Günther Ahrens and Albrecht W. Mantzel designed a record-breaking car on the basis of the 3=6, incorporating an extremely lightweight plastic body built at Dannenhauer & Stauss in Stuttgart, Germany."

Looks might not be on its side, but when the Fighter T first went into production it was more powerful than a Bugatti Veyron. It is claimed only around 13 Fighters were ever made, making it one of the rarest production cars in existence.

Additional Information: The sixth generation Ford Mustang was first introduced in 2013 and first went on sale in late 2014. It is the first Mustang to be officially sold by Ford worldwide and available in both left and right hand drive configurations. It is also the first Mustang to be available with Ecoboost technology which gives the base model an average fuel economy of 30MPG. The Mustang is also very affordable, with the Ecoboost Mustang costing just over $20,000 and the V8 costing $35,000. The new Mustang is the first to use fully independent rear suspension on all models. To celebrate 50 years of the Mustang, Ford took a 2015 Mustang convertible and dissasembled it at the bottom of the Empire State Building and rebuilt it on the roof. The 2015 Ford Mustang has also appeared in numerous video games including Need For Speed Rivals, The Crew and Forza Horizon 2.
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/gtp-cool-wall-1971-1974-amc-javelin.334080/It's almost pointless to nominate another Mustang, because many people are going to rate the car poorly because of how many Mustangs have been nominated already (probably more than any other car), and not because of the actual coolness of the car.
I really believe that shouldn't affect a car's coolness in any way at all. Just because it's a popular car that everyone knows and everyone has doesn't mean it isn't a cool car. It's basically another way of saying "I'm sick of Mustangs because everyone has them. Uncool." This isn't an I'm sick of this car wall. It's a cool wall.
Anyways, here is my next nomination:
1971-74 AMC Javelin
View attachment 429204
Body style: 2 door hardtop
Layout: front engine, rear wheel drive

Power output: 135 hp (232 ci), 150 hp (258 ci), 200 hp (282 ci), 210 hp (304 ci), 245hp (360 ci), 335 hp (401 ci)
Torque: unknown
Weight: 2,875 lb (1,304.1 kg) - 3,184 lb (1,444.2 kg)
Transmissions: 3 speed manual, 4 speed manual, 3 speed automatic, 3-speed “Torque-Command” on console
Additional Information: The AMC Javelin was introduced on August 22, 1967, for the 1968 model year to compete with the Mustang and the Camaro. Even though it never sold as many units as it's competitors, it was marketed worldwide unlike the Mustang and Camaro. The 71-74 was the second, and last generation of the Javelin.

Missing drivetrain. My final race car nomination:
1997-1999 Nissan Primera GT BTCC
Racing Class: British Touring Car Championship
Engine: SR20DE 2.0 Straight 4
Power Output: 320HP @ 8,300rpm
Torque: 195 ft-lbs @ 8,000rpm
Weight: 975 kg
Transmission: Xtrac 6 speed manual sequential
Additional Information: Nissan first entered the original Primera in the BTCC in 1991 but withdrew in 1994. In 1996 Nissan backed Andy Rouse Engineering with no success. In order to have any chance of beating the dominating Renault Laguna, Nissan contracted Ray Mallock Limited to build new Primera touring cars from the ground up. After building the Primera GT for the 1997 season, Nissan supplied the SR20DE Straight 4 engine, now producing 320HP, and hired David Leslie and Anthony Reid as the drivers. The Primera finishied 5th on the Manufacturer and Team championships in 1997. In 1998 an improved Primera won 9 out of 26 races and won the Manufacturer's title. Anthony Reid fell short of the Driver's title, despite winning 7 races, losing to the more consistent Rickard Rydell in the Volvo S40. In 1999 Reid left Nissan to drive for Ford so Nissan hired Laurent Aiello, who had just won the 24 Hours of LeMans in 1998 for Porsche. In 1999 Nissan won 13 out of 26 races and Aiello took the Driver's championship with 10 victories and Nissan again got the manufacturers title. Nissan also provided equipment and support to Team Dynamics and Matt Neal, who won the independent cup and was the first to win a BTCC outright, earning him a £250,000 bonus.
FixedMissing drivetrain.

Changed to Front Wheel Drive.I believe the Primera BTCC was FWD, not RWD.

Named Sebring to commemorate their victory of the Sebring 12 hours in 1957 (courtesy of Juan Manuel Fangio, Jean Behra, Harry Schell and Stirling Moss). Was facelifted in 1965, the facelift is known as the Series II. Top speed for the Series I was 137 mph (220 km/h) and it did 0 - 60 in 8.5 seconds. A few Series Is came with the 3.7 litre version Tipo AM106 straight six that would go on to power the Series II cars, making about 250 HP. Originally priced at about $ 12,000 - $ 13,000 but today, some examples have been auctioned off for prices in excess of $ 300,000.

Additional Info: Designed after Chevrolet pickups of the 40s-50s, the SSR (Super Sports Roadster) behaved more like a muscle car than a truck. The bed space wasn't much, due to the folding hardtop, and was only able to tow about 2,500 lbs. However, this was balanced out with a 7.7 second 0-60 time, thanks to sharing an engine with the Corvette and the Pontiac GTO.

Additional Information:
- Lotus Cars founder Colin Chapman uses this car to define his obsession with lightweight cars: "Simplify, then add lightness."
- Praised for it's handling, thanks to its excellent suspension work and mid-engine layout. This is Lotus we're talking about here.
- People were known to be stuck inside these: an issue all small Lotus' back in the day carry alongside average build quality. It's value as an antique today is reduced mainly because most people today, as with back in the day, will have a hard time fitting into it.
- The name "Europa" was made as a reference on how Lotus planned to sell this car only in the UK and nearby neighboring Europe countries. In Germany, however, it was called "Europe" due to Volkswagen owning the name's rights. The Twin-cam and Special models made it to the US, albeit in a limited quantity.
- Made as a successor to the Lotus 7. Succeeded and easily overshadowed by the more luxurious Lotus Esprit.
