I wonder if this will be as difficult as some of the Mission enduros.

Who's going to be the first to do this? What car did you use, tires, pit strats, results? Will it rain?

I am thinking I'll try with the Jag on RHs. Maybe try with the new BRZ.

I’ll try it in my 458 on RH, fuel map 6 first and see how that goes. Probably try it with the Supra and R34 GT500 as well!

Tried the Ferrari group 3 car and I was in first by the end of the 2nd lap. I'm on Easy though so there's that. I don't see this one being nearly as difficult.

What a fun race.
Whent straight with the new WRX in to it. Fuelmap 3 hard tires.Pited lap 7 when starts to rain, Change to full wet map6. Lap 13 dryline went to hard map 3, then its start again to rain lap 17 back to full wet and finnished the race lap 23. had a couple spinns but for first try a lot of fun :) there are more laps in it, will see. I defenetly drive this one over and over again.
AI no prob, lap them all.
For this race alone huge shout out to Pd \(._.)/

Stock? Or you upgraded it with turbo or something to get closer to 800pp?

It was really easy to win (hard difficulty).
I used McLaren f1 GTR Race car 97 - 1:00:42,07
Second place +35,18
2 pit-stops,
Fuel economy 3-2. And after the last pit-stop used fuel economy 1
Tires RH for all race.

I made a lot of mistakes, and still won. I think I can get -30sec on the next try.

Based on my race it is for just two stops. Starting with medium, change to wet and second stop to intermediates. I wrongly changed to dry tyres during 2nd stop, but it started raining again. So I ended 2nd with 38 sec gap which is one extra pit stop I did...

New BRZ GT3 is fun to drive.

I guess everyone will have a different scenario. Me in the BRZ 1hr1min, P2 was a Lap down, after finishing in the pits, as I started the last lap. Lots of rain, beginning at night. Wet track through to the finish. RM/IW/RH/IW 🌶 🌶 difficulty

easy win for supra GT500, this will rotate nicely with the lemans 30min for a credit grind, I didn’t get CRB though and was particularly careful not to touch any Ai cars or cut so must be super sensitive due to size of the payout, if I can’t guarantee the CRB it’s less useful but still a fun race

Didn’t someone say earlier that they had loads of bumps and spins but still got it??

Do the AI use the turbocharger? I don’t want to use an OP car.
No, i dont think so. I didnt use it, and lap tem all with gr.3 ;)

Edit: i did use turbo mid rpm but went for fuelmap3.
I did it again without turbo on fuelmap 1
Same result.

Okay, so, what I did was absolutely not a meta strat, but I did win against hard AI, so I'll post it. I used the Gr.1 Tomahawk, just to have something really easy to drive consistently for an hour. It can one stop the race with neither fuel nor tyre wear (RH) being a problem. However, I lost a huge amount of time staying out on the RH tyres in the wet, my slowest lap was 90 seconds slower, so I think there's no doubt you're better off pitting for IM or W tyres, as you can get the time back in just one lap. It looked fairly close at one point, as Portilla was 50 seconds ahead of me, but he made several more stops late in the race, including one before the very last lap. and finished over a lap behind me.

I got the CRB despite going off the track loads in the wet, including getting a 4.5 second penalty at one point, and I also drove pretty hard into the back of AI cars several times when they parked themselves on the racing line in front of me.

honestly I was just skimming through so sorry if I missed that, I didn’t have any incidents, it’s great news if that’s the case maybe I was just unlucky 🤷🏻‍♂️

used the McLaren F1 GTR. it rained twice, first time relatively lightly and then with about 20 mins to go rained very heavily. I spun out and crashed, severely damaging the whole car including engine, literally 3 times during the course of the race, and I still won with a 40 seconds gap to p2. hard difficulty

it's very difficult to focus or care at all when it's so ridiculously easy. perhaps the fault lies with me using a detuned group 2 car, and how the pp system just isn't very good at calculating different catagories of car. might have been even easier in my 787b. pathetic honestly

I was about 95% of the way done before the dog decided to mess with my controller while I was using the wheel, causing me to lose all functions on the wheel and crash into a wall from a comfortable lead.

A gr3 car with default settings seems to work fine on hard difficulty, I was using the 911 and went with RH/W/W but I think the inters are good enough.

The AI make a lot of mistakes.

Yes Ai dosnt pitstop the right way, when i went for slik lap 13 ai stay on IM close before it rains again and ai change to slik tires and i change to wet. This is where i start to lap the ai.

I think that aspect is a bit random depending on the weather. Portilla looked like he was going to do a pretty fast two stop race quite close to the end of my race, and was way ahead of me after what I thought would be his last stop, it was only fairly close to the end that he made unnecessary stops and threw it.

I won the race in my Sauber C9, loved every second of it. Even got the clean race bonus after wiping out big time in a corner and running into a wall.
The car can do half the race comfortably in fuel map 1, had it at 6 when the rain got heavy because to TC made it tricky to control.
Great event overall, now we need PD to add 50 more like it for variety :D

You must love the maggiore human comedy mission then

@breeminator What's the tune for it.

Just finished in the McLaren. Full attack fuel 1 up to lap 8 and rain started. Pitted changed to wets. The McLaren is completely OP for the race. Stuck dry tyres on with about twenty minutes left and daft arse hadn’t been checking the weather. First lap flying on the dry line, was way ahead of everyone then a biblical flood came. I limped all the way to the pits, put on wets and was flying again. Passed everyone as they were in the pits. Last lap my wet tyres died and was overtaken on the long flat out part leading to the last chicane. Ended up finishing fifth. If I’d been watching the weather I would have won by a mile. Still got the clean race bonus so 500000 odd credits. Can’t wait to try again and surely we will get a ring one hour next update.
Excellent addition to the grind schedule.

@RacinLei I was the same, minute ahead and my tyres fell off a Cliff last lap, was like Dirt 2 every corner. Last straight before chicane 4 got past as I was drifting like a pro down to the chicane. Gutted 😞

Finally won on third attempt. Second attempt I pitted and didn’t change tyres so quit and started again.
Fuel 1 hard racing tyres to lap 8, pitted for wets, put traction control on 1 fuel on 3 till about 17, pitted for hard racing tyres and cruised to the end. Only rained once. McLaren is way too good for the opposition. Probably more fun in a gr3. Got clean race bonus.
