Special Event - Nurburgring Nordscheife B-spec Challenge

My bob refuses to pass. Speed up, overtake, nothing =\. Using the Nismo Z. Guess I gotta switch car and bobs. He's in 16th place about to go down the long straight on the first lap. Absolutely refusing to pass guys and braking HELLA early.

Got gold first try with my Level 40 Bob and a Nismo Z, stock.

Great idea and not to the now boring three race three pp formula. Hopefully the next A Spec will show similar imagination. Nice one PD.

Has anyone here been able to take the lead on the first lap with absolutely 0% coaching? I've been able to take the lead at the end of the 2nd lap with 0% and am having a blast tweaking my Takata Dome '03 setup to see if I can improve.

This one is pretty awesome. ..... Barely won it.

Same here....enjoyed that one:)

I used a Xanavi Nismo GT-R with the gears up one notch so it could pass after slipstreaming on the straight instead of just sitting in the queue bouncing off the rev limiter.

1st attempt started on hards and let it pit for inters for the 2nd lap....never won.
2nd attempt I started on inters but never won that one either.
3rd attempt I started on hards, kept Bob in the red and cancelled the requests to pit to take the lead near the end of the last lap....

....was a nice clean and close run race:tup:

pretty easy with my 39lvl BOB using a Calsonic Impul GTR. I just had to stop him to go to the pits and he did that 3 laps with racing hard in 22:56.320 minutes

I used the Premium Honda Arta NSX for it with a High RPM turbo and used the power limiter to get it down to 600PP. I used a level 39 Bob and Racing Hards and didn't pit at all. Won by around 20 seconds.

just won 1st time with honda takata dome nsx 06 time 23:06.206 and won 2,000,000 with my 200% and i have 20,000,000 :D cant have any more credit

my drive is @ lvl 33

Won this one on the second attempt, both with my very stubborn lvl 40 bob (even though his attitude is an even one, a cool hothead, he just wants to drive, not race!! I keep hitting pace up like a whip), first I went with sports softs only, no pit stop, lose by 2.2 seconds. Then on the second attempt went with race hards, again no pit stop, full whipping on the second lap, won by 9 seconds. Takata NSX 06 with mid-rpm turbo and ballast to the front to reach 600pp.

That was fun, thanks PD!

Won with a honda nsx arta, full tuned..start RH, pit after lap 1, change to intermediate tires..no pitstop anymire, easy win...get the toyota gt-one with the ticket..my third one ;)

ARTA NSX Done it for me, seem to do the same thing as most people by switching to inters at the end of 1st lap. Thankfully the tune was good and my level 31 bob won it easy but it was an interesting race to watch. Good work PD

Won it on the second go by 9 seconds with my Epson NSX. Used a Mid-Range turbo and sport softs with no pits. Set the transmission to 340km/h, should've used 350 probably. Either way a wicked fun race. PD can be amazing when they try a bit.

Yeah, Good to have a race with weather and a little strategy. Good job Pd.
It'd be great to have an Aspec seasonal like this, why have they never made
any I wonder?

Racing Hards, no pit stops, pushing Bob like a crazy until he has reached the lead (at the first quarter of lap 2) then simply let him drive free.

Easy win on 1st attempt with a lvl 28 bob and a Castrol Toms Supra (P).
AI driving was quite crazy and my bob got punted off numerous times.
Disappointing to see it was a one time only event.
What is the point of making it non-repeatable??? Everything is there, there's no technical difference between this and a normal event in terms of implementation.
So why make an even that becomes obsolete the minute you win it???

So to sum up:  then  and finally :banghead:

Probably limited due to the $1Mil prize, why not limit it to one prize, but drive all you want?

I thought I owuld let my OLD Bspec lady have a dash - Level 40 but her teeth fell out last year, I plugged in the Old Tom's Supra 99 (Premium one) and o pure stats it looked to be - out of its depth, overweight and underpowered...

I didn't do any coaching, but my driver was stuck behind a Castrol NSX for ages, she got passed and close dup on another gaggle of cars, but never really got close enoguh to make a pass. By now it was raining, and I rushed for the controller to order a pit... but Rochelle was on the ball and pitted automatically... unfortunatly a Raybrig NSX got crossed up with another car in the pit lane entry area... bang unt bangen

ONto inters and she had a big gap to close up, she did manage to reel in the cars ahead, and dispatched a few but by the end of lap 2 the rain had stopped and the cars that had not stopepd were over the hill and far away. She came in 8th but still got a huge bratwurst of cash.

Maybe a more modern super GT car will give her parity to make passes on her own. But the old Supra (And a restrictor plate) didn't have the grunt to make passes on the opening lap.

Maybe some coaching will help.

Bit of a shame there wasn't an ASpec event that was as tough - the Time trials were pathetically easy.

Yeah, it's a joke. It's bad enough we can't do this ourselves. But having one-time B-spec events is ridiculous. Espeically after we had the Spa and Circuit de la Sarthe B-spec event in the past where you could earn 4,000,000 credits every time you won. Why make an event now limited to 1,000,000 Cr. that can only be obtained once?

PD's way of thinking really needs to questioned.

You seem surprised!

First attempt: Xanavi NISMO Z, transmission set to 205. Finished fourth.
Second attempt: Xanavi NISMO GT-R, transmission set to 211. Finished second (the EPSON NSX behind him overtook on the back straight).
Third attempt: Raybrig NSX, oil change, stage three engine tuning, stock transmission setup (223 maybe?) Finally won. And I got a Toyota GT-ONE. A standard car that's worse than the premium cars I bought to win the race. Just one thing: It was a level 23 ticket. WHERE'S MY CHAPARRAL 2J!? That was the only reason I bothered! :banghead:

EDIT: I know it wasn't a 2J ticket, it was a level 23 ticket, which only gave me a chance of getting a 2J, but that doesn't make me any happier.

This race was way to easy IMO. Started with Racing Hards on lap 1. Pitted at the end of lap 1 for intermediates in 2nd place, fell back to 9th but took the lead back at the first banked turn. My finishing time was a 22:38.2 and the gap to 2nd is unknown because I was too far ahead. My guess it was at least 30 seconds.
The car was a Takata Dome NSX 03 with a level 35 bob. It is also my first and only attempt at this challenge.

Sports Soft + Mobil 1 NSX, easy win for lvl 35 Bob. No pitting had 1st place by about 9 minutes into the race then he just ran away with it. Total race time was just over 22 minutes.
