Lets take a look at the positives here!

PD has done most of the things we have complained about, so far.

They have not announced if there are any standards cars in the game. Which concerns me.

I think all details will be announced at E3 2013.

Yeah, I still don't understand why people expected that they would tell everyone everything about GT6 at the first announcement. E3 is undoubtedly going to have a lot more info.

I like that fact that the UI is faster and that physics will be improved. That being said, it feels like we're back to square one and that's a lame feeling after following GT5.

Faster AI will make Aspec much more enjoyable.

I'm really interested in this Pirelli Yokohama relationship and how it ties into the physics engine.

Fixed :) Pirelli tire model is in FM4 I believe.

something epic about this 1st annoucement is the new track editor !!

the one we have in GT5 is pretty tough to deal with but needed just a few things to make it perfect.
( no whining: it is just almost impossible to create what you REALLY want like A to B races, tight hairpins )

i'm sure something epicly crazy can come out of this 👍 like mad downhill or rally stages

can't wait to see what's next

I am looking forward to the game and any additional info as it becomes available. There will always be people whining about this and that but the game will be a hit as always.

I just hope they have a proper leader board system in the game this time that was one of my biggest disappointments in GT5 when it was released especially after seeing the leader board system in GT5P.

YA! The new layout or location for the track maker is cool too.

I'm most excited about the UI. I'm serious, it took aaaaages to open GT auto.
In second place: suspension modeling

Gotta say I agree with you there, I loved how GT4 was laid out and something akin to that would be lovely by me.

I'm looking forward to this, but then I do with every GT title. Lets see what further announcements bring.

Geoff there is a gps feature in the game, but I dont think they said exactly what all it can do.I just read that it can help correct mistakes you make on the track.
Check the last point:
Im not sure if thats what you think it is.But hopefully it is what you think it is.
1.The New course Maker
2.new Tire/ suspension model
3.the several thousand parts ( wheels indicate tire width options?)

1) the town you will likely see in the distant background in course maker generated tracks using that theme
2) Several different generic rear wings * 1200 cars = "thousands of aero parts"!
3) Now you can fit wheels from different cars on any car as in GT4

One thing i noticed was the different width of wheels. That should mean that you can use narrow or wider tires. Like put narrow tires on a C63

Faster AI will make Aspec much more enjoyable.

Define faster AI. Because there are already online challenges that showcase a pretty competitive AI. It's not implemented because it becomes too difficult for the average Joe to race against.

Yes. I think they even won't announce everything at E3 as they also said to look forward to Gamescom as well.

Well I'm a bit disappointed but excited at the same time, I'll post it in this thread, since I don't think I'm whining, at all.

First of all, I'm quite happy that is coming for PS3, yes it's an old system but considering the long time they were developing GT6 on PS3 basis, it'll work out better like this, and better for me as well, since I won't have to buy a brand new console to play 1 game.

Being said that, looking at the videos, and many pictures, I don't see many differences from the GT5 graphic style, in fact, it looks A LOT like the game we all have in our PS3, it's not a problem for me anyway.

Now to the cars and tracks part, well honestly 1200 is a great number, if is only of PREMIUM cars, yes, they can copy and paste the current GT5 premium cars which are more than 200 I think, but come up with other 1000 "new" cars, and being cars that we'd like to see, talking about new Ruf's (since there won't be any Porsches), Paganis, Koenigseggs, More american cars like the new Viper, Charger... or at least bring standards to premium. (Supra please). As for the customization, I'm hoping they add up branded bodykits, a good selection of rims. I could care-less for a livery editor, I'd rather see Racing modifications for all the cars, no, it doesn't have to be like GT5's or the awesome GT2 racing mods, but instead, add racing numbers, GT logos, the windshield sticker. And that should be available in almost all the cars. (some classic cars, modified, or already race cars can't have this)
The tracks part, well I hope to see some original GT tracks making a return in these 7 new tracks we'll get. Either way I think is a really small number of new tracks.

Now one part that bothers me, DLC's, the way they are announcing how there will be DLC's all the time somehow makes me happy, I like extra content, but at the same time bothers me to know they'll probably split A LOT of content that should be in the official release, to make it a DLC a month or two later (just like Forza), I really like DLC ideas, as long is actually new content. Not content that was meant to be in the full game, making us pay more to have content that was meant to be in the game.
Either way I'll buy all of the DLC's.

I hope something will be done about the sounds, GT5 sounds are awful, this should be fixed up for GT6.

And well, I'm pretty curious about the new physics system, can't wait to try it out.

Overall, I can't wait to get my hands on it, but at the same time, I feel like the disappointment will be huge, for many players.

Thanks you for raining on my parade. :indiff:
Haha but seriously I dont think thats just a town you see in the background, in the trailer the audi was driving on that bridge. Also that equation for the wings/ aero parts are a little off .

AI that give you pressure.
Riding your bumper
Taking risks
Making mistakes.

Characteristics that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Well, they're already cheating on the car/track count and adding "duplicated cars" again (new Premium Alpine A110 '68 vs. the '73 Standard model which is virtually identical), so I wouldn't expect anything more from them. But this is matter for the whining&crying thread.

TBH, even if there's standards; I bet there won't be as much as the previous GT title. PD could have easily managed to make a lot of the better standard cars into premiums. I won't care if there's some standards still left if they're just a bunch of duplicates.

So much BS... Other games have way better AI and it's not too "Difficult" for anyone. GT5 is hardly hard. Thats why in the last decade most games have a difficulty setting lol.

Is it really cheating? Or do you expect kaz to go into detail about whats technically " new" and whats really new? I think people are dissecting everything he says ( the reason why some dont like Kaz) for news. When in reality he is just being vague going over main points.
Even if they are cheating.. that equation didnt make sense lol.But I get your point.
