The five cars that you DO NOT want in GT6.

I agree with him. Never in a GT game until now have cars been priced at 20,000,000 credits. It's ridiculous. I personally don't care if the Miura in GT5 is some prototype. If they're going to make it's price stupidly high, then take it out and just put a normal Miura so we can drive one by just paying a reasonable amount of money. That Miura prototype we have right now is one car I don't want in GT6 and want to see replaced by a regular one.

Especially when none of those cars, X1 perhaps excepting, are worth anywhere near that much money.

I cannot begin to express my hatred in how PD switches the driver's side in cars whose manufacturer is not in a country with that certain system. Ie; VW Golf '12. The original side is on the left. PD gave us a Japanese version of the car. WHY?? Keep cars in their original form! I'm not saying exterminate it from the list (why would they, it's a Premium) but remodel it.

Well its not individual cars I want to be finished BUT MAKES

1.All Dodges/Cryslers (and its tuners)
2.All Paganis (and its tuners)
3.All Mazdas (and its tuners)
4.All Granturismo Desined cars like the Citreon GT and X1 and many others like jay leno and the formula gt (and their tuners)
5.All Audis (and its tuners)
6.All Acuras (and its tuners)
7.All Caterhams (and its tuners)
8.All Lotus (and its tuners)
9.All Volkswagans (and its tuners)
10.All Daihatsus (and its tuners)

Get rid of all the VW's and Audi's, who's going to build and power the Lambo's?

-> I think I'd pitch in...

1. Cars that can't participate in most or ANY races or events.
2. Cars that are designed for purpose, but no track to match with (ie. Escudo PPRC w/ no Pikes Peak).
3. Duplicate cars that has little to no specific performance gains.
4. Cars that won't make any sense (RBR X20xx, F1 cars, NASCAR, & some concept cars; GT racing, Rally cars, Touring Cars are ok) being in the game.
5. TBD

I really don't get the sense of this thread. If you guys don't like these cars you write here then simply don't drive them! Other players like them and are driving them.
If polyphony would remove all cars which have been named here GT6 wouldn't have more than 50 cars probably....i really wouldn't want that!

End of story...

But some players DON'T like them, and sometimes it's even a big, big majority of players who want a particular car removed.

If 95% of players want...
this is just an example out of nowhere
...4 duplicates of Skyline R32 or Tank Car or X1 removed, maybe someone should take a hint and do something about that.

It's already been said a few times, there is no point removing premium cars with the possible exception of the Red Bull X cars depending on your opinion how believable they are (but let's not start that debate for the 576th time). It's totally fair game for people to suggest standard cars to remove though, or rather standard cars you don't want them to model a premium version of, something they must do now we are 99% sure it's going to be a PS4 game. PS2 era models aren't going to cut it.

There are too many skylines...maybe. But i like the tank car and the X1, though i normally don't use them for races...more for fun driving :)

Would you want them to spend 6 months modelling a premium Tank Car over...well any other more practical car? That's the question you have to ask yourself.

...by which time they could model at least 3 cars I guess. I mean, the Tank Car is by now only a standard, and just look at all the details it has! My point in the post above wasn't about removing Premiums, not at all - the X1 was just an example.

And yes, both X1 and Tank Car are loads of fun to drive. The second one is also a great troll toy :D

Also, to be exact, ZZ-II, there are at least !!!50!!! Skylines in GT5. It's not 'maybe' too many, it's FAR too many :D

Yes, the tank car is already very detailed...so i don't see a problem here too.

And yeh, there are far too many skylines in the game now :D

Not sure what you're trying to say but the current tank car is not good enough quality, it would need to be done from scratch to be made premium. Time better spent making other cars premium.

X20xx
2J
Veyron
Japanese cars (duplicates).. Don't get me wrong, I love those cars but when they are duplicated like this, it's just to much.
Concept cars

I say keep some "duplicates", but only the relevant ones. I don't care about that extra car that says it was sold in US instead of EU or Japan, that's pointless. For example, it would be decent to keep the Skyline V spec II N1 '00 (great car that's quite a bit different from the rest), but not so much a Skyline R33 from '96. since there's already the '95 and '97 which are 100% equal, and a V Spec (which would make more sense to keep). I also hope people don't turn this game into 85% supercars (I'm sure Kaz wouldn't quite allow it anyway, but people ask way too much for what it seems like every supercar on the planet, and ask for slower cars that quite a number of people actually enjoy to be removed).

^ You do have a point there! Let me state an example:

Honda S2000

! ~ The way PD presented it was totally off and should be corrected! As if, their S2000 roster are way too similar!!! As a current fan and owner of this superb roadster, this is supposed to be the roster.

