I'm going the other way. I fancy adding the new GT livery to the old GT40 in the game.
 
Apparently Brian Ekberg said that there would be no car pack in June. Maybe due to the fact that they gave as two expansions rather than just Porsche this time and so are taking a break?
 
I think Turn 10 could have handled this better. They should just have said that there won't be a June car pack as soon as they knew it themselves. That way today's announcements would have dropped as surprises on a day where people would expect nothing. People expected a car pack though, so the Ford GT LM sort of feels like steak served cold. I don't mind free stuff, but I would gladly pay if things had followed the schedule fans are used to. The problem is that I feel like I have wasted an afternoon abusing the F5 button. I know that's not Turn 10's fault, but they still know how dedicated some of us are. The free car is nice of them, but a rather underwhelming outcome after anticipating a car pack since entering June a whole week ago.

Since sometimes(especially since the release of FM6), T10 seems to have started to become more like PD in terms of communication. All the hidden cars(especially the 993 GT2 from the Porsche Expansion) and the ''unicorns'' are good examples.

Polyphony Digital are hopeless when it comes to interacting with their community, but I see what you mean. The unicorns have probably annoyed more people than they've pleased.

With that said I haven't abandoned hope for this month just yet considering E3 is just around the corner.. I know it's not definite but no harm in having a little faith.

I know DLC for Forza 6 isn't going to last forever but I would hope it might last till atleast September when the Game officially becomes a year old.

I don't wish to sound entitled at all, I'm happy with what we have gotten so far.

My guess is they are purposely holding back some Cars for the next game (Horizon 3 or whatever it may be.)

They'll most likely to announce some news about Horizon 3 and who knows? They might announce a car pack or something as a small surprise for FM6 fans :D

Uh... what? There's a hidden car in the Porsche expansion? Well, how do I get it ma'man?? :odd:
 
Unfortunately no actual hidden 993 has ever been found in FM6 to date, only the image of what appears to be a 993's rear wing as featured in the original Porsche expansion pack trailer before it got edited!

However we already know T10 has got a couple of hidden cars in the game that are somewhat playable with a workaround

Having an actual 993 GT2 in the game would've been awesome though!

It's a possibility! When Horizon 2 was announced at E3, FM5 players got the Nurburgring and some very cool cars.
 
My impression is that the DLCs are over. That's it. No more DLC car packs. At this point I believe most people dont care... you all have full garages and you have played out Forza 6. Its been over six months which is more than I expect from their games.

There may be one more expansion pack which is fine but they dont want to make that final DLC car pack announcement until they have passed E3 and maybe are fully into the final expansion.

You don't expect a small DLC pack because the game has run its course, but you expect an expansion? I'm not sure I follow.

I would've liked a new pack, but no harm in not having it, plenty of cars as it it. Maybe they're actually prepping another expansion for E3, with Pacific Raceways as per 2013 Smartgeometrics leak, that's the last one left I think. I'm wondering what they have in store for FH3, and further out for FM7 next year and how they're gonna expand the game if FM6 is already pushing 50 gigs on my HDD. At the same time Halo MCC and GTA V are even bigger, 65 gigs I think so no problem.
 
I'm certain that they will put Dan on stage to say that they have had wild success (11 million Forza current gen accounts) and the Porsche and Nascar packs and now... they unveil a 'Pacific Raceways' pack that is for sale RIGHT NOW at $20.

It kind of writes itself.

Its just odd that you're not expecting something small because you feel the game is done, but you're expecting something that is absolutely large in comparison, even though the game is done.
 
Is it possible they simply didn't find a sponsor for a car pack this month? I have trouble seeing why they wouldn't release one unless they are done with car packs this time around. I don't get that impression from Ekberg's message though.

There was a reasonable gap between yesterday and E3, and I can't even bring myself to expect some major DLC by then. Free track or car(s)? Maybe, but they haven't been fond of giving out free content lately. Paid content? I think that would be poor timing alongside the announcement of a new Forza game, but I wouldn't mind seeing something worth our money. Time will tell! Meanwhile, it would be nice to receive the Ford GT LM sooner rather than later. :)
 
I would like to see another DLC pack, but they have done such a great job with content that I am having a bit of trouble with my wish list, I think we have it pretty good over on this side.
