Where the hell do you place your faith may I ask? You claim to be a messenger of god; to be connected with a holy spirit; you aim to be a pastor/preacher/alterboy and yet you have the audacity to proudly proclaim your hate for another living creature and go so far as to say it doesn't have a soul?! You disgust me. You're walking proof that religion is nothing more than a controlling, mindwashing hypocrisy.

Honestly, please think about it... are you maybe just a fanatic ? Do you really believe what you like to quote or was this special church you go to, just the next best place
that provides a base for your wish for an extreme point of view ? Honestly, you scare me a bit, I won't elaborate on why I think so, but you have perfect resources for being a very dangerous man; In a way I'm happy that you choosed religion and a moderate church ( unlike maybe 20 % Islamic churches for example ) ....
XVII : Read through this and don't feel attacked, but really think about it and maybe work on it; you are still young and I'm almost sure that you see many things very different in 10 years, but honestly start using your brain more ( sounds harsh, but to my conclusion you accept too much instead of thinking about it ) ....
 
but where in the bible can you find animals having souls? if animals did have souls...we wouldnt just be witnessing to human beings...

it's not like cats go to hell either...

i base all my decisions on the inerrant, infallible, inspired word of God, so whatever i have to say concerning any issue i try my best to line up with that
 
Sometimes I think XVII is not religious at all and just makes jokes about us, then again it would be hard work to find all these quotes etc...
At least it is never boring when XVII is around :)

I'd say cats and humans go to the same place, to ****ing nowhere, but this strange religion I call "science" is just my personal thing and also this is offtopic and discussed elsewhere.... I just wanted to express that I am not surprised that it is hard for you to find out the truth about cats having souls or not....
 
Lets just not make this a religious thread, we are entitled to our own opinions no matter how devoted we are to our religion.
 
Well, being from Wisconsin and owning two cats, I can say that I wouldn't be too pleased if they were shot on account of being mistaken for feral. On the other hand, feral cats can be dangerous, due to their wild instincts, and at present, we're not really sure how to tame them effectively.

I think that we should have a temporary time period where shooting feral cats is legal, and see how it goes. If the population goes down and no(t too many) domestic cats are killed, then we make shooting cats illegal and see if the population returns. If it is a total disaster, then we learn our lesson and move on.

My next door neighbour took in a wild cat last year, and my cat was a wild cat. Nothing wild about him.

I used to own cats and I dont mind them. I just hate the owners that are too irresponsible to keep their cats indoors at night. Nothing worse than having a cat climb all over your nice car or get into your garbage.

Cats sleep on or under my car all the time - in preference, I might add, to ALL the others in the street. I have no problems with that at all.
 
Cats put you car to good use when you're not using it. 👍 ,Unlike birds which use if for target practice. :grumpy:

We kept cats and every evening we would call them in. But sometimes, especially in summer, they wouldn't come in/be too far way.

If you worked on cars yourself and just put a couple hundred dollar paint job on your car and had a cat climbing on it I dont think you would be very happy. But if you just have regular cars then I guess I would understand. Right now I dont have any cars that I would care about if a cat walked on but once I paint the Mustang and the Camaro I won't want cats on it. It takes a lot of work to paint a car yourself.
Like I said I dont mind cats and I have had several as pets. I Just dont want them on my cars. Especially if a cat gets spooked or starts to slide off a car. Those little claws are not clear coat friendly. 👎
I should clearify, I am not saying hunting and killing them is the right thing to do.

Gnerally such precious cars are kept in a garage. Or if you're really botered but lack the space/cash get one of the car covers.

Nada... And that makes two of us since I only drive a regular as well... Good thing is, the seat on the ZXR is so uncomfy that cats find concrete more appealing...

And no, cats should NOT be shot because they kill birds.. Birds should be shot for tempting the cats by not sitting on the thinnest top most branches in the tree...

We are talking about a cat, not a human. So are you saying since I hit a cat with my truck a few months ago I should be ran over to? I mean it was either hit the cat, hit another car, or go into a ditch. Although the sherdded feline made a mess of my wheel wells :yuck:.

I'm fairly sure hitting the cat with your truck was not intentional - unfortunately, cats have little or no interest in how to behave in trafic- hence, you know what.. If a drunk, under the influence, falls in front of your truck giving you no chance to react, will you be sentenced then ?....

No, here in Wisconsin there is a big controversy right now because people want to make it legal to shoot stray cats, but people don't like it because they are afraid people will shoot their cat if it gets out of the house. Personally, I am really not so sure whether I should like the "law to be" or not.

Edit - After thinking about it a few minutes, I guess I will go with the people who are against it. I have two cats, I think it would be bad for the two of them to get shot, just because some dumb person thought they were stray, when they mistakenly got out of the house. I hope that our dumb governer, Mr. Doyle, doesn't pass this law.

Newsflash, "BOY". I no longer work where I did (and you don't pluralise "anus" by adding an apostrophe to it. In fact you don't pluralise ANYTHING by adding an apostrophe to it), where I played with blood and chemicals all day rather than sphincters, I backed up my claims (made in response to another self-absorbed, egocentric member) with Journal references and I don't HAVE any cats. And the last time I checked, you don't "calculate" chemical formulae.

If you want to condescend to the entire populace of GTP by saying that people drive "regular" cars, not like your super-duper-hyper-ultra primered Camaro, you've got to take the rough with the smooth. And, as ExigeExcel said, if you were REALLY that bothered about a cat sitting on your car, you wouldn't have it outside - and you certainly wouldn't drive it anywhere in case of stone chips. A 1mm pebble at 40mph will do more damage to your paint than a lifetime of cats warming themselves on your engine block.
