^Instant cool. Would be cooler with a V8 though :sly:

For some reason that really catches my eye. I like it.

Its a mix of '70s Mopar, Ford Maverick sedan and maybe Pontiac. Neat car.

^That's an instant S-Z.

Also with regards to Cedric/Gloria and V8, the modern day version's Infiniti brethren has a V8 :3 but it ain't half as classy:

Perhaps I'm being unclear. That rule was bought in because people were discussing the cars being nominated and drowning out the whole thread, making it harder for BK Glover to sort through the nominations and also causing more than a few arguments. It was decided that discussion of the cars nominated should be limited to the polling threads themselves and not allowed into the nomination thread.

Fair enough 👍

I might be able to take this over. I'm just starting university, and I'm not sure what my workload will be like. But I'll PM you in about two weeks if I can do it. :)

I've wanted to do this ever since Tornado left it back in '09.

I've also considered taking it over, but I'm not sure I could handle it. Glad there is still interest though.

TBH, I'm not sure I could handle it either, but it's better to give it a shot now than see it fall, and no one else had come forward when I PMed BKGlover. Just gotta PM Jordan, then get BK to do the same, and it'll be changing hands soon.

Nice to see I won't have to look far for a backup curator in case I need one though.

How hard can this be in all seriousness. It looks like once you get the infrastructure in place, there is minimal work. From what I've seen, this is about it

Make a thread taking admissions, subscribe to it, and check back at new posts whenever and add them to the OP.
Make a results thread, edit it whenever a poll ends.
Make a new thread every x days for each new subject, do minimal research for specs & a good picture, submit your vote, come back in a week to record results.

It's harder than you think, I can assure you.

How so? What's different and therefore harder than what I just suggested which at most would take an hour or so a week? Not trying to insult anybody, I'm just wondering where the difficulty is added?

We all have lives outside of the Internet and judging by the amount of people who've done it in the past, myself included, you just run out of time. You also tend to have your tolerance level for stupidity wear out pretty quick too and it stops being fun.

I thought we agreed to not discuss the individual nominations until the thread specifically for them came along?

I thought nominations were closed?

EDIT:

In that case here is mine.
