Go ahead and hate me... because the answer is no (responding to Throttlehappy's question).

I can't imagine PD giving Australia too much time and love (or much more than GT4) - they'd rather put in more Skylines I'm guessing. I'm also guessing that with the increased detail of GT5 and the dev time needed to create such high detail cars and tracks (not to mention generally getting used to the PS3 hardware), the number of cars will go down again (like GT3 did after GT2). Which makes the possibility of more Australian stuff much less likely IMO.

If they have time to include any Australian track in GT5, BATHURST is the one, the only, that MUST be included. If its not, I'll be very disappointed.

BATHURST MOUNT PANORAMA is my second favorite track in the world after the Nurb. If they don't include it, PD are fools.

Knowing PD and their love for photomode, I'd even wager they'd include a fictitious Sydney street course and omit Bathurst. Simply, because it would be better scenery and look nicer for the international audience that GT is made for. Just look at Opera Paris - they can evidently just go the scenic route without any thought to an enjoyable track layout!

I really think everyone is getting ahead of themselves sprouting off every Australian track and car they'd like to see – I can only imagine PD including one Australian track in GT5, if that. There are many other priorities for the dev team than Australian content (getting online in, damage (hopefully this time), MORE Skylines, more versions of Fuji (just invent some because there aren't enough real world versions to include), more arcadey, unrealistic ice/rally stages, getting the stick hanging over the road in Trial Mountain looking appropriately hi-res etc).
