My PC has a Pentium 4 2.80 GHz, 1.93 GB of RAM, but no video card. Will the game run normaly? (Don't think so) If the answer is yes, what mods or downloads do you recomend me?
Thanks

i'd reccomend at least a 9800pro for this game. I'm running a x800gto. You might be able to play on low/med settings. DX7 or 8.

How does Live For Speed run on your pc?

anyways, you can see most of the mods for rfactor at www.rfactorcentral.net there are some not perfectly legal mods as well like fia gt and gt legends mods, as well as wtcc.

Corvette C6 has been released. They really did a great job. probably my fav car in rfactor. A MUST DOWNLOAD if you have rfactor. The Nurburgring 3.0 should be out soon as well. maybe in 2 weeks or so.

its great fun to throw around and pretty much exhibits the characteristcs of a corvette c6.
my currrent realfeel settings with DFP @ 620degrees steering lock @ 32degrees for the car ingame.
MaxForceAtSteeringRack=-6000
SteeringDamper=65535
FFBMixerRealFeelPercent=100

This may be a daft question, but I'm going to reformat my hard drive over the weekend, what do I need so I don't have to pay for RFactor again once I re-download it?

Aww Dave... you sweet young man. You didn't have to do this for me. But I hellishly appreciate it. Haven't been to this site too often since I've been using my Opera brower more often. This looks like an amazing mod with dozens of prototypes. So it's safe to say that open-top prototype racing is now available for rFactor fans to enjoy. I actually haven't played rFactor in a while. It's one of the mods I hope to play when I'm actually able to get it all. Since school isn't in session, I don't have the luxury of using broadband from school to download rFactor mods (as well as doing assignments ;-)).

Thanks for the heads-up though, mate.

Ya'll can add yet another bloke to the rFactor list! :D I haven't gone online yet though, still have to master the physics. And my FF-less wheel. :grumpy:

I've been looking around on rfactorcentral.com. What I found was that the Sports Car Challenge is finally out (since July 11). I always said rFactor needed some quality sportscar racing mods. And now, this has come alive. This mod ( http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Sports Car Challenge (American Le Mans) ) was one of my WIPs when it was the Sports Car Challenge. And I always thought that people who have the FIA GT deal (like myself) will likely love the SCC and the LMS mods. I haven't downloaded any rFactor mods since I've been out of school with this dial-up connection at home.

So sportscar racing fans have two options to choose from. Either you can side with the presumed dead SCC mod with cars from 2001. Or, you can pick up the LMS mod ( http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=LMS Limited Edition ) with more cars presumably available in the future. Either way, a lot of sportscar racing goodness can be had by all.

Since I've reinstalled RFactor, I've lost all my mods, as you all know. Anyone know where I can get the GTR2 mod?

Thanks a lot :cheers:, the rFactor torrent site I used to use seems to be having problems.

I recently bought the Logitech G25 and i got a rFactor cd demo along with the steering wheel.Just installed it today and when i started playing it i ran into a problem.It seems that the pedal doesn't work.The pedal were functioning but it didn't in rFactor.The car also happens to accelerate by itself very slowly.Can anyone here help me post your G25 setups or help me out with my problems? :nervous:

Yeah thanks,but i think i solved the problem already.Just go to game controller/properties and disable the combined axis.But another question now,does anyone have a keyboard key setup.Theres too many keys that i can't remember.How do you adjust the brake bias?

Justgo into the controller options and have a look what the keys are mapped to.

I just installed rfactor, but when i go to play it is enormous and discolored. I can't find my way around it to change the settings. Does anyone know how i can solve this problem.

Is this RFactor, the full game? This cd came with the G25 wheel. I found it a couple off minutes ago and I have about 8 months. Rfactor is an online game but I wonder if this cd is also the full game?
[EDIT]: I just installed the game and it is a demo, not a full game!

Did you recieve a cd key to it as well? For most online games, a cd key is needed to register your copy and get online, but I'm not sure on Rfactor though...

It'll probably be the free demo and you'll still need to pay for the unlocking key to open the full game up. That said, maybe Logitech have a deal so that they can supply the full game and the disk copies don't need a key, both are possiible, but the chances are that it's a locked version that needs a key.
