Staff Emeritus is given when a staff member still has staff controls but is no longer active as much as before.

Can you mods see (check out) how many PM's a member has send? Is it also possible for the GTP staff to check to whom a member has send PM's?

I'm almost certain that you can' read these PM but I wonder if you (mods super or not) can check how many pm's somebody wrote and to whom.

I would assume that, on any website, at least one member of staff can check and read the PMs of all members. That'd be the site owner.

Now, whether he does or not - and whether he gives that ability to other members of staff - is entirely at the fiat of the site owner. He may retain that ability for himself but never use it, he may use it when there is a question over someone's conduct or to prevent the PM system being used for activities he does not wish to take place using his site as a conduit, he may pass the ability on to administrators so that they can do the same or he might pass it on to all mods if he's not that bothered about member privacy.

On GTPlanet, I cannot read or see your PMs unless you send them to me. Whether the Admins can or not is a matter for them to answer. I would assume that Jordan can, but I wouldn't presume to say whether he does (and in what circumstances) or not.

Hey guys I'm new at this site, but I am an admin of the site called http://pbracing.2ya.com but now fo rosme reason when u type it in the browser u cant go to it, it just "page cannot be displayed" If you do not believe that i am admin there email ocpaintballa18@yahoo.com he was the orignial admin of the site that made me admin. If I can't go to that site nemore, then I still want to have an administrator position at someplace. I think that these forums are as good or better than the ones at http://pbracing.2ya.com and this is the site that I have chosen to come to if I were to be an admin. Most of these forum sites suck really badly and have LOTS of advertisements. This site is very good- LITTLE advertisements, good forum style, and good skin color and type. I know how to work all the admin options if they are the same. Do you have admin CP on this forum? Cuz that's wot im used to on how to edit, add, move, create forums and ban, mod, and do dif. things to members as well as creating filters, excellent forum anems and title appearances. Email me with the following things: tell me if I may bceome an admin. and if so. tell me when my admin status is up and running. and if so tell me wot the editing (program-using) program is (like the admin CP). No, said member gave his password away to loser 15 year old member who banned everybody who he felt had slighted him.

I was one of the people banned, luckily Jordan reversed it the same day.

I was concerned that a high-profile member might make for a high-profile target - and that I might accidentally become a high-profile moderator. Moderators should help a site run in a manner that no-one notices (like referees should help a football game run and not be noticed - you never see a good referee in a football game).

I think it worked though.
