It was not my intent to go through and have everyone pick their SC cars before picking the GT cars, but... it has worked out that way.

And I didn't get confirmation from Bowler (my own captain), but I think he is going to stick with the Z34. If you aren't, just let me know.

I don't mind if someone runs the same car in a different class. For example, if CSLACR wants to run the fifth generation Mustang in the GT class, he is welcome to.

I would worry about his judgement a little, but he is welcome to doom his team. 👍

My GT car choice is the Ferrari California'08.

Great choice

Also, welcome to my team DiabolicWyvern, I will message you setups to start off with tomorrow, add me on PSN.

I picked people that I know the best. Unknowns, to me, went to bottom of my list. People who I race with most often went to the top.

Wow, absolute last pick. Then again, I'm a nobody. xD

In all fairness, the lists ran out and there were five drivers left to pick. At that point, I started rolling dice. You were last only by chance.

I was last in the draft last season. But that is because everyone knows just how slow I am. :P When they say I have good ideas it is like saying I have a good personality. Cause I ain't pretty (or fast).

:D

Edit: Sorry, you were not last. The odd rounds went top to bottom, the even rounds went bottom to top. You were the first pick in the last round. Two more drivers were picked after you.

You've got to get that out of your head Vol! You drive plenty fast, the thing that will keep you near the front is believing that and 'not watching the bunnies' :)

I know easier said than done, but in our testing for most of the tracks you were very close to your teammates in pace. And I've seen you chase down and pass D3 and D2 drivers.

So there :P

Last season I chased down faster drivers because I had a much better car. No offense, but I think the Z33 didn't fade as bad as the Mazdas did.

This past Sunday was horrible. I didn't pass anyone unless they crashed. And all night long, as people caught up to me and passed me, I wasn't able to keep up with them. At one point I was asking about HP and such just to make sure my cars were broken in (and they were).

We'll see how it goes this season.

You are definitely faster than you think Vol. I followed you for plenty of laps. I think it comes down to how well you know a track. If you don't know it well you struggle to get decent lap times in, like I do. If you have learned the lines breaking points, acceleration points etc, then you can compete with D2 and D3 drivers for sure regardless of car.

I sent my initial car tunes to my drivers and they are going to start testing soon. I am all giddy with excitement.

Is there a way to stagger the two different classes so they don't run at exactly the same time? I'd like to watch both my teams drive if possible ;)

Do you have a usb Flashdrive because then you can watch the uploaded replay by Vol.

I found out recently that I will be out of town next week. Can someone take my spot for 1 race? I'm in for the rest.

Whoever would like to take his place, can you message me privately beforehand.

No. Because drivers like me could "miss" a race, just to get a better driver in to be a ringer for a week and boost my team's score.

But, don't worry... we are going to drop the lowest score of each driver over the season. So, as long as you don't miss any other races, then you'll be just fine.

Okay, so I've put together the spreadsheet. I got the formulas working better this time.

I need to work out the lap counts.

Oh, and GT class will be on Racing Mediums.

I can't wait to race the Shelby on Sports Softs @ Suzuka. I've raced this car @ the Ring and it was very fun.

Okay, I got tired of waiting on people. Sorry. Next season, I'll do a better job of scoping things out.

I've posted all of the car picks that I had. jtqmopar can pick a car for the GT class as long as it isn't already picked.

Another caveat, I don't know that Bowler is settled on the DB9. We may run the Z34 in both classes. But he wanted to test out the DB9. Not sure if he had a chance to do that.

Regrettably, there is no G37 in the game. That would've been nice symmetry.

Well, I was gonna work on the Mach, but I have had input from a driver as to another car. I am going to send a few pm's to the rest of the team and see which car they favor more.

Yeah, they were worried about you. :)

lol, I work full time so I don't always get on. Especially since I got all the seasonals finished. I log on and get bored quick

edit: GT car will be the V12 Vantage

I did mention that too many changes and this could get quite bogged down before long....

Teams should be picked first next time, that way everyone can agree on a car. It has been pointed out to me that our mustang is slower than the rest of the pack. And, testing the SVT, which I wasn't aware could fit regs, I knocked 2.02secs off at suzuka. And, that's with understeer when off the gas!

I'll see what I can do with the new one guys, I wish they had the Bullitt or 03-04 Mach 1 instead of the 3V.

So when do we learn about the classes?
Like who's driving what class, or is everyone driving both? I missed something there.
