(Promo done in time trial because I'm lazy)

This car feels amazing around the track, but it will punish you for poor driving habits (especially on worn tires). Barcelona doesn't give a damn about your front left either. Mind the kerbs, and the wear/fuel rates are set so hopefully there will be some different strategies. You may like the RS all the way, but is it going to be worth the time you lose in the pits? We shall find out.

I would say on the RS, mid 1:40s would be a good goal for most as my skill is totally dependent on the car and track. I was good at Nur24 but trash at Suzuka in the Porsche. 1:39 is fast and I was able to clock that (you have to be clean though), while I think 1:38 is possible if you have PARTY MODE.

There is a drop-off on performance with the RS, low enough to where I think the RM drivers will catch you if you stay out.

Many laps will be required for me to learn and become consistent at that track. Early on - I keep mistaking a corner for a different one. Many frustrating excursions off track follow those mistakes.

Thank you for providing a Lap time goal.

No problem. Hopefully the announcement a day early can give people time to practice and put some sick liveries on the cars

I just did the daily race there and guys are running 145 on rh in gr3s lol

I do want to say thanks to everyone in our endurance chat that has helped me pick out a new wheel I have never had one with ffb but after some getting used to it is fantastic now I just have to find the speed

You got a G29 right?
Honestly you can't go wrong, especially for the price.

I didn't figure it would be much cheaper even on black Friday then I would of had to wait for them to ship it so I just went and got it

Yea I picked up a t300 last weekend just havent had time to put time into getting used to it
Lol there definitly some growing pains getting used to the ffb and the pedals on them feel extremely good on the g29 I caught myself actually using way to much brake input at first

I know me too i was going to use it for endurance race the other night but I didn't feel comfortable and it was going to make for a tougher night then it was

Finally getting comfortable at Barcelona - not very fast, but becoming consistent in lap times.
Am hopeful that our race will be enjoyable and without a lot of "unintended consequences" due to impatience.
@BradESPN - Are we going to Qualify, or be lined up according to Division Standings?

This season is by qualifying 1 outlap and 1 qualifying lap. Just like on a typical Sunday night.

FYI - for those who haven't driven many laps yet, especially in traffic.

Group 2 cars are bad for losing downforce in dirty air - if you've practiced a lot driving alone - you'll know what I mean when I say that you have lots of grip coming out of corners.
When you're following somebody, you don't have the same downforce, and you can/will slide if you push the car pretty hard, so just be careful and expect a lack of downforce coming out of those high speed corners.

Also, side note - this track is a PAIN to drive with a controller, so many corners where if you turn just a hair too much you start to slide.

Glad to see this is a challenge. Not to mention loss of downforce is not good for your tire wear.

I did a lot of the daily c races just getting used to traffic and even in the gr3 it was the same way u lose a ton of grip here in traffic

Yea I did a custom race yesterday a couple times started in the back and the loss of aero is crazy especially on corner exit the car gets so lose...after about 50 laps of practice I got my lap times down to 1.42's

Your consistency will beat me
