Create a ISO of your Gran Turismo 2 cd (or use the CD, never tried it through, since I dont want to damage the disc; I always make copies of every CD/DVD I buy, so I never use the original), and open it in ePSXe.

Also download SCNB1001.BIN (or something like that, ePSXe asks for it). Its illegal, but google should help

Then configure your video settings, just test and error. Can take hours.

Then you can finally play!

I'm going to sound like a n00b too, but how do you create an ISO? (My disc is kinda....messed up-I can't get to the Map Menu on pc-so I want to see if that helps.

And by the way, SCPH1001 (the BIOS it asks you for) isn't illegal, as long as you have a PlayStation-not a problem for me.

The only way for me to do a wheelie is to break out from motosportsland and do it in an 180SX from HKS and it happens at around ~300MPH (max speed for me was 650MPH) ;p . I don't know any other way .. because theres is no such long straight road on any track i guess.

Buy an Escudo, put all the suspension settings to their minimum, the front height to the maximum, the rear downforce to maximum and front downforce to minimum, and make the longest gears. Then go to the test course (max speed), and hit the pedal to the floor after the first turn. You'll get the speed around 435 kph (~270 mph) and you'll see (especially on the replay) that your car was about to make a wheelie. Or you can break out on the motorsportland track, as Mati PL said.

Everybodies settings are different, especially when you have an ancient computer like i do. I couldn't get my cd to work (but i had before, which doesn't make sense), so i created a .iso and it ran perfectly (except for the fact that you have to wait through the beginning movie or it will freeze )

If you want i could send the iso producer to you on msn later.

ePSXe does nothing here either when I load the CD, plays fine with the iso.

Also, it seems I got none of the known bugs in GT2, or is that just pure luck? Apart from the wrong grammar from time to time, no garage thief, no wrong cars in a race, etc

You might have version 1.1, which is probably why, version 1.2 does not have any spelling mistakes what so ever. To have the garage thief steal your cars, you need to save 9 times or more!

I have PAL, and isnt there only 1 version for PAL?

Cool. I have just had a thought about the Palm Strip. PD must have tested the Palm Strip before Sony told them to delete it, which means it's quite likely they may have footage of a car driving on it, and if they do I want it, and I want it now. Oh great, now I sound paranoid!

Well, remember breaking out in Laguna Seca? When the car makes the wheelie, it somewhen becomes unstoppable - I mean, you can't even accelerate/break. But if to look on the screenshot, I was still able to do that

error loading plugins/gpu.dll. what is the problem?

well, i tinkered with the name, and now the thing just shuts down when i tell it to run bios.

now, i need a cd dll.

got that, but now the emulator wont run GT2.

Cool, Thanks sucahyo! Do you know why you cant buy it on GT2 though. I read on some website that sometimes you actually race against it, even though its supposed to be disabled. Is this true?

P.S: Why the hell is it in the Toyota showroom? And why is it on the official car list?

It should be a hidden car, I use cheat code to make the first car in toyota dealer available as VW Polo. I don't know if we can ever race against it.
