This event is getting cold. I'm freezing here under the tropics.... Still 1 week for the dead line.... too much time. :indiff:

Well, the good thing about uMadson joinng is that if we felt like it (and had the time), we could take the 2 fastest from our test and run them in a race and then doing a review of the race and how they felt online as a sort of final shootout between the top two :D

The extended deadlines hurt they don't help. It at first would appear longer deadlines are going to get more people in and give peeps with less disposable time, the time needed to participate.

What we end up with is 20 + Tunes & few testers.

Deadlines should be shorter, this will keep it going while it's hot. We don't really need so many Tunes with so few testers. There should be no more than 10 entries, 4 days for tuners 6 days for Testers. Then move on to a new Shootout.

Just My 2-Pennies.

Of course ,a new tester in the shootout is a very good thing, i'm just speaking about time and no entertainment. This is not so good. Your idea for the race is a good entertainment ,very good. But the tunes need to be done online first and this is not the case for this shootout. My car is the "TAZ from Tasmania" online, so to apply your good idea we need to specify on the rules that it's an online shootout.
I think i've seen this "Pictures race report .... it's really good, with the comments it look real, and it's very fun to read.👍👍

It was already made clear testing would be done like the FF Shootout, testing was done in Practice mode. Unless specifically specified why would we expect any different? If you went tuning for Online sessions, shouldn't it still do well online? I would assume some online made tunes might struggle online though ;) either way ANY Shootouts rules are dictated by the one running it, YOU can host an Online Shootout if you want to, make any restriction you like ;)

Sigh…do you still have something against me? We do it for the sake of having fun! :dopey: And can we just try to have something different? I don't mind doing walls of text and just driving a well tuned car on a brilliant track, but once in a while, I want to do something different.

And 'why would we expect anything different'? Because we do the expected :D

Yes ,it was very clear ,no problem about this, it's just for the next time eventually, to be able to do the Onboy online race report. This is a good idea very fun to read and see following the pics like a comic strip..👍

????? What are you talking about???????

Do what for the sake of having fun???

Walls of text???

Expect different then the posted rules and testing platform????

Something holding people back from setting up a OL Shootout with ANY different rules?????

You okay?

Exact !! take the best Laptimes and do a little report for each car, like the others testers for example or the way you want to do.
Good drive.

But I will add each tuner in PSN and take the shared car or I will buy the car and put the tune on it?

Nope, I feel sick…so that may explain it…………oh whatever, don't want to bicker.

ANDRE! GET ONLINE AND BRING YOUR TOP 2 FROM THE SHOOTOUT! I WANT TO TEST HOW WELL THESE TUNES WORK ONLINE!

^^ This option is the best.

Some of the tunes are hosted by others.

For the full list read Indy Racerfans review.

Ok, but I couldn't find the assassin tuner's and the -raVer-'s PSN!
And I don't have the cars they tuned... :/

That´s the reason why I said

"Some of the tunes are hosted by others"

Cykosis Caterham is hosted by Onboy
Assassins M3 is hosted by ACSR421
and my M5 is hosted by Tris_73

hope that helps

Just one suggestion, can add the car used by each representative? It's a pain in the ass to keep clicking and lurking for their weapon of choice, especially with such a laggy connection.
