Special Event - Nurburgring Nordscheife B-spec Challenge

Raybrig NSX level 3 motor, level 2 turbo, racing softs, no pitting easy win even with my level 26 bob

This ones too easy i think - compared to the notorious le mans b-spec a while back. Mobil1 nsx wth RI front/SS rear was easy victory 1st try. Required only cancelling pits on coaching. Bob level 36. But nice try PD. Would be a challenge with 4 or 5 laps..

I used the Calsonic Impul GT-R and took a chance and stayed out when it rained (on RH tires). Cancelling the stops my lvl 40 bob had them owned before the end of the 2nd lap. It would have been more interesting with a couple more laps and no rain stoppage.

Currently attempting this with a Takata Dome NSX on RH. Not going to pit. Wish this was an A spec with the same amount of EXP points... *sigh* one can only wish though.

First two Bob's, lvl 33, flamed out bad finishing 11th Lexus Denso SC430, then my best win .pct guy in Lambo 7th. Next guy up in Lamborghini takes lead early in 3rd lap, big lead before Karrousel, red cars close up, a pace up command and stretch out for easy win. 3 races to Gold, tout fini. Tires were RH to start then pit with rest of bottom half for inters after 1 lap.

Raybrig NSX. Turbo 3. Tune down to 600PP. Gave him some coaching on first lap, was in 1st before end of 1st lap. Canceled Pit Stop at end of 1st lap, and at beginning of 2nd lap. Walked away. Came back with a Bentley Speed 8 and 1.5M in bank (only at 150% right now)

I definitely felt going with the intermediate tires off the start was the best decision. No need for a pit, in one of the NSX's you can still catch the people on RH tires when its dry, and easily outperform them on the 2nd and 3rd laps. I won by at least 40 seconds.

I've done this twice with the "06 Takata Dome NSX. 1st time with RH tires and no coaching, driver ended up getting 14th place. The 2nd time with RH tires, I pushed my driver hard. without a pit and he was in 1st place about mid-way through lap 2. Once my driver gets in 4th place from 16th, fatigue sets in and he seems to settle for 4th and doesn't want to pass anymore, even after my "Pick Up The Pace", "Overtake" commands, so I let him settle down on his own, "Pace Down" and then "Pick Up The Pace" again.

Whoever said avoid toyota is nuts! I've beaten in twice once with woodone supra '03 and now with denso sard supra '00 with a no pit stops!

edit:running a 36 bob, cars tuned stock except downforce, and added weight for pp req

I used the Xanavi GTR 1st time round and got nowhere, didn't even bother finishing it.
2nd time around I used the Diablo and got up to 3rd on the last lap without pitting and every time he got close to taking the lead, he lost it and went off track.

My driver is level 28 I think. Any tips on getting into 1st place? Or try it again and cross my fingers?

Stick with the Diablo, sometimes a slightly lower rated B-Speccie needs a couple 'learning' runs before he gets it. Use Sport Softs with no pits and he should get in.

Push it to the limit ;)

Car with oil change and miles to get it up to 600PP without a big turbo or extra downforce?

Racing hards, no pitting, gears up one notch from default to increase top speed a wee bit and just keep telling him to go faster....seems to work for me in the same car.

Used my Nomad Diablo and a level 39 Bob. And had some real problems. Stayed on racing hards the whole race and took the lead halfway through lap 2. 10 seconds clear going into lap 3. Bob still fresh and running at three quarters aggression. He then lost his entire lead with a couple of offs. Rebuilt it to about 5 seconds. Had another spin and lost the lead. But then managed to overtake on the final long straight, and won by less than a second. But I don't get how he can drive like a god in the pouring rain and on slick tyres. Yet on a rapidly drying track, he was all over the place.

Raybirg, slight tuning up to 599PP, hard slicks, no problem. Easy win with cold bob far ahead.

Just wondering about the tickets/prizes. Some say they god 1M+ticket, some are talking about 400k and no ticket etc... Seems strange, i got 1M and overalls for Bspec, got the ticket for finishing time trials. Something wrong here?

Yeah, it's a joke. It's bad enough we can't do this ourselves. But having one-time B-spec events is ridiculous. Espeically after we had the Spa and Circuit de la Sarthe B-spec event in the past where you could earn 4,000,000 credits every time you won. Why make an event now limited to 1,000,000 Cr. that can only be obtained once?