- AP1 Roadster '99-'03 (the Global-spec original, LHD or RHD option)
- AP2v1 Roadster '04-'05 (the US-spec w/ a 2.2L, LHD only) *my car*
- AP2v2 Roadster '06-'07 (the Euro/JDM-spec, AP2 body 2.0 engine, LHD or RHD option)
- AP2v3 Type-S '09 (the JDM final model, RHD only)
- AP2v3 CR '09 (the hardcore US-only track model, LHD only)

^ When I mentioned 'OPTION', means that before purchasing the car the user has the option to choose the car with either RHD or LHD / euro-plates/ JDM/US plates unless otherwise stated. ;)

Only five? They could get rid of 95% of the concept cars and it would be of no consequence. Concept cars are supposed to be an automotive vision into the future, there is no point including concepts of cars that made it into production, or cars that have no historic value.

My five:

Chevrolet Silverado/SSX Concepts
Audi Le Mans/Nuvolari/Pikes Peak Quattros
Chevrolet IROC-z Concept
Mazda Atenza Concept
Nissan GTR Concept 2001

Concept cars are cool, no need to remove them.

I am partial to the IROC Camaro - however passing it off as a concept in GT4 felt like an excuse to only have to use one colour more than anything else. I am quite also partial to the Juke-R. Including those cars in the game look better than dated concepts, in my opinion.

-> Functional concept cars like the Audi's R8 V12 TDI, Nissan's MID-4, Prodrive P2, Dodge Razor, VW Bluesport, Peugeot Quasar & Oxia, etc. are acceptable in my opinion.

-> But, display-style concept cars are a major turn downs for me.

Most of them are looking cool, i like to drive with them

I feel that most should simply be replaced with their modern counterparts imo.

Having completed GT4 100% it was quite annoying to receive old concept cars as prize cars for level 20 events in GT5.

I thought I should add another few that need mentioning;
1999 Ford Focus WRC (Presentation Livery)
1999_Ford_Focus_Rally_Car_WRC_MkI.jpg

This livery for the 1999 Focus WRC was outdated when Gran Turismo 2 was released. It didn't win any rallies or even participate in any motorsport events with this livery, so I have no idea how it has survived 13 years without the livery being modified to one of more motorsport significance (ie belonging to rally winner), such as;

Same for the Peugeot 206 WRC. Aside from being the debut year of the 206 in WRC, there is nothing remarkable about the 1999 car, considering the 206 won the WRC in 2000 and 2002. Now this might be included because of licensing issues, but it ends up looking so dated it detracts from the game. It comes across as just being indifferent towards other motorsport series, frankly. Because I could not imagine PD leaving out the successful motorsport equivalents of certain cars of series like JGTC or Super GT, at all.

There's quite a large difference between the Silverado SST and the Silverado SS, or the GT-R Tokyo Motor Show and the production GT-R.

So long as the cars had interiors in real life, there is no harm in including them in future games as a Premium. Stuff like the Miura prototype, where them being a "concept" means that they have a bunch of stupid restrictions on them and idiotic pricing? Yeah, fix that, but that just requires making their implementation into the game better.

The newest R8 instead of the 'old' GT. There's something in the GT that I don't like, difficult to tell, really.
RS4 2006 instead of the RS5 in my opinion. This, next to RS6 Avant '08, is for me the best manufacturer-tuned car out there.
Agreed about the Q7.
Kinda whatever-ish about the rest ;)

^ Its hard for me to look for the pic of the R8 V10 Plus (since the new R8 V10 Plus looks a lot like the R8 V8 at the first glance), so I settled with the GT. But I really do agree with you. ;)

-> The reason I picked the RS5 for the Nuvolari simply because both of them are coupes. Which the A5/S5/RS5 are the only Audi coupes. :)

-> And for those 'outdated' rally cars, PD should at least gave these cars Color Packages. Meaning an option to pick whether if its a standard color or livery-default color options like the one showned by ShiftingGears.

Is this asking what 5 cars should me removed from the game? Why would you remove any of them? The only ones I would remove would be the ones that have standard and premium versions and remove the standard. More cars is more fun

I don't really see why some of the cars I saw earlier in the thread should be removed. Some people, including myself, like to recreate cars we see in anime, movies, or real life. So if you remove certain model years, then you won't exactly get the same tuning as you would with the model year that is removed. Each car has a tuning capacity in this game, and sometimes the model year affects that. Now I did say sometimes, so don't reprimand me. It's just something I've noticed.
