Glad you are back. I think from now on I'll begin every post with "No disrespect, BUT.....". Maybe that will work out.

No disrespect but........... I just got home. Finishing at 6 might be a problem. I hope to be there. :)
 
Lounge is open if anybody wants to practice. Around the .30 minute mark we will close my lounge and open a public lobby to qualify. I'm assuming a smaller numbers of drivers so I'm wondering if we should go mics on?

Anyway qualifying will last 30 minutes and then we will start the race. I will be taking down your qualifying times and listing the order as well.

Hope to see as much of you guys there as possible.

Brett and I were having a great battle, passing each other on every lap it seemed. I'm still wondering what happend to JT and Bo though.

Great job NCR on the win! I'm proud that I didn't get lapped!
 
My kids are going to take over my tv and ps3 now so I'll update the points and results tonight. Thanks everybody for a really great race.
 
I asked my wife to move my crawling 8 month old to a different location as he is enthralled with the wheel and PEDALS, (I saw the future). Of course my wife walked away, for good reason, to get the baby some food. Sure enough, (I should at least do tarot cards) he got real close and lifted his hand up to the brake pedal just at the brake zone. I hit the wall bad. I am not chopping off my kids fingers for the race. I don't believe in domestic violence (my eyeballs popped out of my head) so I just walked away and went outside to build a fence. Sorry for the distraction. I forced quit my machine before I punched it. Oh man I was super pissed. I was on ncr's rear for a second. It would have been fun. At least the fence is done. I work so much faster when I have adrenaline jitters. I am PISSED!

I saw you and Brett battling as we passed at one of the hairpins lap after lap. You were going at it. I tapped the wall at turn 1 and got stuck in between the two packs. I thought about running with no pit stop to see if I could win but NCR was catching FAST when I was out front with worn tires.
 
It was nice to finally grab a win in STC! I don't know what happened with Bo. I was trailing him into the left hander and his car jumped forward then hit the wall. I know I didn't hit him but his car behaved like it was hit from behind. JT, Bo and I were in the midst of quite the battle for the first 4-5 laps.

From then on it was playing defense. With shot tires trying to hold off a surging cB. Just kept hogging the inside line on him. Then Mike kept getting closer and closer with fresher tires. A close finish with Mike on my bumper. One more lap and it could have gone to Mike easily. My tires were toast.

The qualifying was a race in itself. The pole kept shifting with faster and faster times. Getting in front proved to be an extreme advantage-very, very difficult to pass without a mistake.

On the replay, there is a car space between you and Bo, but the cars definitely react like there was contact made. I would assume lag played some part in this? Unfortunately Bo got stuck between the two barriers.

That was the most fun I've had racing in a long time, DJ and I were going back and forth for awhile, got stuck at the chicane a couple of times, as well as tearing the crap out of my tires, I just fell behind, but managed not to get lapped.
 
wish I could have been there racing with you guys, had to work all weekend.
I even spent all of Thursday night getting my car to do 1:34's
oh well now at least I have a front wheel drive car selection to take up space in my garage.
 
I'm currently watching the replay and taking pics of the race. I've seen the incident on lap 5 between Bo & NCR using multiple views (and multiple rewinds) and have to say I don't see any contact between the two drivers. Call it a phantom bump but I can't honestly say I saw any blame between anybody. Unfortunately, it looks like another one of GT5's online hiccups and I'm sorry you had to deal with it Bo.

By all appearances it looks like Bo's car reacted like he was rammed but the visual evidence doesn't show any hits. Very weird.
 
Ooh the mr race is going to be tricky. Keeping the car on the track is going to be key as the slightest bit of tire dropping off spins me off track right away.
