Disapointed!! Yes Spa is great but is that all? I expected 10 new tracks or at least tracks from GT4. Like the added suits like WRC and the Stig though. Cars aren't that exciting.

Well that was a nice surprise, no way was I expecting to get Spa, and I'm happy with the car pack too :). I'll be buying the whole lot.

One question though, I'm in an online lobby, I set the track to Spa, what happens to the people who don't have the DLC?

Ha! What SlyckTires said, basically.

People won't be able to join more than likely, and those that are in after the track changes to it or the Kart Track will likely get kicked out the room, at least that's how Wipeout did it.
 
I just want new tracks and cars, but $7,99 + $4,99 > $11,99 so I'm going to buy a complete pack.

Release date: 10/18/2011 - can't wait :D
 
When the track pack DLC was announced I said I'd definitely buy it if Spa, Silverstone or Pikes Peak were in it... I just wasn't counting on it only containing two tracks and costing that much! Still buying it, though, because Spa is just awesome. I downloaded it for Race 07 and tried it in the Formula BMW, which may have been aiming a little high given that the last time I went round Spa was a good few years ago in a Ferrari of some kind in Ferrari Challenge.

Edit: I want the tracks and cars, too, so I'll probably get the complete pack anyway. The R32 touring car does sound relevant to my interests, I'd even like to try the Prius out, actually, I bet that's fun.
 
I hoped for some tracks from GT4 as I have never played that game and I just loved those videos of citta di aria or amalfi, but SPA is grat news too :)

GT4 had some really great tracks, that i'm sad didn't make their way into GT5. If we get them, you are in for a treat. :)
 
i'll likely get everything but spa is the only thing that makes my pants dance.

would've preferred production cars DLC over touring cars but PD can have more of my money later down the line.

the paints and gear are a throw in.
 
Now, they need to have a whole series of races for spa for when you download it, Sprint, time trials, endurance, series etc. Not just have the track and have it lost in amongst the rest of them.

This is a long 7km circuit located in eastern Belgium, in a hilly region near the German border. With a long history behind it, it is famous for its many historic moments in racing.

Brilliant! Spa is by far my favourite track of all time! Just wondering has anyone ever tried making it in track maker? And was it any good?
 
Spa is a pleasant surprise, it's a wonder it hasn't been heard about.

It's a great idea from Spa's perspective, they need cash, so this will help to publicize the circuit so more people will travel like we do "the ring" to drive it on their "public days".
 
I think they really put their heart into creating Spa for GT5. One of the reasons we don't have more circuits in this DLC package. More tracks down the line hopefully. Definitely want Citta back or some sort of successor track.
 
Wow! Spa was the track I most wanted! Be awesome seeing which cars can take Eau Rouge / blanchimon flat out, but a *little* disappointed they didn't put in day / night as there are 24hr races here, but nevertheless gonna buy this soon as!
 
When GT5 gets Bathurst and some Aussie cars, possibly a V8 Supercar. Now that would make me happy. I was thinking there would be more new cars and more then 2 tracks but doesn't matter, i hope theres more down the track. :drool:
