Rumour: Yamauchi won't talk about GT5 at E3 !!

We will get GT 5 at E3, those are just speculations......
Someone asked:"When was Amar wrong?"
Never, and I'm sure he's not this time.

I don't disagree with you, I want GT5 to have damage as much as the next guy, but mark my words, you will NOT be able to flip a car in either GT5 or FM3

i dont wanna be spamming here but 12 hours left.

You know whats funny, we all are making such a hype about INFOS, i can't imagine how insane we all will be going once the release date is near :scared:

Chris

Huh...Guys...CARS FLIPPED OVER....The real debate is physics at this point.

Exactly..I wonder if they reworked their physics engine and their typical 'pacejka' tyre model this time...

I would say any simulation in the current market that simulates 'tyre deformation' would possibly yield a very good physics.

:scared:

GT3 (3)
GT4 (10)
GT5:P (15)
GT5(73632562)

There is in a supossed gameplay footage, i dont think that T10 show something that no be able to do in the game...i think.

BTW since GT1 i want to flip the car.

Sorry my english:embarrassed:

Again, I want to flip it too,it would be a nice touch. However, the "actual gameplay footage" is gone after like 3 seconds so they could put whatever the hell they want in it. Oh, and your english is fine! Better than most english speakers on the internet.

If this is true we can forget seeing GT5 anytime soon.

It also means KY was right a while back when he said their resouces were consumed by ON LINE and PSP development.

I hope SONY is satisfied. This apparent postponement won't help PS3 sales any.

I think I here the wind blow too and its full of hot air.
FORZA3 anyone?

GT Mobile overshadowing GT5 is just a tough pill to swallow.
I'll say.

I have huge question marks about the physics when they show video of a car spinning around 180 degrees between two other cars perfectly with no loss of speed AND to finish it off he kept up to speed driving backwards...

Pure BS

Looked so arcadey . To me it did not look professional at all, at least the way they showed it. It may have tire deformation but all that was lost in the rediculous arcade crashes and 180 degre spins between two cars....

I am so glad KY is the presiden tof PD, that way you are assured this BS will never find it's way into GT

also, it will be intersting to see what type of lighting the cockpit views FM3 gets. Can it support the complex cockpit shadows GT5P had or will the 360 go belly side up if it tries?

Haha so true, there will be loads of random pointless threads like, what will you do just before you buy the game, or how long will it take you to put the controller down, will GT5 have damage .. lol

"what's the first car you will buy" "when are you getting GT5" "why are you getting GT5" "Can your dog play GT5?" "i'm gonna get a PS3 just for GT5" "what car are you gonna drive to Wal-Mart to get GT5" "where are you gonna buy GT5"

and of course..... OMFG IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!

That trailer was obviously rendered, so yes, all your efforts in typing have been pointless. :sly:

Tell that some Forza fans at GTRP for example.
But maybe they have 2 types of physics systems.

of course it was prerendered, like 95% of the footage they showed, but the point is. do you think it is proper for a game that claims it has the most realistic physics to show footage of physics that make Need for speed physics look like Grand Prix Legends?

I'm sure it excited all the 13 year olds, but anyone remotely interested in die hard sim racing had to have been turned off immensely by that video. It looked like a Need for speed intro. Totally out of place for a game that says it has the best physics available

"what car are you gonna drive to Wal-Mart to get GT5"

LOL you may be right everybody will start thread like this when close to GT5 release date
BTW I won't drive any car to wal mart because I don't have my driver licence yet.:P
Seriously, GT5 will be at E3 and it will totally own forza 3 (Yes I'm a GT Fan Boy:D), I still believe in Amar's winds.👍

It's obvious that we talk like this when we are so bored waiting!!!

You're absolutely right about that, I agree. But hey, let's admit that the "actual gameplay footage" trailer (the other one with the red audi and I believe them here) looks damned-good and the physics look also tight! :dopey:

Haha me neither. Also, did anyone notice how they called the Ford GT a "classic" US Muscle car. I know it's modelled after the GT40, but seriously, when the hell did 2005 become classic? Why not say the camaro, chevelle, corvette or anything else?

400 cars, 100 tracks.
10 times as many poligons as Forza 2.
I´m not too impresed.

The change to Forza 2 to 3 will not be as big as GT4 to GT5 because forza 2 and 3 are on the same console. On the opposite GT4 to GT5 is a freaking big change because the PS3 is more powerful than the PS2 and its almost 5 years since GT4 release and 5 years in the gaming world is a lot.

Well, it's just not my type of game. I see eye to eye with Kazunori Yamauchi and his games. I just don't click with FM3

RED FLAG alert again

Quick searches on the internet says PGR4 has around 90,000 polygons per car, FM2 cars had 150-200,00 polygons while PD confirmed GT5p cars have around 200,000

So for FM3 10x the polygons of FM2 = 1,500,000 - 2,000,000 polygons per car? Wonder if they even told the truth about the original polygon numbers

:indiff:

Haha 1.5 million polygons. How the hell would they fit that on 2 DVD's :P
