Is it possible they simply didn't find a sponsor for a car pack this month? I have trouble seeing why they wouldn't release one unless they are done with car packs this time around. I don't get that impression from Ekberg's message though.

There was a reasonable gap between yesterday and E3, and I can't even bring myself to expect some major DLC by then. Free track or car(s)? Maybe, but they haven't been fond of giving out free content lately. Paid content? I think that would be poor timing alongside the announcement of a new Forza game, but I wouldn't mind seeing something worth our money. Time will tell! Meanwhile, it would be nice to receive the Ford GT LM sooner rather than later. :)

DLC for a game is often decided upon early in the development process, sometimes a year or more before release. The DLC forms part of the game's business plan, and as such is expected to have an impact on the company's quarterly earnings.

Or to put it simply, Turn 10 had no plans for a "regular" June DLC pack and gave us the Ford GT instead.

So, if I base the sales of expansions on Leaderboard data it seems that Nascar expansion may have actually sold similar numbers to the the Porsche expansion:
VIR - D Class - 73,858 entries
Homestead - R1 Class - 70, 856 entries

A really small difference and depending on licensing costs and dealing with EA they might've made more money on Nascar in this case.
At 20 bucks a piece 70,000 sales is about 1,4 million dollars.

According to a insider on Neogaf (Same guy who's leaked all this Dead Rising 4 stuff, found the filings for the possible New Xbox Slim as well) he says at the conference we'll see only Forza Horizon 3 and a Forza 6 Apex release date. Nothing from FM6. However this doesn't mean we can't rule out the possibility of them announcing something at the Petersen Museum Event instead. I hope he's wrong however! (about the lack of FM6 dlc) Not long now, we'll soon find out.

What does an Apex release date look like? Its already out. Do they mean they have a full price retail release with F6 features?
 
Code for the Ford GT LM that i was sent but didnt redeem it before i sold the Xbox so if it works someone else can use it.

I only bought it for Forza and sadly Forza 6 just wasn't a fun game for me. Career was very dull, The having to finish in the top 3 every race to progress just killed it for me. Terrible idea. So I hardly played and with future Forzas coming out on PC aswell, i really have no need for one. So cut my losses before the New models come out and the prices plummet ha.
 
Does anyone know when M$ will have Forza 4 playable on Xb1? Been patiently waiting for this to happen. I still have my x360.

I recently sold a digital copy of Forza 6. Just waiting on amazon to drop prices of the ultimate edition to some where around $40, then ill pull the trigger.

Would absolutely send me over the moon to see FM4 coming to backward compatible games. Would be amazing to have this put up for Games for free with Gold, but mehh.. T10 probably not that generous. :lol:

To me it feels very strong in the triggers but not so much in the body. What do others think?

And it feels like there's a rumble everytime you use the menu's

I think the recent update reduced controller body rumble in FM6 anyway but nevertheless thanks for the feedback feedback.

I've had it with these stupid consoles and I'm ready to throw them to the dumpster. First, I wanted to watch a movie but my PS4 won't recognize the controllers anymore, even with USB cable (thank god I still have a PS3).

Now my Xbox One is coming up with some nonsense about my controller not pairing up with my profile, so I can't access the store to buy the NASCAR DLC or browse online liveries in FM6. REALLY?! Why does the controller need to pair up with my PROFILE!!! Now it goes into an eternal loop telling me that there is no controller associated with the current profile, even though I only have one controller and one profile... These are dark days we live in...

Syncing up the Xbox one controller is really easy, there is a metallic button on the side of the Xbox, I think you need to press that one and then press a similar button on the controller. I did that last week, I thought my batteries were dead or near dying, the Xbox symbol on the controller kept flashing, I only had to do that and voila it was all good again.

Edit: nevermind sorry I misread your post, seems like yours is a different kind of problem.

Yeah... That happens often, but it's not the problem at the moment. I can actually play. It just won't let me connect to Xbox Live, or keeps telling me the controller is not paired with my profile and that I have to manually select the right profile. It is really frustrating since as I said, I only have one profile and one controller. Signing out and then back in will let me go into Xbox Live in the home menu, but it will get FM6 stuck in a loop which only resetting the console will fix.