PD's way of thinking really needs to questioned.

Of course, given your request for repeatable prizes for events and higher prizes, you would likely expect 20,000,000 from a simple 2h event:indiff:

Not easy to please everyone, I see...

This one is pretty awesome. Did it with the Mobil 1 NSX. Started with RH. Started raining on the first lap. Half the field (including me) pitted for Inters and half stayed out. Rain stopped at the end of the second lap. Inters got chewed up. Barely won it.

And 16 cars!

OT: I wonder if PD intentionally made the SS tyres as grippy, and more durable than the inter/rain tyres just to give people a fighting chance (or in my opinion, an easy way out) in these events...

All I'm expecting is some consistency by making prize money obtainable more than once. Not too much to ask for.

It's not a matter of prize money.

The fact is, GT5 needs more seasonal events.
Remeber how PD deleted the numerous events where you could race a wide range of cars against similar competition?

So when PD gives us "one time only" B-spec events there are players that disagree with their priorities. That is all.

Well I won on my 1st try, forget the car, the top one in Premium from my garage when I clicked on the race. Won easily with a stop at the end of lap one for Intermediates and an order to keep going at the end of lap 2 on the fast deteriorating Inter's got me a comfortable win. I then tried it on RH with the same car and won again.

Since then I've tried a few cars and the best I could get was a second with as low as 8th. My last race with thee Woodone Toyota saw me keep on RH and run 4th on the last lap from Flugplatz, where I caught the lead three, to the finish with Bob being overly polite and refusing to acknowledge my frequent pass instructions or my increasingly bad language!

Won this ( lvl 39 Bob) with the Mobil 1 NSX, 552hp, 1150kg. I started with Sport Softs and kept them, no pitting. My Bob was first after 4 corners of Lap 2. Curiously, only one car pitted between lap 1 and 2 to put interns, it was the leading car. All others didn't pit and stick with RH, even if the rain was hard. Took me 22:35 to complete it.

Won with lvl 31 bob, mobil 1 NSX with RH tyres and no pit in. Was pacing up untill i was 1st then just watched tv. Got Chapparal 2J from the ticket, which i didn't have before so that was nice. :)

Used my Mobil 1 NSX back from the Spa seasonal, with it's Sports Soft tires still equipped. Didn't pit at all, won by 40+ seconds.

Borrowed a car - Told not to mess with anything - but I had to drop the Restrictor as it was 3pp too rich. That sorted - took to the track with my next oldest driver, a lot of a hot head.

The car was a Epson NSX 2008 with SS tyres some Suspension tweaks, a default LSD fro what I could see.

My driver was able to pass much of the pack on the first lap, Not held up behind the backmarker.

In clear air she was zipping along, reeled in the pack, and when they pitted she was up to 4th or 3rd, this became the lead in short order as the leaders on Race Hards slipepd about. Then I just tried to keep her smooth, keep pace near the middle, this let her pull 2-5 seconds per sector over the chasers.

Nice event.

Such a diference with the Mobil NSX1...

Even stock (no tuning) it literaly kills the oposition...
Only added a High RPM Turbo...

A walk in the park victory... :D

Chat soon. :)

Finally won after 3 attempts.

Bob is level 32 and car is the Petronas Tom's SC430 '08 (Stage 3 engine tuning) by 17 seconds.

Strategy is no pitstop with Racing Hard tires all the way.

Price is the Peugeot 905 Race Car '92.

True! I tried before with the Takata from premium dealership, tuned and it were not as fast. My Mobile 1 nsx isn't even tuned, at 597pp.

Got an easy win with a hot level 38 driver, and a 600PP Mobil 1 NSX. Got to 6th at the end of the first lap, and changed to Inters, then just stayed on those to the end. Bob was hot pretty much through the whole race, and I just told him to pace down at the last corner(s) of the last lap, and he won easily with a 23:12 time, about 12s ahead of the pack.

Just tried with a Petronas Tom's SC430 '08, not won yet. Stage II/III turbos, engine power reduced to make the pp low enough, but no luck yet. My main driver is W. Smith at level 39 although I'm tempted to stick my H. Maldonado at level 38 in because it might work out better(!)

Gonna try a different car now, probably an NSX of some kind.
