We could consider this. 👍Speaking of yellowbird, that give me an idea to do 4th race for fun weekly, Wangan Midnight style, battle at SSR7 or SSR5/Clubman, SM/SS tire for 2/3 laps. Pick any premium car from my garage, one model for all racers, it will be a test of wits and skills to draft, pass and outbrake your foes
How about the Bugatti Veyron on SM/SS at SSR7 2/3 laps, Normal tire wear as the SSR7 has no pits, a sprint race at 2/3laps.
but "fuel economy " is kind off long for a nickname don't you think? How about Eko?

Notes :
A base setup made upon request by @Scaniabebe for his team ( Humberside Racing ) competing at BTCC-8 GTP League.
The rules were all power parts except NOS, set limiter to 305HP, 1360kg, 50/50 weight distribution, improve body rigidity, oil change and Sports Soft tire. At the time, I have built the Fortune Auto Dreadnought Pro 5 Focus ST, so I made a simple base tune without accessing GT6. The early suspension + lsd and gear ratio were tested by the team owner and was proven to be good. I tested the tune when I had the chance to play and the posted tune above is what was built. The base setup was tested online by Scaniabebe at Laguna Seca, and it was capable of 1:33s online lap on SS tire ( top tier time ) using his own gearing ( secret ). I hope the rotation when using optional low lock loose LSD, won't caught you off guard and spins out
- tire grip level fell dramatically from 9 to 8. It was ridiculous how traction magically disappeared on the next corner after the front tire hit 8.
👍, you guys did a great race, plenty of surprises which made it exciting to the end. description, feels like a radio sports report , .Race report from the Nurburgring (Race 1)
6 racers started the event:
1: @Lionheart2113 2: @RMan72 3: @PatrisS136 4: @OdeFinn 5: @TurnLeft 6: @danbojte
At lights out @Lionheart2113 lit up is rear tyres allowing @RMan72 to power past into the first corner, @PatrisS136 had a gearbox issue coming out of the first corner resulting him in dropping from 3rd to 6th, for the 1st quarter of the lap @RMan72 edged away as the others all jostled for position. A mistake by @Lionheart2113 at Bergwerk allowed @OdeFinn to power past on the next straight and set off after @RMan72.
A catastrophic failure of @PatrisS136 brakes at Steilstrecke resulted in him having to retire from the race on the spot. After the Karussell @OdeFinn set about the task of closing the gap to @Rman1128, a mistake by @TurnLeft at Hedwigshöhe let Lift&Coast (@danbojte ) past and he set about catching @Lionheart2113. The remainder of the lap was pretty quiet at the line @OdeFinn had closed to within 3.8 seconds of @RMan72 with @Lionheart2113 a further 5.3s back, @danbojte another 4s and @TurnLeft another 3s.
Throughout the 2nd lap @OdeFinn continued to close the gap to @RMan72 until he was within 1s, as it's difficult to overtake unless your opponent makes a mistake @OdeFinn bided his time hoping for a draft pass on the long Döttinger Höhe straight, unfortunately @RMan72 had a big enough lead and was able to hold on until they pitted for fuel and tyres.
@RMan72 took on less fuel than @OdeFinn meaning his pit stop was quicker giving him a 4s advantage as they left the pits, what they didn't realise was that @danbojte hadn't pitted and was now in the lead by nearly 10s, the chase was on.
@RMan72 set about reducing the gap, a mistake by @OdeFinn at Aremberg meant he dropped back to 16s off the leader but @RMan72 kept the pressure on and caught @danbojte at the Karussell and followed him closely hoping for a an opportunity to overtake. @danbojte kept it on the road but a better drive out of Galgenkopf meant @RMan72 had more speed down the Döttinger Höhe straight and easily sailed past.
Everyone expected @danbojte to pit at the end of the lap but his smooth driving and fuel saving tactics meant he was able to carry on without pitting. The final lap was all about whether @danbojte could hold onto 2nd or would the fast closing @OdeFinn find a way past, an attempt at Metzgesfeld failed but he was not to be denied a few corners later when with Exmühle coming up and @danbojte taking a defensive line in, @OdeFinn took a wide incoming line and powered past on the exit. He then set about catching the Robot @RMan72 but the gap and a lovely 360 spin at Schwalbenschwanz meant that he had to settle for 2nd, @danbojte held 3rd from @Lionheart2113 and @TurnLeft

I see you made mention that the brakes are "free choice". Was that for my button mashing benefit?
👍 The brakes are free choice, but still No ABS. Actually, the brakes were always free.I see you made mention that the brakes are "free choice". Was that for my button mashing benefit?

There's a [] button? Oh that's right, it turns on the rear lights...cool feature, just wish it did more.Nothing wrong with [] and X, they are my favourite buttons on the DS3
If you bash it really hard and hold it down it can make smoke come from the tyres and turn the tyre things red. There's a [] button? Oh that's right, it turns on the rear lights...cool feature, just wish it did more.
Is scirocco final free to choose between those two, and same question about LSD?
If you bash it really hard and hold it down it can make smoke come from the tyres and turn the tyre things red.
But I've only seen humans do that, it's some trick they can do with their disposal thumbs

Good point, thanks. 👍 I will update the settings and I'll let you know.Is scirocco final free to choose between those two, and same question about LSD?
Updated. For Scirocco, any of the two Final Gear values can be used. The LSD will be the Recommended one (20/20/5). Also, for both cars, Racing Brakes can be used if preferred.Good point, thanks. 👍 I will update the settings and I'll let you know.
Of course you may join in with us!! Just promise to have fun... Seriously...Most of us are average racers at best. So don't worry about the racing. You'll do just fine. Welcome aboard. 👍Hey, I was wondering if you guys would be ok if I joined in for the practice? I'm not much of a good racer but I did enjoy my time in both of these tunes back when @CyKosis started the BTCC Racing series. Also, I joined the club and still have a few of my favorite @Ridox2JZGTE tunes hidden in my garage somewhere.
Thanks, and I will, even if it is from the back row. As long as I can keep up with the rear of the pack, this will be a fun learning experience for me, I only got a few races in and never held on long.Of course you may join in with us!! Just promise to have fun... Seriously...Most of us are average racers at best. So don't worry about the racing. You'll do just fine. Welcome aboard. 👍
No. It is not restricted - that information is just copied over from the Ridox Replica Garage (where we get our tunes with the exception of EAG Tunes, of course). In fact, it is encouraged that you color your vehicle uniquely (rims too, as long as they're the same size as the tune calls for). That way replays look better. Just remember to apply your driver # to whatever car(s) we are using...One last question, is the body color restricted to what is listed in the tune? I do not see a restriction listed anywhere so I am curious. Thanks for all the help @ALB123
Actually, the races are on Saturday mornings. Not Sunday.I thought so, makes sense, I agree, and that is totally ok with me, more lines to chase during time trials and S license test (if I ever get there...) Unless something randomly comes up, I should be available that early this Sunday, so hope to see you all at the track.
