Saw this VT Commodore when I was out and about today, red, with (botchy patchy spray painted) matt black underneith, with a chrome band seperating the two colours...along with "tint" on the rear lights. It was absolutely awful...heres a pic!

Why oh why do people do this :yuck:

When done correctly, big rims are allright.👍

No... not really... still looks like a bad Saturday Morning Cartoon.

The sad thing is... the rest of the car looks really good.

Ewww... felt on the dash... oh... you were talking about the Commodore? (just kidding... honestly)

That is a truly bizarre mix of bling and rat-rodding...

HAHA give me a break I was in my Hiace work van :) In saying that the dash in my GT-Four is doing the classic sun warp around the vents, so it's getting a dash mat too...looks better than a damaged dash :) (If you get a qood quality one) Adds weight though haha

Yeah... damaged vinyl really sucks... is the foam cracking or is it just surface damage?

Not following all posts here, but some people with strange ideas.

I got some surprises seeing these:

Is this supposed to be a supercharged VW Golf???

Stupid little wing on an Audi A6, I agree the normal round back is already special, but that wing is uncalled for:

That's a stock rear wing. You may not like it, but it's not all that questionable.

The hood scoop on a MK2 Golf, on the other hand....

;)

Its lifted and cracked. I saw it when I bought it, and I was pretty dissapointed but bought anyway, its something that can get covered up at least. Its what you get in a 1990 car in sunny Queensland I suppose :(

^ I actually like the Euro-spec of that A6 licence plate frame design. Whats questionable was the US-version:

-> As evidenced, the US-license plate perfectly fit under the stock Euro-spec:

^ What a complete waste of a good sedan.

^ Complete waste of a nice Opel hatch, saw the Tigra when it was new, I liked it.

As soon as you lift your car or you need to rub in order to fit your rims, it's too much, and I don't get why they are ''advertising'' soft drinks, M&M and Wal Mart. Anyway I think it's funny and it will probably fade out, hopefully.

.... Nope :sly: Especially not when they ruin a car with potential to look good.

Not sure if this has been done yet buuuut....

I actualy like this one but I don't think it'll fade has'nt been long enough
for it to fade.

On the A6, even if it was an official option, it does not add to the car for me.

Yes the G60 was/is a good car, no silly thingy on the hood though.

That Nissan 300ZX does not need these silly lambo doors.

I found on the net these cars coming to a classical car meet, I would not be amused as organiser, second one does not seem like an original racing team's colours to me either:

the "tasteless big rims" pic is on a first or second gen Chevy Caprice (obviously a convertable)...and the stock wheels on those things, because of the sheer size of the car (a true american "land yacht") look like the wheels on a Subaru 360, a first gen Prius, or an old japanese K car

^ Diamonds are forever... vomit is only temporary.

Saw this one today - the Minnie Mouse decal on the numberplate was it's best feature, I think...

Cars cant speak for themselves (unfortunately)
... for once, i'd like to hear one of those cars' owner speak about their cars...
... how much they like it...

it might help us answer the question of their questionable tastes...

i dont know about you, but those huge rims that would fit perfectly on a horse carriage, or those flashy design... seems way too tacky for me... i dont know how anybody can just put them on, and say WOW ?!!

What would Picasso say?

that pontiac's color is to puke for already... the rims are .... a waste of money...

That pontiac was'nt bad we've seen worse but remember it's their car
and their choice to do these things not ours. They love their car just as much as we
love ours. As for the big rims thing I like it on most old cars but not many.

I agree, they're such poor, misunderstood people... (morons, is the term I prefer)

Anyway, back to humiliating people with no taste.

Not entirely sure what this Saxo owner was thinking, but perhaps they weren't sure either which is how they ended up with this:

I just love the drainpipe exhaust, and that's some impressive green pinstriping that manages to not line up in the slightest, and how the hatchback manages to avoid the purple the rest of the car is blessed with. And how the spoiler, and I use that term literally, manages to avoid paint altogether.

The wheels too, are a work of art. And by art I mean, what Van Gogh used to leave in the loo before commencing work on a proper painting.

My reaction........

Got to love feral's with cash to blow on matchbox cars like this, I wonder how many baby mama's this guy has to pay for it. :sly:

Not questionable whatsoever. Gotta take the gear to the track somehow since driving the GT3 the whole way there is way more fun than a plasticky pickup hauler.

Curious to see how they worked around the exhaust for the hitch. The Lotus guys who homebrewed the same thing didn't have to deal with low exhaust exits like that.
