Real World Tracks

GT5 Prologue had a weather ticker specific to locations of famous tracks (mainly Europe). GT5 came out and it gave us Monza, and of course
this month, we will finally have Spa Francorchamps! The following list is the rest of the tracks seen on that weather ticker:
Monza (Italy) - Check!
Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) - Check!
Silverstone (UK) - this one next? :scared:
Brands-Hatch (UK)
Zolder (Belgium)
Imola (Italy)
Shanghai (China)
Hockenheim (Germany)
Magny-Cours (France)
Estoril (Portugal)
Jerez (Spain)

Real life tracks in past iteration not in GT5:
Twin Ring Motegi (Japan)
Infineon Raceway (US)

Other tracks most likely to be included due to high demand and questionable leaked evidence:
Pikes Peak (US)
Mt. Panorama (Australia)

Hopefully, we'll see a trend with regular DLC packs. No 1 year waits! ....so, which is next? What are your comments about the tracks above?

I know it's not on those lists but I'd friggin' LOVE to have Mount Panorama. C'mon, PD it's got enough history and the Bathurst 1000 would make a great addition to the endurance race series as well as maybe a V8 Supercar series.
I'm surprised they didn't do like a "Belgium Track Pack" thingy w/Zolder and Spa together. Don't get me wrong bros, this new Kart Space thing looks super rad but that track and Spa look weird together in a Pack.

How can they not have Panorama in there, Bathurst is an amazing track and should be the next priority by PD.

, we think alike.

I would like to see more day/night cycles in the tracks we already have. Especially the city tracks like, tokyo route, madrid, rome etc.

HAHA  that's so awesome. Such good timing, too. :dopey:

EDIT: Oops! I quoted myself by mistake. Anyways, yeah. PD, why have sleep-inducing tracks like Fuji and not have "espresso"-esque (?? lol) courses like Bathurst?

Interesting that it was never in the weather feed. But I also think this must be right up there with the next 1 - 2 tracks they plan on doing.

I also hope that all new tracks have a full bump map modelled.

Bathurst in GT:tup:👍👍

A1 ring or these days it is called red bull ring will be nice too. Abu Dhabi GP track comes to mind as well.

I do not know why they are not re doing the tracks from GT4 :ouch: Also I do not mind PD custom made tracks. I do not think they will do tracks because then what about next GT game.

I am thinking that Pikes Peak can't be too far off either.

Yes, basing on past evidence like the quote from red bull and screenshots from a PD workers computer screen.

Other possible famous tracks:
Mt. Panorama/Bathurst (Australia)

How about street tracks? One of my favorites:
Macau GP (Macau/China)

Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Mt Panorama.
Sebring International Raceway.
Bristol Speedway (if that's the short NASCAR track?)

Apart from Marina Bay I'd rather not have any F1 tracks for DLC as I can drive them on F1 2011 whenever I like, some former F1 tracks would be ok though but PD would be better looking past the obvious in my opinion.

If they released Imola, Bristol Speedway and Bathurst my life would be complete, but that's unlikely :P My bet is they release another set of packs at christmas, but with 2 'real' circuits instead of one and a kart track.

Hey look it's another wishlist!

That's what I was thinking. I don't think the thread creator intended it to be a wishlist... or maybe he did.

Interesting on the weather ticker thing, I never noticed! It would be pretty cool if that's how PD will base their future real world tracks off of. Silverstone and Brands Hatch next? Can't wait!

- Imola, Ita

To the original point in Masi_23 post about GT5P's weather ticker...

If I remeber right, I think it also included weather/time at Sonoma. Which is home to Infineon Raceway. I remeber as I checked it out at the time as I wanted to see what track was there.

So maybe you might want to move Infineon Raceway to the top batch of tracks as it might have been a clue

EDIT: Should have said I would like Silverstone (bridge version), Brands Hatch, Imola, Bathurst, Hockenheim (pre 2001), Bathurst and Istanbul Park (only because of Turn 8)

Albert Park, Hongaroring, Singapore, Abu-dhabi, Interlagos, Mt Panorama, Adelaide are all great

But Silverstone is highly overated. i don't like it...:dunce:

Test track will be the next DLC track i think, with hopefully a working timing system and tree for drag racing. But, if this is how we're gonna get tracks, i.e. 1 or 2 at a time for 5$ a pop. PD can pound salt.
