That partnership with the Petersen Museum is interesting. I also noticed that they have these in there.

It does make me wonder if these will be in the 2016 Porsche expansion, I would hope so.
 
It's not Moby Dick as that one is forever locked in the Porsche Museum and only ever ran in Martini colors, that looks more like a Kremer K3. So many variations of the 935 were raced both by Porsche themselves and by privateers, it's hard to keep track of them all.

I'm sure the Porsche DLC will differ somewhat from what FH2 got. The three FM6 car packs so far have done much to emphasize motorsports. I'm guessing 917, 935, 956, 919, 959, 918, 944 and a few 911s, keeping the balanced selection we have seen so far. FM6's current car list makes me expect no less. :)

On the topic of Porsches, I'm very excited for a hopeful appearance of Magnus Walker's 277 in the Porsche expansion. Would be amazing in ForzaVista quality! (From an EVO mag a while back)

Yeah it's a K3, I think there was only ever one 935/78 (Moby Dick) which was very fast at Le Mans but didn't really have much success. It was a Kremer that won overall in 1979.
 
Did you guys know you can play your Xbox on the TV and your laptop at the same time with the nee windows 10? This is amazing to me!!! This means my wife can watch regular TV while I play Forza6 on my laptop, and it still looks good! I'm playing GT6 and F6 at the same time! Right now I cant believe this. I might be late but that is pretty cool!

There's a thread over at FM.net claiming that the payouts for endurance races have been reduced from what they originally were. Can anyone confirm this? I've haven't done any endurances yet.

I read that earlier, but with the wheelspins the way they are now you'll make 5x as much from all the experience you will get. :)

Speaking of spins, I just turned level 100 and there was a 10 million cr prize in the center space. Has that always been like that? I didn't hit it but did get 5 million.

No I believe this is new, I only came across it the first time a day or two ago when hitting level 300, and managed to hit the jackpot of 10 million. I know there is also a special spin now which has 25 million as the jackpot.

Before the update I probably wasn't even making 1 million from spins for each 10 levels, now in the last 7 levels I've made roughly 15 million, hitting the jackpot all but once, where I got a 150k mod pack.

Yes I've been hitting the 1 million on average every 3 spins at my level, and if not that it's either 750k or 500k. It makes me want to race a whole bunch this month in case they change it again. Believe it or not some people are actually complaining about it. I'm not ;)

As someone touched on, the DLCs so far have really touched on the motorsport aspect, typically adding new cars to the series already presented to flesh them out. I imagine the Porsche Expansion will be doing the same thing by adding a nice chunk of road cars & then cars that will add to the LMPs, GTs, IMSA, etc. etc. cars. I'm sure the 919 is a lock given the recent additions of the Mazda, Toyota, & Nissan under Endurance Prototypes.
 
To fellow owners of the Ultimate Edition, do you also just see the buying option when accessing the game through the Xbox Store? It used to let me manage my game from there, but now it doesn't seem to recognize that I own it. I'm asking because I'm worried that I won't be able to reinstall, if that should become necessary at some point. My few other online purchases work fine, so I'd like to know if any of you are experiencing the same issue.

I'd seen it after I had pre-ordered it & once or twice after release date. All 3 times, I chose not to click it and load the game through the main menu.

I clicked it and it really took me to the checkout screen. At first I assumed the icon was glitched or something, but no.

It's always a joy to read these. :lol:

I particularly enjoy reading about how people feel that all real car enthusiasts are only interested in the same type of vehicle as them, as if anyone who prefers other types of cars cannot be a car enthusiast.

This is probably why you don't buy the car pass if you're only interested in one category and will end up disappointed if cars from that category aren't in the DLC. Personally there are not many cars I could name that I'd really like to see added, but instead I enjoy some cars I might have never heard of, or completely overlooked such as the Torana and Volvo 123GT. I'm surprised so many people say they get the DLC but don't even try the cars because they don't like them, there are some real gems in there even if they're not the fastest, newest, most expensive cars.
