for the love of god, a button to activate and deactivate the ghost
A theater where we can see our photos and replays, with an option to edit then or pass beetwen them
an option to sort items of the showcase, most popular, new, most shared
an option of "wide body" to find styles in the showcase
You can turn it off from the menu and you can select the demonstration ghost and set an interval for it which is nice since having it right on top of you isn't very instructive. Are you asking for a single button toggle? All the buttons are spoken for I think...

game has 10 menus and music changes every time you enter and exit one, why oh why who thought it would be ok, i had to disable it completely because after 80 hours it gets extremely annoying
just make a playlist of relaxing music for menus and let it play for pits sake, instead you get playlist for races where music is no go for me, otherwise you can't hear engine and tires, this is not an nfs fml

More streamlined UI that cuts out the glut of needless clicking through pages/screens every time you enter/back out of, say, World Circuit. At least give us the option to have the credit/miles driven screen disabled; removing that one screen would make it seem much smoother.

A way to switch cars in the menu for a given track without having to back out (through all those screens, lol) and go to the garage.
The events seem to have it but unless I'm just blind (very possible...) there's no way to quickly change cars during time trials, etc, in Circuit Experience (I think that's the name)

Along that same vein, the ability to purchase mods while in car settings. If not parts like turbo's, etc at least let us purchase tires... I always seem to get into a race and realize I forgot to buy intermediates/rain tires for the vehicle I'm in, so it's back through all the pop-ups to the tuning shop. Or if I'm just hot lapping different cars I like to see the difference in time with different tires, so a way to purchase them in the settings without needing to back out to the garage would incentivize me to engage with that content far longer.

These should all be pretty easy to implement I'd think, but barring those small gripes I think the QoL of the game is fine, at least of "small" issues. There are other major issues (as I see them) that I could rant about, but this doesn't seem the thread for that.

Ability to search the decals shared by the community in GT Sport, not only the ones uploaded in GT7.
They have the same specs, you can use them in GT7 if you put a GT Sport created and shared livery in the same car, so why isn't possible?
They intend to duplicate the shared decals database? Use more cloud storage that really don't need to?

If you're going to show wind speed do it in mph not feet per second.

Don't make the headlights flash when traction control kicks in. Sometimes I'm trying to see, dude. 😳

Ft/s seems to be an international unit of measurement according to quick google searches. PD probably decided to use this because of that reason. I do agree with seeing it in MPH though. Should be some sort of option to switch between them, but we all know asking for options seems too much for PD at times.

I HATE THIS.

GT sport had universal music across the menus with the exception of the GT mode screen which had the Remixed GT2 music . Aside from this, The music only changed in pre race menu's and in the race .

GT7 has :
Map music that carries over into the world circuits , photo mode , and multiplayer modes .
The following menus have their own music :
Garage
Missions
Tunning garage
GT auto
Licence test
Brand Central
Legends dealership
Cafe

I'm fine with this , all they need to do is have the current song FINISH playing before the music for those sections pops up . it's annoying to have songs switch in and out of menus .

Oh and whoever designed GT auto needs fired . Why does the game back you out to the damn world screen . Wide body should also be in the custom section and not maintnence section as it's own button and show you a much larger screen.

On second thought, ignore the whole levels thing , make it just one pavilion and switch floors with R1 /L1 .

I’ve been playing the game hudless which has been mostly great, but it would be nice if we could use the MFD without having to temporarily re-enable the HUD… just have the HUD temporarily fade in while using MFD buttons then fade back out.

The ability to save decals directly from the livery editor "decals" menu rather than having to use the search function.

Filters for the car selection screens rather than just sorting.

Some way of easily finding all - for example - WTC800 events without having to inspect each location on three separate maps.

Tuning shop could show the effect of upgrades on the right of the screen when they're simply highlighted rather than having to actually select them.

Split times during licence tests/circuit experience etc.

I want the ability to customize my HUD. I want the radar on and possibly the fuel setting depending on the race, and I want them on both at the same time. Other than that, I want everything else on the bottom off. I don't need the tach, speedo, or anything else when I am in cockpit view. I hate how it's all or nothing.

The only ones I want are weather, track map, traction control and brake balance. Radar and times sheet are useless to me.

Would like to know the PP before buying a Legacy car.

A weather report, or at least a view of the radar before starting a race and the ability to change out tires before starting the race.

Qualifying before the race.

Wish I could see the cockpit of a car before I buy it. Some gauge layouts are much better than others, IMO. Would be nice to see before dropping hard earned credits. The only way I know how to do this is if (and that's a big if) that car is in a race, you can see the interior during the replay.

Better yet, let me test drive something before I buy it. Have it in its OEM condition and pick a test track (I don't even care which, just not an oval). I just bought the Viper GT3 and don't like it very much... yet anyway. Wish I didn't buy it... I would've at some point but not when I did.

Let me sell, or get rid of cars I will never use. Seeing the VW bus in my garage makes my head hurt.

Some cars in some conditions it's impossible to see the gauges when it's dark/cloudy. It's not dark enough for the headlights (according to the computer) but I can't see the gauges.

Too much 'talking' in this game. I about broke my X button during the cafe races.

This one is really reaching: Legend cars could have a down payment option. Can't afford that 18.5 mil McLaren like 99.999% of players? Offer a 25% down payment (~4.6 mil in this case). You wouldn't get the car at that point and still owe the balance, but the car would then be available indefinitely and you wouldn't have to worry about trying to get all the credits within a week.

How about credits/mile? Like, if I want to do some TTing or practicing it would be cool to get something as an incentive. Like, if I want to do three laps around the Ring by myself because it's fun or to practice, throw me a bone. 100 cr per mile would be like 4500 for three laps. People would take advantage of this by rubberbanding around ovals so maybe omit them but with credits being so hard to come by, help me make my practice sessions worth something!

There are probably more I am not thinking of at the moment.

Can we get that "onboard camera mic position" feature back from GT6? I love using a mix between hood/bonnet view and the cockpit view but all the cars sound best when in chase cam. I can't get myself accustomed to chase cam though, it just feels wrong to me.

Interesting. Okay, yea, I like all of those too. But the radar is the main one I use since I can't look around my car while driving and usually can't see the mirrors either. If I am near other cars, I want to know exactly where they are. If I'm alone or away from other cars, it's fuel/weather.

The ability to sell cars, in keeping with real world dynamic and car culture.
Prices of parts / tyres to be more realistic. Money issues clearly a big deal right now!
Also: Show the weather forecast for the event and let you buy the necessary tyres in the race without having to back all the way out.
Better roulette system.
Be able to see your car when choosing what colour to to buy.
Clear distinction of what part of the rim can be painted, some rims with black and silver paint the whole rim. Let us just paint the spokes / hub on wheels.
Ability to change current car from top ribbon.
Fix in-game music playing the same few songs over and over.
Option to turn off specific menu music and don't have the track change every time you switch a menu.

As they're a visual upgrade, letting us see what the exhaust looked like when fitted to the car would be handy. Or add custom tips into GT Auto that coincide with which level of exhaust you go for.
