Practice Room

1472 - 6118 - 3615 - 5263 - 4971

Edit: I just left the room to Dragonwhisky, mule and timeattack. These official practice rooms are only scheduled for an hour. Left this one to those guys since it's pre-season, but from here on out they will only be open for that scheduled hour.

Thanks for the tip on the exit understeer Mule. Adjusting the LSD accel pulled another second off my best. 👍

signed up 4 the superior racing development team #47
i need a supervisor 4 my qualifying run
Msg me Lucstar88 (PSN,GTP)

Well it looks like I will be able to make this race after all. Quick ran some laps, got my PB down to a 1:41.7xx, and it felt like I left some time out there, interested to see how this race pans out.

I hate created tracks even though this one is ok. I did a little test on a crappy tune and only got 1:43.6 :indiff:.

If anyone has a setup for this I would really love if you'd share it :D.

Looks like I'll be missing the practice race. Gotta try to get dinner in before the Miata race later.

RT, Not sure if you've noticed this but, the countdown timers you've set up for this and the FMTC thread have the same values at the moment.

If the race time is correct it should open in just over 2 1/2 hours.

Yea the schedule is a bit confusing to say the least  When exactly is qualy supposed to start?

that's the real race... their's qualifying and practice
Said in the description that the lobby would be created at 3pm pacific

Shoot, I had it in my head as 5 CDT- then went back and looked at main page after CALM race and thought I must have confused it with PDT. I'm going to be cutting it close but should be able to do it.

I refer you all to this:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...b1JZQl9aak9qdHc&single=true&gid=5&output=html

The room's supposed to be open for practice in thirty minutes.

Race 1 is supposed to start in an hour and thirty minutes from now.

That sheet would be why I brought up the timers.

Yes ignore everything else and refer to this. ^^^

Practice may be cut short for qualifying. We need to be done by 5pm PST so I can get the Miata stuff going.

Roger that.

In approximately 17 minutes. Or when he lets us know he's opened the room and we can join.

Right so FMTC has been cancelled?

EDIT: Nevermind this is starting right now I see.
The countdown timer confused me it says 2 hours.

This is actually at a better time than FMTC later today, I think I'll attend this and skip FMTC, which is almost over and I have no shot at doing well in points anyway.

Folks, I spent 25 years as a high voltage electrician (Power Lineman) and can honestly say the times I've been more nervous than running in the front during the second race, can be counted on the fingers of 2 hands. A couple of those times had nothing to do with my profession either. Not sure if I'm comfortable with the rolling start since that's the first and second time I've done it in online racing but the parade lap was pretty cool. During the rolling start are we supposed to be side by side or staggered like the grid start?

Props to TA for the 10th to 1st run.

Is Cedar Creek a real world racetrack and how closely did you model it RT? I really did enjoy running it. Is it alright if I share it with others?

Good thing you changed your mind, eh?

Rolling start should be staggered.

It's not a real track, it's damn near impossible to replicate a real track with the GT5 course maker. It is ok to share it. 👍
