Yep, they mentioned there may be free PC DLC, and the first free DLC for the first game was a new online race mode and 5 new cars a month or so after the release date.

From what I saw, there will not be any DLC for the PC. They said it was too difficult to support it. But I did see somewhere that they were almost done with the first package of DLC for the consoles, that will release when the game hit stores.

Yeah right, if you believe every word they said, not too difficult for modders to convert the DLCs for Shift 1 on PC.

If you check the news on the games website, the prize car for the endurance racing discipline is the BMW M3 GT ALMS. so that one more car and discipline revealed.

It's been added to BMW list as well. Z4 GT3 is now the only BMW to be revealed...

Well, in spite of it being 🤬 that they don't have such a system (several other DICE/EA games support it on PC through EADM without any kind of cerberus style custom gateway), the excuse was that they didn't have time to implement a pay gateway for DLC. Not that DLC was undeliverable on PC generally . Everything in 1.02/Team Racing is called "DLC1" internally.

EA allowed you to buy an unlock for all the cars as a DLC in HP. Maybe they'll do something like this for S2U?

Mind you, I won't be getting it, as I prefer to play games with their own natural progression, but we have all seen what has gone on with GT5 as the Pokemon kids screw up online looking for glitching opportunities so they can 'get them all'...

Maybe if they can just 'buy them all', they'll be less inclined to go look for the glitches..?

OK.. now i can't the sense of putting empty spot in the lists if thay are all wrong.. like lancia and dijon that weren't in the list.

The point? To keep you guessing. It's much more of a mystery if you don't know if that's really a gap there or not.

yep, it looks like they may have removed a bunch of cars in the "list all cars" section, too. I'd bet it was MINI that was cut, and that the track which disappeared was cut, too. I wouldn't be surprised if these ended up being on-disc DLC.

Modders and SMS are totally different people. Its not considered DLC if the developer didn't make it. Its called a mod for a reason.

They did say there was DLC nearly ready already. But the last car slot has to be Mercedes right.

in the Q&A with the lead designer, the question was asked if it was in and he said no. so its someother Bugatti or another Caterhem

My guess as well.

The official car list is quite a mess from the beginning, unlike Hot Pursuit.

Anyhow, all speculations will come to an end next week, hopefully...
