It seems to be traveling a certain distance that causes the game to crash.

A position modifier might work around it, but I doubt it will though.

If you notice, the second attempt was longer than the first one. Could it be because I accidentally looked back? Also try the position modifier, I want to give it a shot too!

X Position
8008F888 XXXX
8008F88A XXXX

Z Position
8008F88C XXXX
8008F88E XXXX

Y Position
8008F890 XXXX
8008F892 XXXX

Might need to fiddle around with them to get something.

Each code changes the specified position of the car.

Y position is the height. X and Z are the left/right/up/down positions. Try messing around with them and see what you get.

Just discovered something!!!! Looking back while driving on seattle2000 doesn't crash the game for five seconds, more than it actually does when looking forward! I went past the start sign!! I'll try driving the wrong way!

Interesting...

Does it still crash regardless? If not, i'd imagine driving in reverse is pretty inconvenient.

Actually, it crashes when driving on reverse, but looking backwards doesn't. Also, that annoying sound is probably tire screeching! Because it doesn't start unless you throttle the car.

And here is a dream I saw regarding the CLK GTR Race car, and a weird track. It was choosable in a very early GT2 Test Drive build, and I drove it on a weird track, it looked like a drag strip, but it wasn't. It was in a weird format, and there were no 3d buildings or something. Just a flat surface with textures.

apparently I didn't read the entire thing enough, I see it now. You were dreaming it, oh well. I can't help but hope that was playable in some early demo.

Yes I think so :(. But what bothers me are the many maps that I saw that are on GT2, but they actually don't even exist. I remember a square track in a city, which was under development and you could drive through the barriers, and do the half circuit. Man, I even remember a GT4 one, which was a Driving Park Beginner's course without any cliffs, but it was bigger and it had no pit stops, but a small stand on the left. And then this one I mentioned above. It had 2d City background and it was set on night, and it looked like a drag strip. It was like this::

Imagine if these were actual tracks ._.

I know, I did that on the previous post with the tracks. I just posted that differently on purpose. But just like you said, CLK GTR will only be drivable and visible on our dreams, so will SSR11, unless a VEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY early GT2 Test drive disk is found.

???? No never never and never will we found something like that (unless PD released beta disks)

The only demo I feel we'll see that CLK-GTR in, is in the E3 demos.

Some E3 demos of other games have made their way onto the internet, so eventually someone will find it.

So is that the earliest version of gt2 we can find. What'll happen if someone does find a drivable CLK-GTR?

This might be off topic, but what did the CLK GTR Sound like?
