Sony Gamescom press - GT6 appearance

Can anyone answer my question though? Will I now be getting the 25 cars if I ordered it when there was just 20 cars? I'm assuming yes since it's the same link I ordered from but I just want to be sure. I want to get the 25 and not the 20 if I'm paying the same price from the same place.

It'll probably be a code on your receipt to redeem for the cars. You will get the same content anyone else pre-ordered. You'll get them all don't worry.

No one cares to discuss new physics?

I think that was mentioned around the time of E3 if not before. I'm glad that lift will show up in the game. I didn't like that most street cars had 0/0 downforce when some should lift off the ground and some should have downforce.

EDIT: HSV 15th anniversary looks amazing.

I like how the camera panned out to include the audience when they showed the GT6 trailer.

Because we all want to see the audience when a new trailer is being shown right?

But from what I was able to see, the day/night Apricot Hill got me giddy like a kid on Christmas Eve.

I also find it hard for them not to add the precision pack as well if you preordered beforehand. Gamestop will likely send you a message notifying the matter

Anybody else a bit confused by this:

That sounds just like it was in GT5... unless they're telling us all the DLC will be free?

The mention something similar in the Tracks section. I think they are trying to say that the DLC cars from GT5 will be available in GT6 for free as part of the in-game car list. However, what confuses me is the "update" thing.

Yes, but they didn't go into specifics, and there's a very important line in the aero paragraph.

"The down force, lift and air resistance – which continually changes according to the shape of the car..."

What I'm getting from this, is that aero will be affected by car damage. That is a pretty big change for the series.

Did anyone already see this on the US GT6 site?
A list of all cars from GT5 that will cary over to GT6:

http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/cars/

Also, there are some new info about the new online lobby in the online section of the site (http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/online/)

So, in the new GT6 garage, we should be able to TEST DRIVE DLC for sale but, not race the DLC until we purchase the ones for sale. Makes good sense. I'll buy them all anyway.

The BBC can't do exclusive deals - so the Top Gear track being gone is PD not renewing the license.

Just noticed the pairing off of the Karma and Z8 in the trailer; nice nod to their designer 👍

Didn't you have to go into a separate menu to 'activate' the DLC in GT5? I guess they got rid of that.

Yeah, you had to "Install" them. Looks like for GT6, they'll be automatically installed.

The "Pre-Order Trailer (US)" on the official website gives the date 12/6/2013, same as Europe. I thought the release dates were normally different? It was the US date format so I don't think they just put it in there on accident from the European trailer (if there is one).

Damage would be cool to see, but I expect the changes to be based moving aero parts like the Veyron, Huayra, etc. "Continuously changing" can only be something positive for physics department. 0/0 downforce cars in GT5 were static.

Find it interesting to see the Cizeta back. Wondering how PD managed to get the license for this car if the company no longer exists (as far as I know)? I don't quite remember it being owned by any other company like with Pontiac still under GM despite it also not existing.

In the description of the car from PDs website it says the company was brought back to life in 2003 by North-Americans. They suposeddly still make the car to order at a whopping $600,000. Who think it's actually worth it is beyond me.

So the 1200 cars includes standard versions of now premium cars... ahaha... damn.

Also, still standard Veyron? Hopefully a premium one is there too.

That's nice and all, but when PD can't even get something like slipstreaming even remotely close to being realistic, hearing things like this doesn't really get me very excited. Speaking of slipstreaming, it's just absolutely ridiculous in GT5. I don't remember too well how it was in GT1/2 but I think it was pretty good, but even 3 and 4 it was a bit overkill. In GT5? By far the worst it's ever been -- it's like NOS from The Fast & the Furious... totally kills all the fun in any race with a long straight. Hey look, I'm going to win this online race on the Nurburgring! Oh wait... the final straight... I'm just so damn sick of that... It's so bad that we have people weaving back and forth to prevent cars behind from slipstreaming because the effect is so incredibly exaggerated that it absolutely will and does change the result of races.

I've been doing the 24 Hours of Le Mans this past week and it's just a joke. You pass a slower car down a bunch of laps and make some distance right away, but it follows you all the way down Mulsanne, keeping right on your tail and looking for a pass because of the slipstreaming. When have you ever seen slipstreaming work anything like that in real life?

I'm blabbering on and on, I know, but it just baffles me how PD could get something as simple as slipstreaming so wrong... If right now the effect is at 100%, reduce it to about 5% (10% max) and it'd be realistic. It's just not even close to reality the way it is and that's a farce.

I think Cizeta is now owned by Citeron/Renault, nice seeing it now in premium but I really wanted to see the testarossa, anyway the cizeta was one of my favorite cars back in GT4, because it looked the closes to the testarossa. It is a good choice that PD chose a variety of unpopular cars in GT5 and bring them up in GT6 as the Cizeta was a underated. We see some new cars and some standards upgraded, and if you look at the ending of the trailer you will see some Le Mans race car speeding across, this is a new car in the GT series. One thing is that I hope from the 200 new cars we don't see any more dozens of GTR's, MX5's, there's already enough and we would like to see more Supra's and Premium Launcer's/Impreza's.

How you figure? They aren't classified as standard or premium anymore. So any of those on that list that are standards in gt5 could be premium in gt6.I think this was stated earlier..

I agree, here's to hoping that has been fixed as well.
