So, I bought the $19.99 big crate, but don't see how I can spend the keys? I see the keys listed when I go to trade items, but no where else.

Jerome

You buy the keys, hang onto them.

Play games and hope for that next item drop to be a crate. Spend 1 key to unlock your acquired crate.

Crates can be traded. Keys can only be traded a week after purchase.

Thing looks like Grog. The underwater brass skeleton thing seemed likely, given that the train station stage gave me similar vibes.

Anyway, with the update allowing us more freedom for customizing cars, I've felt the need to share what colour combos I've thought of:

Red/Yellow:

Tried to base it off of McLaren's F1 GTR Launch car with a different decal, but they presented too much yellow.

Evangelion Unit-01:

The decal that splashes over the lamp had angular shapes that made me think of Unit-01.

And then I tried doing Unit-02, which I found harder to pull off something satisfactory:

Because you only have one secondary colour to use, I didn't know if using just orange would have left a better impression than just white.

Rocket League on steam currently have an 25% off discount offer for both the base game and the DLC's, it ends next day.

While i already have the game on my PS4 with mostly my brother playing on it and also tend to play online with my uncle (and my cousins), i was thinking about getting it for the xbox one but the fact i can't play with PS4 players puts me off. Therefore i'm going for the PC version, how does it runs on PC? does it need a lot of power? My Laptop isn't exactly gaming related.
----------------------
Unrelated thing but i have been noticing that i get less ping from European Servers than the Middle Eastern one. :odd: ME Servers are around 182+ Ping for me while EU's are 110-165 at most times. So i went around and found it out that the Middle East servers is actually in Eastern European...:ouch:

So far, CSGO and TF2 are probably one of the few games who's truly have an actual Middle Eastern servers that's not far away from my region.

It doesn't require a lot. You'll see the spec requirements on the game page on Steam. I have the 750Ti and the only time it maxes out is if I run it on the highest setting at 1080p. I always play with subpart settings at 1024x768 and the game runs just fine.

Have you tried mainland Asia? If there's something in India it might be plyable.

Can someone please help me to get the Barras Bravas trophy. I dont have anyone on my friends list that plays this.

Just need to join and complete a match with someone. Would be greatly appreciated

Cheers if anyone in this great community can help out THANKS.;)

I wished there were more shades of blue, but I'll be settling on the unmarked police livery.

I'm having real bad problems with matchmaking lately, like any other game it tries to match you on skill but the people I'm put up against are far better than me.
Getting pumped by half a dozen goals each game is getting pretty tiresome.

I'm guessing you're doing 2v2 and/or 3v3s, because if you got higher-ranked opponents, there's a good chance you're paired up with a higher-ranked teammate, or the other opponent(s) is ranked much lower than you..

Or maybe there's too little people of your rank playing in the same server as you during the time you're playing.

While getting scored on frequently is a clear gap in skill level, you can always tackle the problems at hand to make a difference. If you're interested at all in this topic, I can probably identify some common play mistakes players make.

So there's a new map...... a new car.... a new crate.... and it's all coming in two days.

Also, I hit 600-hours on this game, and I accomplished every goal I had on improving since the 400th hour mark:

600 hours, that's mental! I've played for 100 hours roughly with 746 games played. I refuse to buy into the crate system though, so they're just stacking up since they arrived in the update.

If the people I play with are to be trusted, if a party enters a ranked game, the level of the opponents would solely depend on the highest rank of the party.

That's why I don't enjoy competitive much anymore... I'm challenger elite level at best, but courtesy of my friends having successfully boosted their ranks recently, every opposing team is a party of blue stars. :/

Its not fully dependent on the highest rank but its supposed to be the biggest factor. Where before an average was used of all the players skill in a group to matchmake, Know its kind of a mix of the two. People were complaining about players getting carried through the higher ranks and boosting and so on. It used to be a lot worse when they changed it at first so that the highest ranked player was the sole thing that effected the matchmaking but they relaxed it and made it a mix of the two.

But yeah it is harder to play ranked with people of different skill levels now, Compared to before they changed the matchmaking parameters.

It was like that for a bit. Now its average, but weighted somewhat I think. Except, if you have a champion or higher in the party, then it only looks at the highest rank.

I play a lot with random people online, and often times, I'm finding success by adapting to their particular habits and behaviours to shape the team's formation. If they know how to rotate, the team will for the most part perform just fine, but when there's a ball chaser, or someone who challenges the ball while leaving the net wide open, I usually have to compensate by covering the things they lack.

So if they like to go for the ball a lot, I'll opt to make hard clears or passes than dribbling.

If they make low-level mistakes such as mechanical errors or just whiffing simple stuff, I will always play behind them to follow up a missed ball.

Now that I think about it, this may actually decrease the team's chance of winning, but I guess I'd rather make good team play and lose to good players than to lose to easy goals due to positioning errors.

It's a slight shame that the rear won't be detailed if the gif is anything to go by, but i suppose that, being a car enthusiast, detailing the bits on model cars that weren't painted on it isn't entirely an unfamiliar concept to me.

Any hints or tips about getting out a slump? For the past two nights I've been absolutely dreadful. I just can't seem to put in a good shift. :(

Play around in free play, that always makes me seem to feel better even though you're practicing solo.

If my shots are off or whatnot, I practice air dribbling for a little bit and gets rid of the rust

Assess where things are going wrong and address those problems.

If you feel you're being the monkey in the middle where the ball just goes back and forth between teammate and opponent, it's best to just rotate back.

If you're making mechanical/execution mistakes that you normally wouldn't make (wall shots, aerials, etc), go back into the training room and focus on that for about 15-30 mins. If you don't have custom training sessions that tailor to the things you need to work on, then make some.

If you're feeling the slump from your team not making effective plays, it could be because no one is making good passes or working around the opponents to make things happen. Sometimes that's not on you. Sometimes you guys may want to dribble the ball in interest of keeping possession rather than clearing it and giving up possession.

I have days where I just make bad decisions and other days where I kill it. I realise it's not always myself involved. If my teammates and opponents aren't playing on the same wavelength as I anticipated, things will feel really off... such as your opponents not rotating the same way as you, and opponents knowing how to play around you.

I'm in a bit of a slump myself. Feel I've lost the edge I used to have. At the moment I'm putting it down to rocket rust but I can't keep claiming that. Just the simple things like reversing and barrel rolling to the left instead of right. Stuff you'd normally just do by instinct whereas now I'm having to really really concentrate.

I've gone from challenger with just a win or two from rank up all the way back down to prospect division 2. I play standard 3v3 due to friends sometimes playing with me. So i play that on my own too with randoms and the levels of retardation of these randoms is insane. They have dragged me down, it's not that they're necessarily rubbish but just utterly stupid. Knocking out of the way of open goals as im about to score then missing it and leaving our goal open for us to easily concede. Granted I've missed some easy shots too and saves but i feel these guys have generally helped regress my skills. It's mostly frustration playing competitive now.

So if there's any hotshots out there and willing, i have a vacancy going in the "drag me up" department on PS4.
