RandomCarGuy17, i tried on arcade and it adds glitched select icons and,if you have the japanese exclusive Intergras, shows the full name, instead of DELETE or a empty name. And alters some values on the memory.

Interesting...I wonder if the other DELETE cars have their names intact inside the data?

Not exactly..

I've noticed, I watched Mattj55's video recently about the Test Drive disc. It apparently had Moon Over the Castle playing during the race, a few of the final GT2 sound effects for the menus, and less gloss on the cars than in the other demos.

In that demo, the exit sound seems like it has a different pitch to it.

Oh, and does anyone notice that the GT2 demos distributed with the Pizza Hut demo disc and the Music at the Speed of the Sound album (henceforth MatSotS) are prone to menu sound effects corruption? :indiff:

Looking into the Test Drive disc, a few of the courses like Tour de Tahiti (Safari Crouse) received a few minor updates before eventually being scrapped altogether.

Looks like PD wanted to have some use for these tracks, but may have had to remove them due to licensing, or time constraints.

I'm not surprised, I've tried that too and so has Mattj55 from youtube. The course is just too glitched for a successful run.
