TFW 6000+ sim racers sign up for a 24 hr endurance race that has no night or weather.
Rain is fine but the amount of fog in game is unreal. A real life race series would never ever race with that much fog or the amount of water on track in a thunderstorm. I understand it's there because some people like to just have fun, just like snow. When it comes to actually racing though you can't really race each other in those conditions. The wet weather driving is supposed to be better so we'll see about the thunderstorm, but the fog is too much in pCars 1.Le mans 2017, the year without rain... every other year, it's there at some point.
Fuji, can be stopped due to monsoon's even.
Spa... rain at some point.
Anything UK, rain and everything in between
Nords.. do I even need to say something?
No rain? That's only for hardcore sims /sarcasm
The fog I'm talking about is in pCars 1. I have no idea how it looks in pCars 2. The heavy fog with rain or just heavy fog itself is what I'm saying is way too much to actually race in.Valid too for rain @ozwheels
I don't think thunderstorm is for racing. Well, you can, just only at snail pace. There was that F1 race, the slowest in history IIRC though And now they won't go above 2h (it's still 2h , right?)
Where did you see that much fog btw? I don't recall that and we are talking about pc2, right? I did try long ago though...
Need to try the fog again it seems but I can't ATM. Maybe there are levels of fog? And don't ask how I don't know this as it is kind of sad
We haven't even got punctures confirmed yet. *cough cough*Are we going to have the option to change individual tyres if we have a puncture or if one gets to worn
Nothing's been announced in that department yet.Is the T500 going to be supported in PCars 2?
I can't get an answer on the official forums.
It was for pcars 1. If you are concerned about PlayStation 4, could be a toss up. Pcars 1 t500 support was pretty bad.Is the T500 going to be supported in PCars 2?

Question: Well, more of a suggestion, but could be both. Was there any thought of putting an older layout of Bathurst in? I would think a layout with the FULL back straight would be crazy fun

What was bad about T500 support in PC1? I use this wheel with PC1 on PS4. I have to use the hand controller for some things, but I haven't noticed bad support. Hopefully it will be fine in PC2.
There were a lot of problems like that with all wheels when the game came out. I have a T300RS and experienced everything you described. Now that I've returned to pCars 1 after more than a year away almost all of the big wheel bugs are gone except for the vibrating white line bug and the rotation degrees being extremely high on occasion. I don't think it was T500 issues per say, just wheel issues on console in general until they were patched.I would say probably 60% of every time o would turn on pcars 1, the wheel would not work properly. And when you get to that loading screen before a race, the wheel would go full lock to the left or right, Id have to unplug it and plug back in, then the ffb would be off... I had tons of problems like that. Same with assetto on ps4. But with assetto, if I got it right at the start it would be fine until I turned the game/ps4 off.
Did you not have anything like that?
Edit: I'm not complaining lack of effort on SMS or kunos end, I am aware the wheel was never meant for ps4
The lists are innaccurate as certain cars/tracks that have been spotted in videos have not technically been announced such as FerrariIs the official Car/Track list completely accurate? I've seen footage of a certain Classic Spa but I can't seem to find it in the list
The slots for the Ferraris and whatnot still have TBA in their places .. but some track variations are missing without the TBA logo on them while they have been shown .. sounds very weird indeedThe lists are innaccurate as certain cars/tracks that have been spotted in videos have not technically been announced such as Ferrari

did you update your wheels firmware? Need a Pc for that

Will Bandai Namco have Project CARS 2 on their booth at MCM Comic Con London in October?
Erm. Mclaren 720S.@IanBell @The_American
In acknowledging your studios desire for accuracy and realism, is it possible for you to add a car to 'project cars 2' that has yet to be released or extensively tested in the real world?
an indycar fan looking forward to next season.
Great question!@IanBell I assume you and your team are very occupied finishing PCARS2 for this generation of machines and I was simply wondering if PCARS3 plans are already being worked (licensing negociations for example) on for the next generation of consoles? Does one team stay for development of PCARS2 while others are ready to move on? I image it works the same as with PCARS -> PCARS2 or is it different?
Question is simply out of interest.
* probably won't get an answer but heck at least I can try
Until a next-generation console is officially announced, I very much doubt you will hear official word from any developer that they are working with one@IanBell I assume you and your team are very occupied finishing PCARS2 for this generation of machines and I was simply wondering if PCARS3 plans are already being worked (licensing negociations for example) on for the next generation of consoles?
