Updated gtbadboy and Niels 👍

Ran a few more laps on TT1 -

23.787 / 47.004 - 1'16.240 ( another .1 if I was lucky would be the best I can imagine as my ultimate PB )

Updated will upload video and .max save tomorrow after work

Seriously sweet time there Hekke  and you certainly have pushed a target thats going to be hard to beat for me! .. but as always, I love to try :sly:

gonna get a few more laps on this after the wife is done with the soaps on tv ;)

Updating now 👍 Nice work mate! will verify your lap and have a few laps against it also :sly:

Cheers
Ron.

edit: I changed your replay to .max for the Leaderboard and attched here to link 👍

I´m sure you will.... you´ve got the talent to beat it 👍

Thanks, mate... forgot to do it myself :grumpy:
Oh, btw... care to update my TT5-time (post #205) :sly: 👍

I´m sure you will.... you´ve got the talent to beat it 👍

I wont say you make it easy mate ;)

Thanks, mate... forgot to do it myself :grumpy:

No probs 👍 .. and your TT5 is updated now also .. dont know how it slipped through the net :dopey:

Verified Hekke's TT1 which is clean as a whistle and a great lap 👍 Well done mate

I couldn't resist to have some laps against your ghost at the same time :guilty: anyway after 1 hour getting warmed up I managed to sneak ahead ...

23.793 / 46.936 = 1'16.124

I reckon a 1'15 is doable now as my last tunnel is not really that fast and could get another .1 with a good entry .. I'm off to race it some more anyway ;)

here's my .max replay and will hold back on making a video of 1st place until we have a outright winner because I'm sure me and Hekke are happy to play tennis with the thousandths until we hit optimum 👍

Back at you mate and good luck :)
Great battle
Cheers Ron.

Don´t you just love that game of "tennis", eh Ron ;)
Not quite there yet but still managed to improve on my PB a bit :scared:
Wonder how low we can go? 👍
I´m sure Ron´ll be lurking in the bush somewhere... ready to strike again

TT1 update:
23.773 // 46.853 // 1:16.073

And there was me planning a nice pleasant night with the missus! ... Looks like its the DS2 in my hands tonight and God only knows what will be in hers
Hopefully she wont read in here or I'll get a slap :ouch:

anyway ... Thats a great lap mate and awesome splits 1, 2 and of course 3 :scared: will certainly need to dig deep to catch you now but thats the fun part for sure! .. nothing like seeking perfection and going mad in the process :dopey:

Awesome work  will verify your lap for the leaderboard and lines as usual ;)

I'll be back ;)
Ron.

Hekke your lap is clean as a whistle as per usual and blazing fast 👍
I chased your ghost for a good 90 mins there and could not pass you at T1 at all .. managed a 46.885 at T2 but messed up the last tunnel :grumpy:
Here's my best lap so far ..

23.867 / 46.943 = 1'16.078

I only see 2 parts where you lose the a small amount of speed where I might be able to gain an advantage and thats the bump on the rumble going around the sweeping left before T2 and your turn into the last tunnel could possibly be faster ... other than that the lap looks pretty much solid as a rock 👍 great driving mate  I look forward to more laps on this tomorrow and its a 1'15 for one of us for sure ;)

Updating now!

Cheers
Ron.

I'll upload my save tomorrow if I dont beat it :)

Sorry for my late reply.

You´re absolutely right there, Ron.
Lost a bit of time before T2 and through the tunnel aswell. :grumpy:
But managed to improve a bit more and pretty much nailed that final bend before the final tunnel.... though, have to be said, I couldn´t manage that "perfect" lap :grumpy:
Seen some ridiculous splits but overall it´s a pretty damn good lap :sly:

TT1 - 23.801 // 46.884 // 1:16.027

I´m just hoping that your missus now knows what to do 🤬 :embarrassed:

Edit:
TT2 - 19.061 // 42.009 // 1:14.856 // 1:37.857
TT3 - 15.772 // 1:00.863 // 1:49.987

Will update with replays later, Ron 👍

Well...

I took the time to re-upload my RGT lap using the Sharkport instead of the Maxdrive (due to the previously mentioned USB Flashdrive problems).

