Hopefully, the Tokyo Game Show will reveal the weather system and also all of the other as-of-yet unidentified/unknown features!
That same guy said the game is out November 2nd though....

Rain WILL be included in GT5.
Maybe in all of the info overload from Gamescon...this image was overlooked. If you look on the right hand side where it says "Weather", you can see a cloud with rain falling from it. Obviously, this is a raincloud.
This is an image from the Course Maker. But if there is rain in the course maker, then there will be in the tracks that already exist. http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/news/d5297p3.html
Make sure you scroll halfway down the page and click on the Course Maker picture on the right hand side.
Overlooked? on GTP? something on the Official site?
I think the debate continues because Kaz said (insert source) something like "weather and day cycles wont be available on all circuits" and we have been seeing only Premium Circuits.
So i guess the theory is that only Premium Circuits will have the weather\day cycles.
I posted this as well but it was as you put it overlooked.
lol, I don't know about Premium Circuits.. I just hope they are all at least up to the standard of Prologue..
If you look at gameplay menus from the GC\E3 demos you can see all the circuits are marked Premium...
GT5P's cars are all premium, presumably the circuits are too.
These "non-premium" circuits have yet to be seen but my guess is that the majority of them are returning GT4 circuits in HD. Still yet to be seen. But if they were all the same quality they wouldnt be labeled Premium...

You know what's funny? Rain just like damage is something people usually scream for, much like brake locking, but when it comes to play the game, they usually drive with sunny weather, turn damage off and turn ABS on - I know I do in PC games
I have some games that have rain and such, but I never race in the rain, ever
In real life, if people have control over the weather, they want it to be sunny 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, but we can't, but at least we can in a game

Yes, I did as well in GTR2, mainly because I was using the keyboard! But with GT5 physics (and more tame vehicles) and a steering wheel, what used to be a chore and unplayable now becomes a new way to play the game, driving more conservatively, avoiding hydro-planing etc..
Don't say that, I found driving on the limit in the GT5 Time trial considerable harder than in GTR Evolution, and it felt more complex. The physics in GTR games are pretty simple.
And that's with slick tyres on a dry flat track with a relatively underpowered car and easy to drive FR car. Add wet tyres, water on an uneven road and maybe wind and things will change in a hurry...

Yesterday F1 race at Spa showed why we need to have dynamic weather.
And Spa
Yeah, definitely, but we could do without some of the driver traits in GT5's AI

dynamic weather is a given. Even if its not on all tracks. But its sure going to be fun taking a tvr speed 12 with no assists on a wet track. Will it ever get traction?
