no x1?
nope
no x1?
There's:
Amuse S2000 GT1 (standard)
Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo (premium)
Amuse S2000 R1 (standard)
Amuse S2000 Street Version (standard)
I think that's all the Amuse S2000s there are in the game. The Turbo is MUCH better than the original GT1, very important to note
Was it the Premium one (Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo) or the Standard one (Amuse S2000 GT1)? The Turbo one is much better and for the same amount of money
And I know it's been a long time since I mentioned the HKS: It sucked - was so bad that I traded it as fast as I could, only to realize it's a prize car later on - NOOO!! It understeers like the Devil - perhaps skid is the answer to make it handle? Idk and I won't find out
Just found the Jaguar XJ220 a few hours before you wrote it - have updated my garage now though as it wasn't the first time I tried something like that
Crossing my fingers: hope to find the Nardo today as holidays are over tomorrow.
btw my takatas at 489hp and 1100kg and i dont think ive done any mods to it. why does urs have lower hp and more weight?
\.
I'm testing the R8 LMS tomorrow I hope. And getting a Bentley Speed 8, it just popped up in the UCD
I'm a very solid driver. Not that aggressive, can drive 20 laps straight with no mistakes, shouldn't be that big a problem
TAKATA DOME NSX: There are two of them, one Premium and one Standard.
The Standard one is yellow and from 2003 (I got this from expert a-spec events ticket)
The Premium one is green and from 2006
splashed a cool 2.6mill on a Zonda R ... I was a bit disappointed actually, did the dream car cup with it, won the first 2, then stuck hard tyres on and was shocked at the lack of traction
if you have a set-up for it id be glad for your response if you haven't used it then you can add me: smalldave and I'll lend it to you to test... if you have done it already add me anyway I'd like to race you online
yo, i'm getting really really bored with gt5. i've got x1 and i've given away my f10 and formula gt and the rest o fmy cars. all i want to do now is find a couple of low power cars with insane grip. i've had the amuse s2000 gt1 turbo ( awesome) but i got bored of it as i used it every race online lol i'm thinking of buying the IS F Racing concept 08. but i cba to wast emy money, fancy doing a test for me?
You should really try the last Nissan Calsonic Skyline.
It's a premium car, around 1m cr.
Yeah, mine is the Standard yellow version.

I doubt used cars are more prone to damage. Rally and touring cars supposedly get damaged more easily than road cars.
don't think I've seen much damage on my cars. I read somewhere damage gets activated at lvl 40. I'm still at 32.
Thanks, I look forward to racing you... but I don't know how your zonda is above 900bhp - I bought the turbo upgrade and engine upgrade yet it's 880bhp. If you race it more does it gain bhp?
👍 u lucky dog Ive never seen the R8 or bentley in my UCD.

i've seen the r8 once, think it was up for 5.6mil. the fsi r8 handles well so i cant imagine how the lms handles
The LMS Race Car is fantastic. It's handling is outstanding. Did a 1.10.1xx on first lap at Deep Forest completely stock and all assists off. Put a turbo on (if you can) and turn on skid and you should get yourself a 1.06.000 lap, I think.
The Speed 8 is 5.5 mils and just after I bought it the damn thing appeared again 4 cycles later.
Now that holidays are over I can't progress anymore in the a-spec, so I must start some b-spec. Only races I can do in a-spec that I haven't won already are the Suzuka 1000km, 9hr Tsukuba and 24h Le Mans. This game could really need a mid-race save function for those races.
bad cars/buys:
10-Integra Type R touring car (150K in the used store. not bad, but not worth it with the evos and imprezas around)
I actually found the Integra Type R Touring Car pretty decent with a slight tune to soften up the front and control the natural FF understeer, it showed up for $74,415 UCD for me and it comes with full modded kit, custom susp, custom tranny drivetrain etc, and by just adding the $20k Stage 3 Turbo to it, I was able to beat my Cusco Subaru Impreza Touring Car times on the Nordschleife with a 7:17.474 which was also very close to my ISF Racing Concept '08 times, so this thing competes with the $900k DTM cars that I normally beat with my ISF '08.
I generally agree with your results, but you might want to revisit this car under the bang/buck criteria, I think it is a great deal for a very decent handling car, that comes almost fully modded and competes well with more expensive JTM and DTM touring cars, I only wish they would let it compete in the DTM challenge like the ISF can.
Great thread by the way, it's been very useful to me in the UCD addiction for purchasing decisions, looking forward to hearing how you like the Speed 8 as I've passed on it a couple of times not sure if it's worth the high cost.
got the Chaparral 2D race car if you still want it.

I was particularly dissatisfied with Spoon S2000 '00, Mini Cooper and Honda Civic RM '97. Amuse S2000 GT1 was also hard to control, although it was fun to drive.
I hear ya, was going to give the touring car another shot after i tried the integra RM, will do it today.
Cool in case you don't want to fiddle much with the Integra Type R Touring tune, here's the simple changes I found helped a bunch with the FF understeer for me (I'm no tune wiz, just for FF cars I soften the front to get power down, tighten the rear spring to help rotate in the corners):
Transmission: Top Speed 174
LSD: (stock) 10/40/20
Suspension:
Ride height (stock) 0/0
Spring Rate 12.0/14.0
Dampers Ext (stock) 8/8
Dampers Comp (stock) 8/8
ARB 3/6
Camber 1.5/0.5
Toe -0.10/0.20
That combined with adding just the Stage 3 Turbo made it feel good for me on G27 wheel, all aids off except ABS=1
Look forward to hearing if it helps.
