Here's literally everything I will suggest in one complete package:

Economy:

  • All events’ credits rewards were increased by 500%.
  • There will also be a 50% credits bonus for running the fastest lap in a race. In theory, it is possible to earn double credits for running a clean race with the fastest lap.
  • Prizes from roulette tickets are no longer rigged and will have a more unpredictable outcome. Furthermore, roulette tickets will no longer expire.
  • The Daily Workout has been re-adjusted to ensure that roulette tickets are awarded every 42.2km (26mi), instead of just once a day.
  • The Daily Log-in bonus returns. 110% extra credits will be awarded for the first day, followed by 125% on the second, 150% on the third, 175% on the fourth and 200% for the fifth and onward.
  • It is now possible to sell cars. Cars are sold from 50% of their original resale value, plus the value of any performance upgrades and visual customization items.
  • Credits limit has increased to Cr. 999,999,999.

A new pavilion has been added to the Gran Turismo island called “Auction”, which allows players to buy and sell their vehicles in an auction. This feature requires an online connection.

*Players will be refunded from any microtransactions they have purchased and their funds will be returned to their PlayStation wallet, following the phasing out of in-game currency to be purchased from the PS Store.

Car Collecting:

  • The “brand invite system” in Brand Central, required to purchase hypercars and other such premium, high-end models, has been removed, therefore making all cars in Brand Central totally on demand.
  • The Legendary Car Dealership’s mechanics have been redesigned to work similarly to Brand Central, where all classic vehicles are sorted by manufacturer and can be bought on demand. Some models, however, will be sold out, and you will need to reserve the car before it’s available again. You will be notified when it’s available for purchase again.
  • The 1,000-car garage limit has been increased to an unlimited number of cars.
  • The Collector Level has increased from 50 to 100.

Gameplay:

Arcade Modes (Arcade Race, Time Trial, Custom Race, 2-Player Battle)

Car Selection:

All the cars in the game (all current cars and future cars added as DLC from updates) are available as rental cars in Arcade Races, Time Trials, Custom Races and 2-Player Battles. There are two options: Garage Cars and Rental Cars. Selecting "Rental Cars" will bring up a list of all the cars in the game, and you can use any car you want for free, but you are bound by limitations whilst driving them, such as:

  • Only default, car-specific colors, variations and liveries can be used. These cars cannot be customized and/or upgraded, and only car-specific set-up tuning, based on the car's default set-up, is possible wherever available. All tire compounds are freely available, however.
  • Credits and Daily Workout progress will not be earned whilst driving a rental car.
  • These cars only remain in the Arcade Modes; they can't be used in the Campaign unless they are bought. As stated above, players can still use cars from their Garage in the Arcade Modes.

Time Trial:

Players can now load ghosts from a best lap replay.

Lap time delta has be included after one lap, and when ghosts have been loaded.

The ability to use nitrous (once equipped) and other such overtaking systems have been enabled.

Custom Race:

Eliminator has been added as a mode in Custom Races, with two options: "Lap Eliminator" and "Timed Eliminator".

The lap count is determined by the number of opponents selected. Since the maximum number of AI cars on a track would be 20, a 20-car grid would mean a 19-lap eliminator. A time based eliminator would mean after the time expires, the driver in last place is eliminated.

"Select From Garage" is changed to "Select Cars Individually", reflecting the fact that all the cars in the game are available as rental cars in the Arcade Modes, allowing players to have greater freedom of choosing your opponents' cars, with two options: "Change Car (Garage)" and "Change Car (Rental Cars)". Players will still have the option to rename them and assign their nationalities as well.

The number of characters allowed for naming individual opponents has been increased from 16 to 25.

Extra options should also include the same settings regarding to car restrictions and penalty settings from online lobbies.

Custom Championships:

A new pavilion has been added to the Gran Turismo island, called “Custom Championships”. It allows players to create, race, edit and share personalized championships using the power of Custom Races.

Offline functionality:

The entire game has now been fully enabled to play and save offline.

The following features will still need online connections for their functionality:

  • Buying and selling of cars in the Auction mode
  • Posting, interacting, sharing and downloading of content in Showcase mode
  • Uploading content (liveries, custom championships)
  • Multiplayer modes such as online lobbies, Meeting Places and Sport mode (PS Plus required)
  • Watching related videos and visiting the official sites of manufacturers in Brand Central

Most people seem to be listing features, but I'll stick to actual QOL things:

  • Not having to click fifteen times after the end of a race to get back to the world map
  • Remove the roulette thing, just give me the lowest possible price, that you are going to give me anyway.
  • Ability to buy tyres from the car setup page
  • Store TCS setting for each car separately
  • Filter cars by drivetrain in the garage
  • List of all eligible cars for a race, not from your garage, but the cars available for purchase

A "track limit" overlay option similar to the braking zone overlay. Not only could I more easily figure out why I'm losing clean racing bonuses easier I could also improve my times because aliens use every last inch of the track setting their times. Maybe it could even flash if you exceed it.

when timetrialing and you abort a lap it would be nice if it kept fully completed lap times it’s annoying not having the delta of the time you’re trying to beat

Temp reading. I mean, they put in wind speed. Um, okay... thanks? How about the temprature? Night race... is it 50F or 80F? Makes a difference for the tires.
Tire temperature (or an indication of tyre grip) and indication of track grip level. They have the option to set different track grip levels why not show them.

More options for cockpit cam. FOV setting would be awesome but at least give us more room to move the camera.

I would like a complete overview menu where all telemetry can be displayed.
air temp
asphalt temp
tire temp
Oil & water temperature
oil pressure
tire air pressure

and everything else that you can only wish for and imagine and which is obviously also simulated.

A visual aid to the slipstream and turbulence ectr would also be nice to see. Of course it doesn't exist in real life either, but if it's already simulated, then it should also be possible to see it.
After all, there are no interactive braking areas in real life.

And very important... I would like to be able to hide the list of drivers on the left edge of the screen during the race.

More options for the hud would be very welcome as well. I’d like to keep the drivers list but reduce the font so I can see all the drivers and make it less intrusive.

The option to short by "wide body" when searsh styles in exhibition
I believe you can include wide body in the text to search for them. I’m not sure if it searches only for the description or not but it’s a way to circumvent that.

I think only search by tags. and most of the stytles haven´t description

A more predictable way to get invitations to buy cars, or remove the invitations altogether and just be able to buy the cars.

Maybe the invite would simply let you into the VIP section and you could choose fron any invite only car but it would be a one use token.

What's the evidence that those are all simulated? I wouldn't assume any of them are.

No update this week?
Seems for me, they are working at anything bigger, maybe the first content update conning soon..

Maybe indicate if it will rain before a race, so we don't have to second guess?
Yeah, something like GP4 did

grand-prix-4-5.jpg

Even if you zoom the weather out all the way it won't always show coming rain.
The question from that then is that they have implemented a forecast so is it working as expected or buggy?

Realistically it shouldn't be exact as that would take out the guessing and the success/failure of a strategy call. For example, if you knew for certain it was going to rain on lap 3 then everyone would just plan to pit at that time.

It should try to mimic real life, the forecast should work as a weather forecast does (Sometimes it's wrong or sometimes it's slower/faster than expected) and you look at the clouds and make a call.

People may anticipate and pit early or the opposite, think it will hold off and pit late. Either way it's a call that makes the strategy exciting.
That's how I would love to see dynamic weather implemented in GT7