Unfortunately, upon opening the replay in PDQ's replay manager I found the replay was consistantly labeled as a corrupt.
Once I resigned myself this reality I decided to put in a some extra time with the lap and see if I could match it. So far I'm off to a good start. Already went down to 7'00.2. I plan on beating the previous time. :mischievous:

That said, it's the oddest thing with the old replay. It plays just fine in replay theatre and works just fine as a ghost. My guess is that I corrupted the file when I copied it onto a second memory card (by switching cards while in the replay save menu). Should have known better than to do that but oh well. :sly:

Back when I've got an update that can beat my previous best... Should that not happen easily, I'll be back with the good replay file for my 7'00.2. Until then,
-

Good morning/afternoon/evening to everyone here!
I have the opportunity to race against you guys.I am interested in the long race series, mainly in JGTC,but a little journey to your world can be useful for me.
This is my first attempt to post replays so forgive me if something goes wrong. My MaxDrive is brand new...:)
I hope I'll be here for a long time.
Thanks for watching.👍

Seems I have been neglecting this thread :guilty:

Welcome to the TT's GTXDriver 👍 I just grabbed your TT1 along with Hekke's update also and will view them both as soon as the wife is finished with Big Brother on the front room tv :dopey:

I will update the Leaderboard also when I get back :)

Have fun with the tests .. and Cheers
Ron.

Welcome to the TT´s, GTXDriver 👍
Took the liberty of downloading and checking your replay - nice lap 👍
However, the rules here state that you are not allowed to go beyond the rumble-strips with more than two wheels so therefore your time is not valid at this point in time, I´m afraid.... I´m sure that you´ll be able to get an even faster time according to the rules... Good luck 👍
I believe Ron will fill you in or you could download one of the verified replays to get an idea :sly:

Anyways...

TT4 - 1:20.703

... and more to come.

Cheers, Hekke.

Thanks for uploading a replay so soon into your TT attempts GTXDriver 👍 it is a solid lap with a time of 1'16.613  ... but unfortunately as Hekke has already stated .. the rules of the TT's are to keep 2 wheels within the rumblestrip boundaries at all times to be classed as valid :guilty: It is simply to make these TT's similar to the GT3 TT's that would fail you for a similar move ;)

I am sure you can clear up this little oversight as it was only in the last tunnel you went out of the boundaries limit 👍 but a very nice lap all the same .. good luck on your next attempts 👍

I verified Hekke's TT1 of 1'16.027 at the same time and its perfectly legal and disgustingly fast :sly: Nice work mate and Leaderboard Updated with your new TT1 and TT4 also

Thanks for taking part guys .. I will get back on these in the next day or so :)
Cheers
Ron.

Here´s an update on all my PAL-replays combined thus far.
Ron, I´m aware that you´re very busy here, there and everywhere .... my TT2, TT3 and TT4 needs updating :sly:

No worries Hekke :) I am on my way out to help my dad with something at the moment but will update everything when I return and verify the remaining laps you have that need the once over ;)

Cheers
Ron. 👍

Thanks mate 👍
No rush
Btw, Ron... are you using Windows Movie Maker when making a video-replay ??
I would love to hear and learn more about it 👍

Just uploading Hekke's replays as .max for the Leaderboard whilst I update it 👍

I have verified Hekke's TT2, TT3, TT4 and TT5 ( I already cleared TT1 the other day ) all 4 are clean as a whistle and blinding laps 👍 Well done mate

I added youtube video's for Hekke's TT1, TT2, TT4 and TT5 to the leaderboard as all are 1st place spots and deserve pride of place and should be viewed by both regions ;) ... I also took the chance to run a few laps against your TT5 mate and chopped it down to 1'24.542 quite quickly 👍 it's so much easier when you get a tow off someone :sly:

I have 2 memory cards I use for GT4 and in the maxdrive some of my replays dont show up on the browse screen ... so I usually just transfer from my black card to red in PS2 browse mode to make it show up on the other card and then transfer from there! .. but today I got lazy and decided to clear a few replays from my red card using the maxdrive and lo and behold my red card is knackered and wont take no more replays and shows as empty with only 2mb worth of space left :grumpy: luckily most of my up to date replays are on my black card but still I have the trouble with them not showing in the maxdrive browse screen

anyway to cut a longer story short I wanted to update all my remaining replays from the leaderboard so as I could get them green ticked and over with ... I managed to transfer 3 of the 5 that need verified and will have to wait until I get another empty MC to transfer the remaing 2 before uploading :dopey:

so here's my TT1, TT2 and TT6 replays for some kind person to verify and will update my TT5 and TT8 asap 👍 ... Lesson for today is dont delete replays with the maxdrive software .. and I already knew that :dunce:

Please watch Hekke's video's I uploaded and justify his skills and the 3 hours I just put into sorting all the leaderboard and vids out
Cheers
Ron.

