This sums up my weekend with STTR.

Wow, so much to try and catch up on now that I'm back from vacation. Unfortunately my internet coverage was spotty at best while away so I didn't get a chance to go online for much of anything for a week. I feel so cut off.
Anyway, I know this is off topic but thought I would share and it's a bit of a follow up on what @Arveena started a week or so ago.

this is a demo my cover band recently did that I just found on youtube 2 minutes ago. Whoda thought? So who will be the first to guess which one is me and @MannYhAvitZ is NOT allowed as I believe he already knows.

YEAH IM LOOKIN' AT YOU!!!!

What have YOU done to increase SAC's chances in this week's GTPLANET ENDURANCE SERIES??
The SPINNING ARROWS CLUB has been given a great opportunity to show off our club, drivers, and team unity.
The series starts this weekend and we need YOUR help to practice with the drivers and offer help in anyway that YOU can!!!

The drivers for this week/month have been set for the most part as we're coming down to the wire... But this week we will need some serious help to train with our drivers...
Please stay tuned to the thread for upcoming practice sessions!!!!
We are in the GT4 class and will be running the XBOW STREET car....

Regardless if you will ever get to or want a chance to run in the main event - this is an AMAZING car at the power range they have selected and I can see our group running an AMAZING race with just us with this car....

SO.... prep your XBOW STREET to 215hp and 990kg
no aids except TC and ABS (racing hard)

The track is SILVERSTONE GP --- you are training and tuning toward about a 2:11-2:13 time...

if you want to start looking ahead - next month is MONZA..... We will begin some testing and competitions for those wanting to participate next month so begin prepping your car and looking ahead to MONZA if you are not participating at SILVERSTONE....

GOOD LUCK TO THE SAC TEAM THIS WEEK... LETS ALL COME TOGETHER AND PUT TOGETHER A SOLID PERFORMANCE FOR OUR INAGURAL RACE!!!

Hey Ole, wanna go into an open lobby later when you're online? I want to get to know everyone in this club eventually! :D

Hey boss
I'm at work now - I maaaay be on shortly tonight - but it's playoff hockey time of year and the Minnesota Wild have game 3... So I don't know how long I'll be on...

If I am it will be about 6:30 central time zone...

Add me as a friend if you haven't already!!

Hay Mazda,
It was too short of course but aren't all vacations? At least the weather was absolutely perfect all week. I didn't get a chance to stop at the Daytona Speedway but did manage to get a pic while driving beside it. I believe they were holding some sort of dirty NASCAR race at the time I went by. What a coincidence. I don't doubt it either as I think I saw a car flying over the rails.

It had better be the green one we all hate.

Hey Hey Heyyy, I've got some news for you guys on the GTP ES. The 4 hours of Silverstone will be broadcast live on youtube. It'll be early morning for anyone in North America, but guys like Patrick will be able to watch at a regular time of day. Links will be posted for you to click on and watch SAC's first official participation. A guide to car colour is going to be posted on the ES forum so you'll be able to find us on the track.

Slow in fast out is the key to a good time.
Let the car roll to the apex so you dont get the pesky understeer. And get on the gas asap. You dont loose time breaking to early you loose time breaking to late
Thanks! I did notice that the power distribution is rearward.

I rage quit after about 3 terrible tries
Only 3 tries??? :odd:

I HATE THE NISMO SO BAD!!!!
You'll hate all the cars from the GT-Academy...

Don't try to be at once that fast, it'll never work! Start a bit slower to successful complete the lap and then begin to be faster "lap by lap". So you'll learn to tame the car and to find the right brake points (and being patient)...
The car and the track are the same for each driver. You must adapt your own driving style!...
IMHO... :)
Good luck for your next attempts!
