Nice job today everyone, the races were a lot of fun and had some close battles going on. Paulmac and I could't seem to get away from each other throughout both of the two races, nice racing Paul.👍 I was amazed how much back and forth racing and action there was especially in the second race. Race 2 heading into turn 10 I had a chance to go for the lead but I had so much speed and momentum I actually got into the back of the leader a little and then under braked and went into the grass into turn 11. It's a shame I couldn't make the pass and seen how things turned out from there but in the end I was shuffled back and ran mid pack the rest of the way. It really was a lot of fun, though, it's a shame I will miss the next two races. Good luck in those races guys.

I had a great time racing last night, first time I have enjoyed a course maker track, great job RT:tup:. My favorite section was turn nine, even though it wasnt a challenging corner, loved the way the car felt going over the crest while slightly turning(anyway you could make that corner a smidge sharper?). Race one was good, even though I forgot to change my oil and was down to 441 hp by race end. Tried to hang onto Bronco and Wardez, even thought I was closing a bit, but then a few mistakes and they were gone. Second race didn't start to well for me, decided to try and hug the inside of the first corner hoping everyone would run wide. That didnt happen, as I got stuck behind a slower driver and the whole field went by, leaving me in last, or second to last by the second corner. Seemed like there were plenty of mistakes made by everyone in that second race, and before I knew it I was right on RT's tail in 4th place, pushing as hard as I could to try and stay in his draft. Then a lapse of concentration on my part (or my girlfriend yelling at me from upstairs:sly:) and I totally blew one of the fast lefts, I wasn't even close to making the corner, not really sure what happened there. That let Paul and Mcfizzle by, luckily was able to stay in their draft and get back around them. From then on I would pull a gap, then make a mistake and let those two back in it, but managed to hold off Paul at the line for a solid 4th place finish. Not too bad considering the start I had and many mistakes I made. After this race I am really excited for the rest of the season, can't wait to come back to this track though, can't say it enough, what a great track!!

Just a few notes:

1) I totally forgot to post the results from Sundays race. Will do that tonight. Results Posted.

2) Registration for the Laguna Seca event is OPEN. You can do that at any time.

3) Saturday Official Practice for Laguna is on 2 days. (9th & 16th)

4) You can qualify at any time between now and the Laguna event.

👍

Edit: Photo Gallery updated for first race.

Am I too late to join this? I got the times mixed up so I see now I can make this series.

And what do I sign up for? Team or Driver or both?

The Team/Driver signup is basically the same thing. Do that first.

Then if you know 100% sure you are competing in the next race, register for that race as well.

I missed the first ISF series so I'll have to get in on this one. 👍

At least the replays I have saved from the first season have the old sound.

:(

This old sound?!

WATCH, you can almost still hear it over the music xD

Thought I'd post the old video of the first round of the original IS-F series here.
Be warned, it was captured with an old SD dongle and when I was recording headphones were off so I had no idea my background music was playing xD.

But it was a pretty awesome race, a classic in my eyes, between Minion and RT. Along with awesome battles all along the mid-pack with some familiar and not so familiar anymore face (this was Mule and Redreevos' first race with us btw, ahhhh good times):

And oh yeah, forgot I had Round 3 at GVS as well:

I have both of those already ;)

The GVS race is legendary, if only for the fight between me and blackice. If you watch the Fuji race from my perspective, too you can tell I was a newbie lol.

You may have to switch teams. Got 3 signed up for Vivid and you were the last one. Mind switching?

carracer didn't pick the green car? Guess I'll go to motegi then figured he'd grab that slot so I went for the pretty red one. :)

Guess that will work then... is there something I'm not seeing in the registration sheet? It only shows mcfizzle on motegi?

Hey Jason, I think I'm going to back out of this before it get's started. I've really not been too interested in racing lately so I don't think I'll be able to comit the time to this series. I'll be on the lookout for whatever comes around next though. Good luck with the series.

Cool RT, i've no problems as my motivation to race is almost as bad as when I took a break so understandably i'm not that excited to race anything atm even no ABS racing :nervous:.

I may actually delay this series by a couple weeks, just so it doesn't interfere with GTA.

If the delay happens that may be the break I need. I think the summer heat is taking it's toll on me. I don't have the energy I had over the winter. I'll hold off on making a decision.

Any objections to the 2-week delay? We can do some practice races in between for fun...

Delay works prefect for me, it will allow me to make all the races rather than missing the first two do to vacation.

I'm ok with the delay, I have been really busy with work lately and it doesn't look like it will be slowing down any for the next couple weeks so this works out well for me.

Done deal then. :)

Also, I may turn this into a "support series" for another car I want to run. So the times may shift to an hour earlier in the day. Will update when I make a decision.

I know the official races are going to be delayed until after GTA, but I should be around Sunday Night, just seeing if anyone wants to get some practice races in? Thinking we would run through all of the tracks on the calendar, and maybe add in a few other tracks. I will post if and when I open a room up, if anyone is interested in joining.

I am certainly interested.

I'm opening this up a little to try and bring in more people. No more teams, you are allowed to pick whatever colors/wheels you want that are appropriate. No neon colors, no chrome colored bodies, etc. If I don't like your color combo, I'll let you know.
