A) Stop stereotyping. A lot of rappers, since this is the only kind of gangsta you seem to be considering, DO in fact have semi- to good- taste in cars. 745s, CL600s, Phantoms, Flying Spurs, Murcielagos, CTS-Vs, Porsches and the like, and most of them don't make anything worse than Japanese VIP cars, which I like. Do a lot of them have horrible taste? Yes. But most aren't too bad.
B) Mafia are gangstaz too.

A: Not particularly rappers: no, I'm talking about the guys on the South Side of Peoria. The people who can't afford those hyper vehicles yet, and are involved in gangs.
B: I'd like to hear you call a mafia member a "gangsta." Just like that. With the "A."
C: I tend to associate the 5 series with my favorite BMW of all time...that generation's M5. Which, really, is a German musclecar. If I'm thinking Mafia...well, If it's modern times, probably a Mercedes, less so Bimmer. Rapper? Any of those exotics you said (although I'm thinking 760 instead of 745)...with large wheels and maybe more sound. and possibly a respray, but I'm more than willing to bet they had the factory custom paint their cars.

I love the look of the outside of the car, but as I said before, the interior in that shot is horrid. And there's no definite way to say I'll keep that opinion if I see one IRL, but I think I would.
And of course if I sat in one I wouldn't let the interior keep me from enjoying the car as a whole.
