference. It seems a little twitchy sensitive but it's really something now, REALLY good.

Pagani Huayra with the new tyre is amazing, absolutely night and day difference. It seems a little twitchy sensitive but it's really something now, REALLY good.

This is why Casey said that "it could really do with some active downforce". So the twitchy stuff is because of the lack of downforce which usually should be generated by the active flaps on the Huayra.
This also relates the SLS btw. The rear spoiler is also an active downforce generator or at least it extends and retracts (dunno about angle adjustments).

The SLS sounds just like an SLS to me, drives great too, it doesn't go in a straight line very well so it's realistic!

With the way the player is steering, physics look top notch. Visuals look ok to me though if it's running from a high-end PC.

The Focus and SLS are only LODA and not LODX. LODA is a low polygon model, while LODX is the highest polygon model. The more polygons, the more detail.

LODA is more like Shift2 level of detail.
