Another question as our group (4) has not yet raced stage2:

What do we do if not all of us get into the race at the appointed time?

Do we retry five minutes later or so ?

I ask this because we will not have the possibilty to talk to each other if something happens (besides PS3 messages).

We used live race chat and it worked great.

It will be 7PM in Poland; 7PM in Croatia; 6PM? in England and 3AM in Japan so no Japanese players should drive...

The reason I post it in here not via PM is that a player from Croatia does not replay for our PMs.
Me and Subie-Dude from Canada already raced twice as a training so it is possible ;-) (I won both times )

Further more if we will have 5 people (including stewards) race I propose to start racing immediately only changing position in Race #2 or 3 if there would always be the same host (host has pool position if all drivers have the same amount of points)

Haha, thank you Subie-dude for the complement but its not truth I'm just average, we had cool races thought. In first we had 1 retard who couldn't get away although he had 30 sec handicap and S2000 Tuned... but he got off the track so only we both were racing and there was the closest fight in race 1 - I made a mistake on first lap on first 90degree turn so to not cut it I had to almost stop, Subie overtook me, then I came back to fight and overtook him on hairpin exit
In second race we had some retards who were doing some seek fights between each other and one of them "came back" to us at the end of the race but we finished quite normal fortunately.
Race 3 was a fight against one of those 2 retards (second did not show up) he gave us break only after second lap (something like that).
In overall first race was the best, clean fight
Good luck to everybody in last round (what ever it will look like - time trial I suppose - and I do not know if I will have time to put in some laps - two major events at the same time is kind of a hard :/)

Me, Synwraith were the only competitors and Jack Stanley made it in to referee. Quite a straightforward clean race, not too much bother from backmarkers...Belifant sent me a message mid-race saying he was having a problem. But Fujiware-Kun wasn't even online.

Oh and Jack Stanley nearly took me out at the hairpin haha! No need to run so close man. I could barely hear my own engine, just your chavvy dump-valve hissing at me!

Thanks for posting the results RPM.

at nearly taking you out. Im having MAJOR problems with my sixaxis. It is playing up. Wont turn on with the cable attached and when I unplug the cable it doesnt work at all When I came flying behind you at the harpin, I hit my braking point and my controller didnt responed..... Luckly I steered out the way and ghosted Sorry!

As for the race. Syn, RPM and Belifant all turned up (although Belifant had some problems I understand) but Fujiwara-kun not even online..... I know this cause I have your PSN

Those were some fantastic races Ian, you're incredibly good with that Audi TT, super clean as well, some great side-by-side moments but you were clearly faster. In race 3 when I lost it at Spoon and no longer had the draft, you were off and away, fully deserving winner 👍

I think it's going to be you, timeattack and villainpl fighting it out for the title, but I'm very interested to see how far I get.

I did one extra race at 21:50 just in case the other lads made it, and I managed to race Belifant in that one. I came 1st, Belifant 2nd but there weren't any referees or Fujiwara Kun in that race.

This weekend there have been an incredibly large number of disconnections at all times of day, I remember GTP_stealthwinnr did not manage to connect to a SINGLE online race in over 6 hours of attempting on Friday night. I don't know if that's been the cause of Fujiwara's no-show, he has PM'ed me saying he failed to connect to host on both occasions.

All in all though, great racing, loads of fun and a deserving winner, can't wait for the next stage

Really sorry guys, first race was my fault, sixaxis got disconnected cause of waiting for the race to start, then i was a bit too late. I don't know what went wrong with the third race though, i was on time as scheduled. Just had a race at 50 with Synwraith, so it's not that hard to enter for me either

Even i was far out of competition, I enjoyed the race and had you guys in sight, did my best lap times so far

Dis-connections havent be that much of a problem today atleast. In that last race I went in a xx:50, thought I had the wrong time so cancelled, checked the clock again, xx:50.... damn! re-entered the race and still managed to get in!

Since I got my new 20mb connection (I feel obliged to say it's with Virgin, as I'm very pleased with it) I haven't been disconnected from the network once. Also, the races have got so much smoother, with practically NO lag in all other racers...

Didn't have a problem at all tonight!

No problem for the near miss at the hairpin Jack, but it did make me paranoid. When in the lead, I found myself checking my mirrors to make sure you wern't nudging Synwraith along to catch me up haha!!

Great races again Maz, knew it'd be fun and clean racing against you after our practise race the other week.

I did my fastest time of a 2'17.2xx in the 3rd race too!

Thanks for the kind words, but I know timeattack07gt always has a second over me at any track, in any car.....other than the GTR at Fuji

Can't wait to see what the next event is (and if there's enough people to get through lol).

Hey man, I know RPM changed the DC tune more to his liking and he had about 0.5 on me at least.

I used Lars's DC tune pretty much to the letter only softening the rear damper in an attempt to encourage a bit more turn in...someone will probably now inform me I should have softened the front

But yeah, DC tune is solid and should easily see you through to round 2. It gives all the expected characteristics of a 4WD tune to the TT and my experience of running the STi around on S2s so much back in the day helped me out a lot. I know that will apply to you as well.

I have just used my Sixaxis, for the first time since I bought my wheel last week. Alls I can say is "HELP".

OMG Talk about over steer, with the anologue sticks. Just shows how much skill is involved in using the Sixaxis within this game.

I better get some practice in between now and Wednesday.
