Great pics DJ! I know I could have made the distance without a pit stop but in testing my times dropped into the 36's by the end of 25 laps. I couldn't have held off NCR with those times. I really don't like FF and racing by myself......and this race involved them both. I hope to do better with MR. I'm going to fight the urge to use the Lotus.

Thanks for getting a great sport and participating. FF is going to be out for awhile now lol. You were just to fast for Brett and I to keep up. Logan and scorp would have made this race a lot more fun for you.

And if lotus is the consensus pick, so be it. As long as the racing is fun and intense I don't mind.
 
Good shots DJ. That was a fun race for the most part. FF isn't my favorite but the DC5 is a top notch performer and Madrid proved to be a battleground. Very hard holding off cB but just held a tight inside line for several laps.

Really felt bad for Bo. He was super quick in our practices, there was no way I could have beat his qualifying time either. Watching him go off just plain sucked. I hated taking the lead after that-there's absolutely no satisfaction when a racer gets glitched. I was taken off guard when it happened and had to think fast if I had made contact and not realized it. If I bump someone off track, I'll for sure let them back like at Laguna w/RR. I enjoy racing with this group too much to shove someone off.

Suzuka will probably be similar. Short track w/few spots to pass. Try to get a quick hot lap and avoid any melee. Plenty of time to practice. Ran some last night hitting 54-55's.

I'm going with you in picking something different (probably). I've tried about 8-9 cars and narrowed it down to 3-4, at least I've got another week decide.
 
I'm going to try out the cizzetta and berlinetta sometime this week s well as some Lotus es (loti?). The evorA was a handful
 
I'll have an Open Lobby up at 6:00 Pacific Thursday for DTM testing. Mics. will be on for the sake of passing information about performance and car selection for each race. Prepare to use each car you have. If any of us crash bad within the first 4 laps of each race we will call caution. Merc is back up to 1200kg.

I still cant find any more DTM's. A friend shared his Opel but it's a pain to switch back and forth between it and the M3.

It's too bad we can't share or gift the DTM's. I've got all of them. Try cycling your UCD, all you have to do is start an aspec race and quit and it changes. Might have to do it a bunch of times.

UPDATE: my lounge unless we get more than 8/9 then we'll move to public.

I found it was faster to go into the drivers license and just skip from one to the next four or five times in a row and this cycles just about the entire used dealership.

I spent an hour doing this.... Only found '94 Opel that isn't on JT's list. Frustrated.....

And then when you won't need these cars any more they will probably pop up in there all the time.
 
Vote to run Fiasco Thursday. DTM testing is not vital. Go to Fiasco thread and vote.

I'm going to run the MR race so I can host the rooms if you need.

Also we had ten racers last night at Kart Space with mics little to no lag.

That's great news! (well, not so good news for the competition).

I'm thinking if we only get around ten drivers to go ahead and leave mics on but any more than that and I think we should leave mics off.

What do you guys think?

Have we seen any negative effects lately ? I say mics on , communication and fun factor. But Im cool either way for sure.

Seems to be working ok. Some of the "background" chatter gets a little annoying to me, as well as eats up bandwidth.
 
I thought we were testing them out tonight at 9. Don't see anyone on now so I'm not sure it's happening. I might still be on at 10 Envy.
