After 4000 km in game, things seems better.
It is a shame that all tracks are not equaly in events, I had only 1 race on Phillip Island, Imatra, and Magny course and i have 24 hours of play.
Nordschleife is very badly modeled, it is very hard to drive because some sections don't have usual landmarks.

One more thing, it is ilogical to be payed for 5 laps race in championship 10000 cr, when you get 25000 cr for race in same group. You don't have incentive to finish championship like that.
I didn't figured out what are criteria for payment in time trial. Sometimes for 3 laps I get 4000 cr, and sometimes for 3 laps 30000.

Think they swung a little TOO far on the grip reduction but I'm good with it, at least the top speed thing should be resolved, will have to whip out the 1000 and have a go. Believe they started paying out more for time trials, something about every lap completed rather than every clean lap, I believe. Discovered a nice bug at Daytona when I slid out in the bus stop and it respawned me behind the tire wall on the oval

If anyone's on XBox (annoyingly not the Series X, wth were they thinking with the new gen console version???
) on Sunday's myself and a small group of friends have been playing an hour or so at 11 (-ish...) Eastern (so, what, 4 UK?). Mostly just in the exploring tracks and trying different bikes stage, overall skill level is trying to stay mostly upright, but it's turning into a good time, actually. If we can get a few people together we may be able to run some more or less organized stuff, we'll see.

Their DLC business model is pretty annoying, if I'm honest. Assuming we get it again, we'll have paid extra three times for the RC213V-S. I've sort of come to accept that you pay full price for the complete game six months down the road with the season pass, and the regular version is like a paid demo or something.

Added race director mode and weekly challenges. I look forward to getting destroyed by ten seconds a lap or so, there's some seriously quick players on those.

I was trying for a good time in Mugello today ...but I can't lower from 1m52sec.
The good thing of this weird bug ...it allowed me to buy some nice bikes with the money earned while trying :-). basically. all the legendary bikes
The Sutter is a weapon. It's really fun to ride without TC and AW. Loving it.

Hey, I picked up a Hailwood bike and a Suter too! And pretty much the rest of the Honda's and a good chunk of Yamaha's.
Nice lap, BTW! And @ctdc67, nice lap as well, was trying, couldn't catch you.

Was trawling their Facebook page about that very subject, essentially, Milestone considers it two different games. You switch from X1 or PS4 to the newer console, you don't even keep your profile, you start from scratch. That they're literally the only developer I know of doing this is more than a bit maddening.
And now for a positive, we need more games with yellow flag waving track workers! I remember noticing that when it first came out, never really thought about it, but yep, they're there, they're easy to spot and I like it. That I'm usually the one responsible for said yellow flag is a subject for another time.

So I'm pretty much done with Milestone at this point....on PS4 was around lvl 210 and about 75% complete with the campaign when I got my PS5. Restarting sucked, but the improved physics and controller feedback made it like a new game so I was not too upset.
Now after installing the latest DLC the game deleted my lvl 270, all bikes owned, 90% complete campaign progress. After restarting game to load the new bikes into the garage (which also autosynced the latest profile, which has nothing in it now) I was prompted to select my driver name and resolution preference.... and loaded into Tsukuba at LVL 1 and 25k credits.
So all that work to own, and build, every bike, as well as tune them for a class for online racing was for nothing. Because, as usual, Milestone still cannot figure cloud saves on PSN.
Honestly don't think I have the trust in the game or it's developer to start over for 3d time.
