Just realized Ive got a big meeting at work on Friday the 13th. So much for a shot at RacerX... I will be very interested to see who gets this spot.

Pliny might be tougher to find in the San Diego area, since Russian River is based up here in NorCal. They have lots of their own craft breweries in that area, and I've found most of the places down there like to keep it local.

There's a Yard House in downtown SD about 7 blocks from the Hard Rock Hotel. That's your best bet in on a diverse tap row in that area.

Shoot me a PM if you want a more indepth view of the San Diego craft bee landscape. ;)

BTW - Good luck to all the top 32, and to those showing up for the wild card. 👍

If only I was fast enough I would have brought some down for you. Pliny is one of the joys of living in NorCal. Get in touch and I am sure I can help get you some! Especially if you can track down some Hopslam.

I highly doubt it'll be the Top Gear track. They're not going to release their choice until the day of the competition.
 
I DID IT!!!!! Just bought my ticket thanks to some awesome friends and some gullible classmates buying my textbooks and car parts :P

If racer x is anything like the wildcard in the uk, I wouldn't bother practising online with people.. Because when I did it, it was offline and just a 3 lap time trail.. So you want to make sure your use to racing with offline physics and alone..

I'll be there early.. I'm actually staying at the Hard Rock, so is just matter of waking up early and go downstairs :P
 
Does Wardez have a final with the GTP members that are going?
I'm pretty sure there are more people going from this community.
GT Acedemy Facebook event has over 100 people comfirming on going.
