STORAGETRUNKS GT3 SERIES - SLS AMG - 90 Minute Race Series- Monday Nights 19:00 UK- FREE SPOTSFinished

With it being 1'20 ish a lap , will group 3 not be setting off from the line as group 5 are crossing the line ? Could that not be potentially a huge crash ?

Yes, it would be close, but as group 5 are starting from a standing start they will probably be around 1.25 ish at best.

After group 5 and group 4 have left the grid, the remaining groups will move forward to the start line, and to the sides of the track.

It may spice up the race a little, lets see.

yep exactly jf, 13:10 was seemed good idea at all, but a poor marker. i realised by watching replay later, theres distortion between circuit clock and total race time/countdown. exactly 20 seconds. probably due pre-start animation procedure. next time should be better to use and watch overall race time(right side above) or countdown(below track clock). 1st: seconds there 2nd: i did check whole grid, all players same. NOTE! dont be foolish via watching your own lap time counter! if all start immediately still ok, but because of our prestart procedure its difference will be terrible.

Maybe it will be sorted for the next race

Early runs at SS5 are great fun, we had several 30 minute races last night with 70 second, 50 second and 40 seconds start delays between drivers.

Very good times seem to be in the 1.19s and spread to 1 22 for most.

I think its a track that needs quite a lot of practice as many of the corners are blind and you need to keep near the wall to get good times.

Best to open a room with the correct settings in our club lobby, but have the lobby set to Public, you may get some new recruits.

Sorry for delay, my race review. I couldn't believe how quick pee and Francis made the gap, this was before I made any mistakes, no battles really, and when a driver from a group above me came up behind I knew there pace was quicker so I didn't see the point in fighting for position, star the second time you took me I ran wide as I was so busy thinking about letting you past without losing as much speed as I could, not blaming you my friend it was my fault for looking in my mirror rather than the road ahead :ouch:, Logic is right regarding mistakes, my main issue is mental rather than skill, I lost concentration and need to learn to find my pace and stick to it rather than go for my fastest lap every lap, and wait til i get quicker naturally by way of weight coming down due to less fuel and getting fresh tires on at the correct time, my fastest lap was 1.17.7, I am excited about Monday I feel I am getting closer to reaching some consistency, I just got frustrated by being alone and mentally rather than lack of skill is what cost me, also messed up pit strategy by way of coming out with far too much fuel in my last pit stop, i have no experience of endurance racing which is my main hindrance, as I am used to going hell for leather every lap, but I am learning with the help and patience of you guys and enjoy racing with you all, looking forward to Monday, night time frightens me but Brightness tip will come in handy, again massive respect to PEE and Francis, Francis I can pop round to your house if required and give you some advice on connection issues, I can get better/faster connection on my mobile than land line and I am in bloody Glasgow never mind out in Drymen. I need to concentrate on cutting mistakes out, big respect to Star as well you also had a blinder, well done all.

Pee you crack me up, Respect is mutual, I have no idea really what you really meant in previous post but it seems to be a positive comment so thanks, I look forward to more races with you, I will have room open tonight but I will have chat on as I get lonely sometimes, I am separated from my wife and going through a divorce and I am back in my mums, but I am stuck in my bloody room most of time alone so its good to play with chat at times especially when its not a serious race, but I have my racing rig and g27 (no not the reason for divorce, i was always mindful of spending time on it without neglecting my family time/duties) to keep me happy and when I am on it I am happy as a pig in S%&*^ :irked:, Peace and happiness to everyone.

P.S I am in for Monday as is Scotty Mutineer, he doesn't use internet really, so I am going to register him on GT Planet. and give him help using forum/website, hes a little older than me so we will let him off. Also Logic I have a few online friends who want to participate, I directed one of them to website on Monday but they didn't have the car. there is a room I play with most nights, about 5-6 of them are on every night so I will see if I can recruit some, and on a purely selfish basis they are at my skill level so will give me some racers to compete with until my skill level gets up to you guys' level, no Eraser I don't mean you, I have given up hope of ever getting near you, sorry my mistake I never ever had hope or desire to reach your level as you are just awesome and superbly fast, by far the fastest guy I have raced with by a country mile(pee that means a long way). PEACE. p.s Thanks again to Logic for all his efforts and time put in to give us all some fun.

In my opinion you are quickly becoming one f my most respected members!

Jam, practice in the club lobby on Public room settings.
Get you buddies to psn friend me.
Yes one did last Monday, but he had no car.
Just remember, you guys in group 5 have a 3 minutes advantage at the race start on Monday over the Elite guys,
and they will have traffic trying to get to you.
Of course group 2 and 3 are also pretty fast.
Practice like Pee does, and get consistent, and as fast as you can do without crashing.
I know all you group 5 guys can do faster laps than i can, but you got to remember to pace yourself.

Come join us sir :)
I'm down to mid 1:21's now :)

I'm hitting close to mid 1:20's now. About a second off the fast guys. 1:19.6's to 1:19.8's for the faster guys. Pee hit 1:20.2's :)
I kinda knocked it down to 1:19.2 after a tiny brake balance adjustment. :boggled: No idea how I got these lap times!

Wow, ok well ideally to make things fair, if you feel you are in the wrong group then yes you can request a move to a higher group.
However as you go up in groups generally the speed is better but also they dint crash as much so being fast is great, but you must be able to do it without crashing.

Anyway we can always change a drivers group if we think it's unfair for him or for the series.

I will be on tonight and have a lot of time to find.