I know I´ve said it many times before Ron but you deserve all the credit you can get for keeping this thread alive and well.... awesome job, mate:bowdown:

Unfortunately here´s some more: :ouch: :ill: :nervous: :sly: 👍
TT4 - 26.391 // 56.797 // 1:20.005

Maybe it should be compulsary for the #1 spot to make his/hers own videos.... I know that I´m going to try it asap and upload it on photobucket.
Just going to figure out how to... 👍

Now, don´t get too fond of Laguna Seca 👍
Great time, Ron.

I´ll DL your replays as we speak and return with the verdict :scared: asap, alright ?!
Don´t think it´s really that necessary but I know where you´re coming from 👍

Thanks once again Ron... appreciate it 👍

No probs mate I will update your new time within the hour 👍 as for the video replays! I have no problem making them as I have a fairly easy way of doing it .. basically its the converting them and uploading them to youtube and then it all has to be edited and linked to the leaderboard which is the time consuming part!

I missed your question regarding how I make the replays a few posts above until earlier today and your recent post has prompted me to answer it 👍

I have a PS2 over at my front room tv with an s-video and av cable that connects the PS2 to the tv with s-video and audio left ... then I have the yellow video plug and the red audio plugs free! .. which are extended with a normal audio left/right cable which is about 15 foot long and runs all the way to my pc and they plug directly into a PCI tv card that has record function.

When I have recorded the replays i need .. I boot up windows movie maker to resize and add the title screen and audio if I feel like adding it 👍 an average replay of around 1 minute 20 secs will take around 20 minutes on its journey from the ps2 to end up on youtube 👍

Hopefully you get the picture anyway ;)
Cheers
Ron.

So does that mean a Ring replay would take a very long time or is it only slightly longer?
None the less, thanks for all the great work you put into this spotty.

A Nurb replay would take longer for sure .. an average replay I make around 12-15mb in size to make it look decent enough to view but keeping it within a reasonable size that should be easily downloadable on most DSL connections pretty quick, A Nurb replay would be around 6 - 8 mins in length depending on the speed of the car! .. which would need to be a good 40mb in size to get a decent quality vid all the way through ... that will treble the time to convert in windows movie maker and then to upload it to youtube would be longer than uploading a smaller sized replay ... so the answer is a definite yes but it would be worth the effort imo just to see the 1st place drivers lap 👍

Thanks for the kind comments regarding this thread guys
Cheers
Ron.

Sorry ´bout the delay, Ron.
Had to convert your max-files into xps. and then upload them to my mem-card :)

Nevertheless, your TT1, TT2 and TT6 are flawless and very neat to watch 👍
In particular your TT6 - love the way you short-shift :)
Your TT1-replay is very similar to mine  :scared:

Thanks for the feedback regarding how to make a video 👍
I knew already how to connect the PS2/PC and create a mpeg-file on my pc, cable, plugs and all - all I needed was what kinda software you were using and how to go about it - frame-size and all.
Now I´m a bit wiser:idea:
Thanks a heap, mate 👍

Thanks for verifying my laps Hekke 👍 and good luck with the video creating .. it's quite a cool project most of the time

I just done a search on google regarding my corrupted memory card and instantly found a solution that might be of help to others that dont know like I never :dunce:

boot up maxdrive software or ARmax as both work and do the same thing .. go to your memory card manager ... highlight the corrupted memory card and press square .. thats it! It gets formatted and you now have a brand new empty memory card again :dopey: I just used it to get the remaing replays I owe so here they are :) For whoever fancies a look 👍

Cheers

btw I just grabbed your new TT4 Hekke and will view it asap! awesome time btw

Well, with that being the case... :mischievous:
Right now I've managed to finish a 7'00.2... However, I'd like to beat or match the last time I had (on the corrupt replay). So for now I'm going to be working on getting below 7 minutes. :D

Back later on when I've managed that task (it's not as easy to match as I thought it would be when I originally tried a week or two back). :ouch:

You're doing great Kent 👍 I couldn't get within 10 secs of your lap and thats if I run it all night :scared: I'm sure you'll nail another sub 7 .. Good Luck 👍
